Cannot install the Framework - Xposed General

[email protected],
I have a problem installing the Framework. The error is attached.
Any idea what's wrong?
Device: Xperia Z1, SU rights granted by supersu permanently.
Thanks!
Best,
Fresh

So, what exactly are you trying to do? Installing Xposed on a device with Android Lollipop? From your screenshot it seems that you are trying to install a Xposed_recovery.zip? Please give us more information about your device and the Android version you are running.

I try to install the Framework on an 4.3 Device. I tried using classic install but also using flash install. Both did not work. Flashing seemed to work partially but it is still not activated. Device is Xperia Z1.

Did you use the official Xposed Installer app that can be found at the Xposed repo?

I too couldnt able to install modules framework .

Flash in Recovery?
Don't you have to install the framework by flashing it in recovery? I know this is the case with the latest versions for lollipop

[Q] Unable to install Xposed framework

[Solved] Reinstalled Framework from recovery using the ARHD zip file I had. Works perfectly since then.
I'm using an HTC One (M7) unlocked and rooted. I have the Xposed Installer installed and have been using the Sense Toolbox and a couple of other modules fine until recently.
The sense toolbox (and other modules) worked fine (meaning I could see all the tweaks working), but I had the message saying something like 'The latest version of Xposed is curently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?'.
When I went into the Xposed Installer and tried installing the framework, the screen would go blank and the phone would restart and I would have the same message in the Installer. All this while, the modules I have installed are working fine.
I tried to uninstall the framework and then reinstall it, but now my modules don't work too and I can't install the framework. It just reboots. No boot-loop or anything. Just a reboot. Same red error message in the Xposed Installer.
I'm not sure if my issue started after I dirty-flashed ARHD 53 (coming from 51) or after I recently updated my Xposed framework.
Any suggestions? I miss my Xposed modules
Thank you for your help.
Use the alternative install method to flash in recovery.
Thank you for the reply. After seeing your reply, I remembered that ARHD gives an option to install Xposed when you flash the ROM, so I went into recovery and flashed Xposed Framework again. It's working now again, although I'm on an older version of the framework.
I'll update the framework and see if it's a problem with the new version. if it is, I'll just go back to the old one.
Edit: Updated the Xposed Framework version to the latest 2.5 and everything is working perfectly now.
[Problem Solved] Thank you.

Xposed Frameworks for Xperia ZR

Hi everyone!
What version of xposed fw works with xperia zr and lollipop (5.0.2)?
Right now my last info is, that xposed dont work with this configuration and causes bootloop. Is this true or not?
What must I do to install it on my xperia zr with rooted lollipop?
Right now without a working recovery, cause the actuall version of dual recovery gives a bootloop too. So I cannot install xposed fw zip file.
Wanna have xposed
Greetings!
Hi Lemmi1,
Please refer to my Thread , i'm explaining how to have a working Xposed Framework even without working recovery
Guide seems to be good, but I have to install everything new.
Think I will wait for a working recovery and try it then.
Is there no apk out that will work with our xperia zr? so that I only must install a apk of xposed fw.
And what version I had to use not to get into bootloop?

Until today there is no way to install Xposed Framework in the "Normal Way" like we used to do in previous android versions, you only have to flash the Framework through Recovery.
While i was searching for the same thing you're asking i found this app : Flashify, i don't know if this can flash zips without having working recovery or not, and also i have work these days so i don't have the time to try it, if you can.. then do it and please share what happened with us.

Which Xposed installer did you install? v2.x or v3.0? A screenshot of the Framework section within the Xposed Installer might be helpful.
I got almost the same problem on CM13; http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-framework-t3273084

Xposed Installer Static Busybox

Hi, experts,
When I tried to install the Xposed Framework, I was led by the Installer to install a fix for the "Segmentation fault" known to my ROM. However, after installing the fix apk, the installation of the Framework was not successful as I expected. My phone stopped the Beat Audio image (with occasional vibrations) before getting into the normal interface screen. I pressed the power button a few times and eventually brought the phone to work as before The Xposed Installer shows that the Framework is not installed.
I am using an ICS 4.0.3 based custom ROM (EnergyROM 1/Aug/2012) on an HTC Amaze 4G.
Could anyone tell me how to make Xposed work on this particular ROM?
Other popular custom ROMs on HTC Amaze are also based on ICS 4.0.3. But maybe at least they work with Xposed after the fix? The "Revolution ROM" was made in Jan, 2014 - maybe it can avoid the busybox problem?
Thank you for your time and help.
Solved. Xposed Installer 1.5.1 works with this ROM. The busybox fix is still needed. One needs to manually install it before install the framework. So far the youtube modules work on my phone.

[Help Request] Installing XPosed on Doogee F5?

Hi there guys! I'm trying to install XPosed Framework on my Doogee F5 running Android 5.1, but there seems to be something I'm missing along the way.
I have the Xposed Installer already installed, and my phone is rooted. However, I still need to install the Xposed Framework, and every guide I try to follow simply keeps pushing me through dozens of other guides, none of them being actually clear in stating what I am supposed to do. Those that actually DO describe what I need, will always link to unusable files (404 errors and so on).
The closest I managed to get to installing Xposed Framework was to use TWRP to flash the Framework's .zip, which however TWRP seems not able to recognize. So I ask: is there a way to actually do this on my F5?
