Sad story but I just cracked my N6 screen, not just the glass but the display itself and I need a replacement screen on the cheap and soon. Does anyone know of a good source?
At this point I'm even willing to purchase a cracked display that still works just to get me by for the moment.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the recommendation, sadly after the exchange rate they are about inline with american suppliers.
I guess I'm looking for a cracked but still working screen, anyone out there have one laying around after replacing it?

Got it -- it is Just the Digitizer. Not worth my time to fight it for $10.00. Don't buy it. Its Not a replacement LCD.
UPDATE: Maybe not such a good deal. It may not be an LCD screen. Don't buy one yet. I will post what it is when I get mine.

I couldn't believe this price so I bought one. I realize they come all the way from China but $10.00.
I'm thinking with this I can go without a screen protector and if I scratch it, I can replace it.

I'm pretty sure that is just the digitizer. It does say lcd so you should at least get your money back . You'll probably lose shipping though.

Hmm really?
In the description of the auction in Giant font it says:
Conteent:
LCD screen display X 1
T6 screwdriver X 1
Opening tool X 1
I'll see what I get. I don't think he can advertise it as LCD screen display if that's not what it is. I've had other auctions that were misrepresented and the shipping is refundable if it was falsely advertised.
Thanks!
seems to me too its just a "digitizer", bro! thats just a clear plastic screen that goes OVER the actual LCD and you can see it in the picture.
however he DID say LCD screen so you could try it out. although i highly doubt it bec. everything is pictured and there are no LCD screens anywhere on there.
oh well, theres always paypal REFUNDS!
So, what did you end up getting?
Checking to see if anyone knows of or has a source (other than eBay) for screen replacements for the focus. I've got a badly cracked screen that I'd like to replace, but samsung direct wants $156 and the cheapest on ebay is $98.xx coming from overseas. Everyone I found via google is in the $120's give or take now as well.
Kindof kicking myself for not picking one up when I had the 10% off ebay coupon and there were US sources at $98.
Just bought 2 screens from a wholesaler. Installed one and its working great. Need sim card replacement tray now. Can't find them anywhere. If anyone has a link please let me know.

I'd like to know where you got the screens too.
www.wholesalegadgetparts.com, US wholesaler, $99.00 bucks, BBB rated etc... I just ordered one.
******** UPDATE, this seller is legit. Fast shipping, and the new digitizer/screen is flawless.
How about some info on disassembly and replacement?
So, if your 2 year old is like mine, he's quite efficient at shattering your phone's screen. SO, I went online and found a replacement screen and set sbout installing it myself. I make no claim at any sort of electrical know-how... Damn it Jim, I'm a med student not an electrician. But I do enjoy my gadgets. Anyway, I went online and found some you-tube videos and successfully changed out the screen! Woo-Hoo! I used a hybrid of the two videos as one of them seemed a little too, much but it had a good rebuild sequence.
The first video has a good description of how to remove the screen (I didn't use the hair dryier and it worked just fine), and the second shows how to put it back. The second video should also be good to show how to replace other thinsg (camera, etc.).

I hope this helps people out there make their own replacements a success!
I have a cracked glass, the LCD and digitizer are fine. I have found someone that sells the outer glass for $16. My question is if I can get the digitizer off the old glass and onto the new one.
I honestly don't want to spend $100 on a screen replacement when I can buy a slightly used one for $150...

On ebay is 12dlls the glass, somebody told me that they fix it in a mall were i am from (Mexico) they heat the screen to disolve the glue but i'm not sure about this. The total of the price should be like 35dlls the replacement.
Does anyone know where to buy replacements?
I would love to replace my Sprint blue back with the silver one once it breaks. I know it's only a matter of time...
I would like to know as well since my back is cracked now.

A back and new bezel is $145 installed according to the Samsung Service Center in Plano, TX. It's about ninety minutes worth of work and if you're near a service center can be done while you wait.
EBay has spare parts now.

This. Tho I doubt it considering it's curved.
$45 On ebay. ..sorry I can't post link yet.
Theres a local, to me, supply company (etech parts) that says they will have them in stock very soon. I know it doesnt help now, but they do have a website. Just search for it, as I dont want to break any rules. There are a few parts on there for the Note 5 now, but the screens, s pen, backs, glass, etc will be there within a few weeks I was told.
Not sure what their pricing will be like, but it will be genuine Samsung parts.

Looks like there is but I think it only comes in the bundle pack. I don't think it is tempered glass. I am considering this. Drop test looks promising.

Hi guys, I am planing to buy this part http://m.ebay.com/itm/301919713916?sojTags=bu=bu&euid=4124923511da4d918b84785bd245abaf&_mwBanner=1
Has anybody buy it? Or there is another alternative

I purchased this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/151944057660?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. It looks OEM whereas the others I have noticed do not have the text at the bottom of the glass.
I bought one of these:

It has a Samsung logo (can't see too well in image) and they appear legit. But be careful when placing on. You must gently press all around the edges before it seats right in perfectly.
I believe this would be the same procedure as replacing the battery. it would involve using a heat source (a heat gun in the video I have seen) to soften the glue, use some plastic tools to gently pry up the back and apply the replacement (not sure if you have to reheat or not) it does not seem complicated, you just have to be careful and not rush it or you could damage your phone.
As has already been posted the parts can be had from several sources. (one bit of advice - if you are not sure about doing this yourself, you may want to have it done by a professional)
Cheers,
BR
Hey ppl I bought a nexus 6 about a week ago for $100 on eBay with a broken screen. It's 100% usable and works great. I'm thinking of repairing it but the stupid screen costs $200 to repair! So I was thinking to buy a LCD glass separator for $80 plus the actual glass for $13 and fix it my self for under $100. The thing is I want to ask if its even possible to do this? I mean if the touch screen is connected to the glass or not and if anyone had any experience/advice?

Just some first hand experience here with trying to separate the digitizer from the LCD on an LG G3... I've done a fair number of screen replacements before but this was my first attempt at a glued screen where I was really trying to save the LCD. Without writing a 10 page summary of all the problems I had, basically it comes down to trying to heat the screen with a heat gun was fairly inconsistent, as soon as I started to slide the separator in, I shattered the LCD. The wire method might be a little safer but if possible, I would recommend replacing the screen entirely if you can find one for a reasonable cost. You'll probably save yourself a lot of time, frustration and possibly some money if you do break the LCD by accident.

So I guess what you're saying is save the hassle and some money and replace the whole LCD, faster and easier.... Only people that done this method 100 times are able to do it efficiently I think because it sounds near to impossible for a newbie to do it
Thanx anyways dude!

Its a pain I the ass without the proper tools. I tried it on my old S2's a few times and could never do it. For this job, $200 is money well spent IMO.
I tried to separate my broken glass from screen on nexus 6 and I broke the screen, it's veeeeeeeeeeeeery hard to separate glass from LCD panel. Fortunately in Poland screens are cheap and I bought whole original screen with glass for 400 zl it's about 50$.

Thank you..

It is practically very tough work to replace only digitizer or screen .you have to replace it as combo. B'cause now screens are coming as that Even if you replace any single of them it's not going to work for long in my opinion go for whole screen
