Do you have any idea which particular ROM you want to flash?
I am using Overcome 4.1 which has a comprehensive install guide, you could start with that as a good introduction to flashing - besides it is an awesome ROM

LG messed up. Not booting. Only LG LOGO. P925

Hi everyone! I have a huge problem here, which I would really appreciate your help!
So I got a brand new LG Thrill 4G AT&T. I root it with one click. I Bought the code to unlock it and I was using it with T-mobile. So I had a couple of wonderful days until I start messing around with my rom. The first to say is that I install the rom manager and installed the Clockworkmod recovery to download new roms. I didn't get it at the moment, but when the app prompted me to choose the model of my phone I chose "LG 2X". My phone freeze so I restart it (worst decision ever!). So here i go, turn back on my phone, and I noticed after 5 minutes of booting, that I don't go beyond the LG Logo.
I've trying everything I found in these forums without any success. I started with a wipe factory reset, with gives an error of E:can't mount recovery log, so It doesn't work.
My recovery doesn't have the option to install from zip
I'm working on this process right now without any success yet

I read on one of the forums that I could use ITALY bin, which didn't work. I'm about to test "MEXICO" bin, and see how that goes.
I'm desperate and running out of faith... I Would really appreciate your help fellows!

Clockworkmod loop HELP Please

Hello Everyone,
I finally bought the new Galaxy Note and well I think I may have done something wrong. I unboxed it, turned it on played with it a bit. Then I rooted it so far all seemed fine. Then i installed clockworkmod and this is where things went wrong now no matter what i do when it boots it goes straight to clockworkmod recovery. Please anyone that is on help, To be honest i am freaking out because i forgot to look and write down the info for this phone so I am not even sure if i can flash it back to stock and start over.
THANK YOU so much to anyone who helps.

How did you root it? Did you use the zergrush exploit? Odin? If you can get to CWM recovery, you could trying flashing a GB ROM, stock firmware, or a nandroid backup...if you made one of those?
First of all thank you for taking the time to help me, I do apprecaite it. I used ODIN to root the phone. I also used ODIN to install clockwork. It will boot straight into clockwork with no problem. Do you know of where I can find a stock rom and go back to the way the phone was when i bought it? I have no idea of what was on it when i bought it forgot to go to about phone to write down the info. I feel so stupid right now.
It doesn't really matter what was on your phone when you bought it. Just go here, download one of the older stock Roms (KK9 would be my choice, easily rootable via zergrush method), and flash it using PC Odin.
After you're done, root it and upgrade stock, flash custom Roms, whatever.

I'm glad you're in the clear now.
So in order to get the phone back to the way it was original when bought, if i follow those instructions and download the kk9 one and then let the phone update everything will be like it was. Think i will hold off on rooting and stuff till i learn more cant afford to mess this phone up.

GT-i9001 stuck on rebooting into clockworkmod

[Solved]
All you have to do is revert to an older version of clockworkmod, I used version 6.0.12 I believe.
the file name is: CWM6012-CM9-recovery so it might be that. Yep that's it, now i can finally rest

The title says it all.
I tried to install a custom rom on my Galaxy s plus and I figured i'd need cwm, so I got the latest, installed it through the default recovery.
And now it keeps booting into the recovery and I can't get the stock back.
So I still tried to install a custom rom, though it keeps booting into cwm.
Can anyone give me a hand with this? I will need my phone today, so I would really appreciate any help I can get.
I own a One X, though it is at the repairs and now I messed up my only usable phone

[Q]bootloop after flashing new 4.4 roms

First of all hey guys I'm new to this forum as a member but got all my info on how to from this forum.. My question is I have tried repeatedly to flash the new 4.4roms (RA,sinfull and HTC one nexus edition) I used new recovery (twrp 2.6.3.3) flashing is successful but after the reboot I get the normal screen to set language but after like a sec or 2/3 my phone reboots.. And he does this with all the ROMs running 4.4.. Flashing RA HD 31 with 4.3 I have no problem.
I even tried whipping my whole sdcard and pushing the new ROM to my phone and then installing but still the same problem.. I'm getting a bit desperate because I have looked for some help on the forum but couldn't find a specific problem.. Can some one please help
had same problem

looks like 4.4 roms need S-Off, if you're S-On it will result in bootloop, no workaround AFAIK.

are you s-on?
like the person above me said, you need to be s-off'd for 4.4.
I have the same problem I flashed a 4.4 rom when I had s-on and now it's in bootloop. I can't even get into my recovery because it just goes back into bootloop whenever I try to, any suggestions on how I can fix this?
