i want to know is there any zip package i can install in my recovery to disable my four capacitive keys? i already got the
on screen soft keys but i need to disable the capacitive keys

Hey. All in one Gestures is the name of your app. Select <Single Tap> as 'No Reaction' for all buttons instead of power. Also you can turn off the capacitive's lights with 'Galaxy Button Lights' app if u haven't got that option in your seettings.

hello there! i have one galaxy tab P1000...my tab is unlocked and rooted and also has super user access and clockwork recover mod installed on it..
i was trying to flash my tab with an cynogen mod rom for galaxy tab ..and after that try my tab is stuck in to a screen which says on top "overcome cWm Recovery v3.0.2.4
and its not letting me do anything ..its just keeps comig back to same screen again and again ..i also tried flashing it again through SD card update but that didn't work to...im uploading a video ..please go through it and you will have better idea of what im talking..thanks for your help..

ok, instead of using the hardware buttons to select an option, itshould let you use the capacitative buttons on the bezel.
If you use the volume button to highlight your selection, then i think its either the menu or home capacitative button(the ones on the screen bezel), which will make the selection for you.

thanks for reading and replying...i already tried what u r suggesting but didn't work..
i just used a new pit file and now it gets stuck on galaxy tab written on screen...
but good things is i still go in to downloading mode by pressing volume down and power keys..help
If you still go to download mode. Then go back to stock using roto jmi rom. Refer to the overcome thread to find out how to flash and get necessary pit file.

I'm in Singapore, using asia Firmware.
Recently Samsung just rolling out new firmware for 4.0.3 with Samsung Touchwiz.
I had update to this firmware 4.0.3 by OTA.
I was wondering if you guys know how to take screenshot on this firmware.
Previous ROM while still under Gingerbread there 3 ways what I aware of:
1. Swipe using palm from right to left screen, vice versa.
2. Hold and press button of S Pen and tap the pen to the screen.
3. Press home + power button.
I'm aware normal ICS to take screen shot by pressing Volume Down + Power.
However I did try doesn't work.
Only missing is combination button to take screen shot on this firmware 4.0.3 N7000DXLP5 IML74K.DXLP9
Let me know if one of you know this.

Sorry i think because my casing prevent me to press home + power doesn't work properly, I just removed it and it did worked.
But the sequence are different from previous ROM (GingerBread) Home+Power, now is Power+Home. And File was saved under Screenshots folder not Screencapture anymore.

Oh... coz for me i juz press n hold home + power 2gether till it takes the shot... so nv notice is home or power button to press 1st...

is there a way to change the storing path of the menu+power screenshot function?
I unlocked and rooted using Nexus Toolkit. Today I need to apply a Wi-Fi fix but I can't get into recovery properly. When I reboot holding the volume buttons it goes to the normal recovery screen but the volume buttons will not scroll through the options. Any ideas ?

I was told by CSR on Friday there will be a fix or this common problem. I updated and it hung at a login window. he also told me I would be contacted soon, 3 days ago... I think they are swamped with returns and all have been taken.
Where can i find a I need CWM touch for Exhibit 2 4G?My phone is recently bricked and cant get to stock recovery.So i flashed the wrong CWM and i CANT touch or select in the menu.:crying:
NOTE :i need the one that can be flashed by ODIN.
There is no cwm touch for this phone. You use the volume keys and menu key to work the reg cwm

Scroll with the volume keys, select with the "home" button.
Hi im new here. I have big prob. My gt-i8190 power button is broken. When the button was still ok i was able to upgrade my rom to omnirom 5.1.1. I was really happy with it until the power button got broken. My prob is now cannot boot to recovery so i could install supersu. Hope u could help me.. (By the way is there a way to disable the pull down menu while the phone is locked? Coz often times the flash light opens by itself while its in my pocket.)
