Cm or aosp rom on t3??? - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just received a t3 replacement. Wondering if cm and aosp roms work OK on t3???

Can't say for sure. I know on TW there was a different install script people were using for at least one custom ROM. Might be similar for CM/AOSP. Did you check some of the threads? Id imagine someone else must have tried or at least asked already.

I've been running cm remix the past couple days it's been smooth so far.

I'm on T3 as well. I've run both slimlp and now I'm on cmremix. Both are sweet as hell.

Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk

I always come back to cm. Currently on n253, gonna try 7.2 the moment i got some time. I'm waiting with ics for my next device (not counting my prime )
Personally, though, I find MIUI to be the best Gingerbread ROM. I hate the iOS-styled launcher, though, so I changed it for Launcher 7.

+1
of all the gb roms i used, i find QND MIUI best as of now (though all the other roms were equally good and had no trouble). i find it to be more appealing. and those cool themes make the phone look different each time

Safe strap stock ROM question

Hi there.
I'm a nexus guy so this bionic my wife has is an adventure. Anyway I have safestap installed and she has been using CM 10 for a bit but I'm just not in love with the stability. I can fix things fine but she just needs rock solid.
So I plan on flashing 4.0.4 stock.
Thing is I want to restore it to the stock section of safe strap since I broke it long ago. I want to confirm it won't erase the Roms I have installed in the ROM slots currently?
Thanks guys!

I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Req. Miui /custom kernels

Okay so we have unlocked bootloader and such now and I was wondering if anyone could port miui over I think amazing addition to our roms coming out as the kernel that's more of a question of is anyone already working on one rather than a request

Bump for greatness?

I've been working with Mex Retail and Miui Patchrom the past week. Needless to say, it doesn't patch smoothly. Now that we have a working CM10.1 I'll give it a go with Patchrom. That's the best I can tell you. I don't care much for porting.
Thanks skeevy u rock man

Any fix for theming phone app in 4.3?

I don't know if this is the place for this question! Anyways now all the dev's have been releasing 4.3 ROMs a lot of my themes for the T-Mobile theme app won't theme the phone app anymore? Is there any fix out there you can do to the phone app so it will theme properly? Cause a lot of these good themes I got arnt getting updated anymore? This is making me stay on 4.2.2 ROMs instead of the new 4.3 ROMs! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Many unofficial CM ROMs are hybrid and mixed with a lot of UI tweaks and other things. Official CM10.2 nightly came out several days ago, and after flashing official ROM, all cm10.1 theme work.
So you can tell the dev of the ROM you use now about this, and find out why this happened.
GOOD LUCK!

I haven't got my N5 yet, but when I do and CyanogenMod is compatible with it, I will run that. I feel like CM is the most reliable ROM. It's probably just cause its the first ROM I discovered.

I'm going to stick with stock unrooted for awhile. I just don't feel the need for a different ROM/kernel.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Stock for now, I will root later but just to remove stuff I don't need on the phone

Patiently waiting for PA!
Stock + Root
probably until PA comes out
Once ROMS start rolling out, probably CM or OmmiROM. Really missing the extras that CM has.
Need some aokp lovin, until then just rooted.
Stock plus root, here. I just can't stand ads, so I installed an ad-blocking hosts file.
I also uninstalled a bunch of system apps I don't need using TB.

Stock rooted. Took a bunch of the bloat(to me) out immediately. Waiting for Carbon ROM and SlimKat to get going good.
There is no AOKP ROM right now right?
I'm missing it so damn hard. I even thought about switching back to my n4 until it's out here
Stock ROM is so bad >.<
im running stock+ root+ custom kernel... i will deff be flashing a custon rom soon once they get some thing ironed out..
Definitely stock rooted for a bit. I'd rather wait until development is stable.

Same here. Am missing some CM features quite a bit though.
(And I love your avatar!!!!!!)
Stock + Root out of the box.
I'm missing the customization from custom ROMs. I keep doing things like ribbon swiping the notification shade to get to the quick toggles out of habit. I'm going to wait until the development stabilizes before flashing one.
Stock rooted. But stock is so smooth. Rooting for Navbar and Toggles I actually want. So AOKP or Carbon whenever they come out.

Full stock for now.
Stock now of course.
Paranoid Android or Purity or PSX in the future with Franco Kernel.
Yay for our cool devs
Stock until I get bored of it. Then back to CM
