Hi XDA!
I just did a straight 7 hours research on how to install cyanogen rom on Xperia Z1, then i saw that we can't on smartphone that is not allowed in the bootloader.
But i saw that we can install with some roms ready for bootloader not allowed. but i didn't find any of the latest version.
And i don't know why we can't toogle it ON... Some websites give their services to toggle it ON. but how they do that ... And no solutions for open public to counter that...
Is there a solution that i miss to pass the bootloader ON ?
Is there a cyanogen mod for xperia Z1 on lollipop for BL ON ?
Is there other solutions ?
Thanks a lot !

First of all, sorry about my poor English.
There's no Xperia SP forum, so I post here, a Xperia 2013 forum like Xperia SP.
I have a Xperia SP (C5303), and my Bootloader unlock allowed is No. Is there a way to change it to Yes or unlock bootloader this phone?
I am also wondering this. I have reseached this a bit and haven't came accross anything apart SeTools2.
Xperia SP section.
There is no way to unlock a bootloader unofficially for the Z, so I'm willing to bet that the same is true for the SP.
Anyway, go and ask in the SP section. I'm sure someone will know.

Hey Guys,
i cant find an unofficial free way to unlock the bootloader of my xperia T(lt30p). Since the official website took it down it seems to be impossible ;(
any Ideas? cause i need it badly for installing white neos homebuild cyanogenmod 12.1 rom.
Greetings from Germany
I just did it yesterday, selecting the T2 instead of T. It worked fine.
Check the sony website, did mine last night.
I own the Xperia SP since 2013. I recently got a Galaxy S6. The issue with the Xperia SP I had was like many others, even after Carrier Unlock, the bootloader unlocked allowed remained No. Hence I was very limited to the ROMs I can use. We don't even have Lollipop stable enough for daily use. UBL right now has Marshmallow and also Cyanogenmod Nightlies which I would like to try out on my Xperia before I root my Galaxy S6.
So do we have any updates for SP users to be able to unlocked the bootloader? I mean neither Sony nor carriers support the device anymore, they should allow us to play with it now, no?
Please post any updates here
i agree they should tell us how to unlock it as no -one supports it anymore
I read somewhere (i realy dont recall where) that sending your phone to sony so they can unlock the device for you. is possible.....
Any news ?

Hi,
My Xperia SP has a locked bootloader, and cannot be unlocked.
I have rooted the device already.
I am looking for a ROM which is Android 5.0 or above, which I can use on a locked bootloader.
I saw VanirAOSP but that looks to no longer be available, the 5.1..1 download link just hangs.
Appreciate if anyone can advice me of one.
Also, I do need the camera and the phone to be working, I was reading on some Cynogenmod based ones but read that the phone didn't work, which would be no use to me.
Thanks

Greetings friend,
I've personally emailed Sony asking for official way to unlock bootloader of my LT29i.
Unfortunately the reply was unfavourable , this means we'll have to unlock bootloader using unofficial method.

Hi buddy, I've verified that by selecting Xperia T in the Sony Official Unlock Bootloader link is working on Xperia TX as well as long as the IMEI you provide matches your device (selecting Xperia V may also works). Now my bootloader is unlocked. :fingers-crossed:
Credit also to @ibanez7 who feedback me to this solution.
