Please follow the instructions precisely
You must downgrade to ICS version 303 in order to use that method. Then upgrade following the method to keep root
Thanks for reply
OK by this way you mean that I'm going too lose my data

I dont think so, but you can back it up in Titanium Backup anyway and restore it later
Do you have any idea why the backups & restore stop app working ? And can you tell me more about downgrade.

Because Sony closed that loophole.
Downgrade to 303 using flashtool
Root using bin4rys method
Install CMW
Flash a pre rooted JB rom (Mine for example)
Before rebooting flash a JB kernel.
Sorry I forgot to tell you my bootloader is locked is this safe..?

Yes. You will have to flash a stock JB kernel then.
Do it in flashtool by flashing a stock JB ftf and exclude everything except kernel.
And please can you give full tutorial..

The search button at the top right of your screen will help.
Just type into it "Root many android by bin4ry"
That will tell you how to do it.

Firmware 7.0.A.3.195 can not be rooted. You should downgrade firmware or upgrade to jellybean then choose option 3 in bin4ry`s method.

[Q] CWM & ROOT for Xperia T

Hello guys,
This CWM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34607959&postcount=1 and this root v.31 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31545627&postcount=1 work on Sony Xperia T - JB 4.1.2 build 9.1.A.0.489 ??
Thanks
Use Doomlord's Easy Rooting Toolkit to root, and then, yes, you can install CWM.

Just use the generic CMW recovery

First question, have you unlocked your bootloader. If not, there is not much that you are going to be able to do.
Now assuming that the former is true. By far the easiest method is to google "Install_CM_for_mint" and follow the instructions for getting boot.img on your system and rebooting. At that point you will have the latest released generic CMW recovery installed (6.0.3.6)
You do not need to unlock the boot loader to install recovery. You do not need a custom kernel to install recovery.
Please read post 2 of the all in one thread to find out how to install recovery on a locked bootloader

For the root and the recovery we do not need unlocked bootloader, my question is if those of the two guides posted at the beginning work for the version of firmware that I have.
Yes, both threads day they support the Xperia T in their OPs

Allright, I wanted to do this last week. The way i did it was quite simple.
Back-up TA partition!!
Flash stock Android 4.3 (flashtool). Ftf file.
Unlock bootloader (flashtool or fastboot (official way) )
Flash recovery (flashtool (fastboot didnt work)
Open recovery and flash recovery again also flash superuser in cwm this time)
Flash rom (cwm)
Flash gapps (cwm)
(ill see if i can find some links later on)

if you bought the Xperia Z,then root it using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405 but only on 10.3.1.A.0.244/2.67 firmware
then install recovery & flash a pre-rooted 4.3 rom

Flash DooMLoRD's advanced stock kernel, then flash the latest SuperSU zip.
