laggy camera lp5.1.1 - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it just me or my Dad's C6903 running kitkat 4.2.2 has a lot smoother camera viewfinder ( good refresh rate) as compared to my C6902 running latest lollipop 5.1.1?
Both the phones are non rooted and running stock Roms.
I recently brought the phone from a friend of mine and directly updated to 5.02. Couldnt comapre both phones on KK but AFAIK my C6902 also had smooth viewfinder on KK
Many people are facing this issue and videos are posted on youtube showing slower refresh rates of 5.02/5.1.1 xpedia Z1

flash 5.1.1 through flashtool

Tried reflashing. No changes !
Does anyone have solution for this problem ?

Camera troubles on stock based kitkat ROMs

I am on Unlocked bootloader currently running monx ROM 4.3 jellybean. When i flash kitkat based ROMs on my z1(C6902), the camera won't focus and neither would it take pictures. I tried the camera fixing apk method but it won't help. And this has been the case on all stock based Roms I tried(monx, iHackers 4.1, ROMAur 8.0).
The camera works fine on CM and SlimKat. Can anyone help me on this?

Sony Xperia Z1 Lollipop 14.5.A.0.270

Recently I bought a Sony Xperia Z1 that came with Kitkat. It is worth to upgrade to the Lollipop 14.5.A.0.270 or it is better to stay with Kitkat?

In my opinion its better to unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom
As long as you don't want to unlock your bootloader you could safely upgrade to .270 and root your phone using kingoroot( then remove it using some scripts and install supersu)
Or just stay at .270...
You can also downgrade it back to KK using Flashtool if you don't like lollipop..
Lollipop has some issues (depends sometimes .... ) but for me its better than KK..
Also we are currently waiting the new official 5.1 rom which will fix most of the issues (I hope so)
Stay with KK
IMO It is better to use KitKat with this phone. You can tweak the hell out of it and play with multiple roms. The stock rom for Lollipop on this phone is a joke. You could quite easily use the same software running on z3 roms on this phone.
But for now I have one recommendation. This is my fave rom for Kitkat.

What is the best rom to Xperia SP LBL?

Hello I have Xperia SP C5303 2.05 actually with a rom 4.4.2 CM11 (Actually i can unlock the bootloader but i have problems doing it)
Well i wanted to know what's the best rom to xperia sp c5303 .205 in performance, battery, quality
first I installed Lollipop 5.0.2 (CM 12) the battery worked good 1 day duration, playing, on internet, apps but so the performance was so slow and bad, but i think Xperia SP wasn't made to Lollipop I don't recommend you Lollipop if you want to install it on your Xperia SP and that's the reason so I back to Kit kat 4.4.2 (CM11) but i have a little problem with performance so the touch something isn't normally responding in way to I need to press strong the dispay to type in the keyboard or the UI stops sometimes, all else works nice.
The generic rom gives me wifi problems because disconnects alone or doesn't go far, (also it's obsolet)
so I wanted to install the master rom v5 and that all goes well except say it gives wifi problems because disconnects, just doesn't work or get error when connecting. I've read that in comments
(is that true?)
Also I saw PureXperience 5.0 (4.3.1) it's a custom rom I think so because it looks like sony z3 with lollipop but I read something about it the people saying drains battery fast and the phone is hot the mostly time (I had that problem in 5.0.2 cm 12) so I want to install a good rom but I don't know which one so can you tell me which one is the best rom or recommend me some and the why
Thanks!
Hi
I installed many roms on my Xperia SP
Cm 12 was awful but when i installed cm 12.1, my mind changed about lollipop
Cm 12.1 was really great, i didn't have the problems that i had in cm 12
But for Cm 12.1 you should unlock your bootloader
I suggest that you wait for Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1
That works on LBL
Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1 [LBL]

Internet Speed on Xperia Z3 Compact on LP and MM is too slow, but on KK is ok

Hello everyonw, I've got a problem with my Xperia Z3 Compact:
Recently, my device, which is running Android 6.0 MM has too slow internet speed. I tried to flash it back to Stock Android 5.1, then 5.0, even Cook rom based on these version, but no changes. Finnally, I flash it back to KK then the problem is fixed.
However, I don't want to stay at Android 4.4. Anyone can tell me what is this problem and how to fix it? Thank you very much.
(Sorry for my bad English).
You can change rom device into japan version, it has good connection
