Can't mount system [TWRP] - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I've unlocked my bootloader and flashed TWRP.
Unlocked the bootloader the official way, flashed TWRP latest version from their website.
When I booted my phone it went straight into recovery. I saw that in "Mount" system was unchecked, checked it, rebooted, but it still got into recovery.
I downloaded official stock rom for 5.1 and flashed it using Flashtool and now the phone boots, but TWRP seems to be gone...
Any ideas...?

It seems that you are on stock when you flashed twrp, than you need kernel for stock which support twrp on fota partition, androplus kernel is the one for you. When you flashed stock rom it overwrites fota and you loose twrp

I downloaded twrp.IMG and flashed using rashr. but it rebooting only in cyanogen recovery.rashr shows' partition flashed' , but after selecting reboot device, it boots into cyanogen recovery only. I hope I flashed right way. what's wrong? have to press any hardware buttons? I tried all.I currently using aicp ROM, no separate kernels flashed.

Constant Boot into TWRP

I was on stock ROM and had my bootloader unlocked
I flashed the latest TWRP on my XSP
Then on booting into recovery I wiped data/cache/dalvik cache and then installed AICP with the GApps
after installing when i chose reboot it asked me whether to install superuser I clicked no and rebooted
And now even on normal booting it goes into TWRP
even if I try to connect to my laptop in fastboot mode it is booting up into TWRP
basically no matter what button i press, It is booting up into TWRP
I have installed the latest TWRP available
I even tried the hard seret but again it goes into TWRP

Flash tangerine and see if the problem is solved.
If not,
Do a full wipe again, flash ROM, then tangerine, then GApps.

Hello. This problem is really weird. May I know where did you learned to flash the TWRP recovery?
Also what is the current state of your bootloader?
In the meantime, you can try out my Stock Components as Flashable ZIPs to flash. Read the OP carefully and only choose FOTAkernel component.
Flash it through your TWRP. Shut down the phone (Main Menu > Reboot > Power off) and try to fastboot.

Yeah.. Flashed stock Rom again..
But before it i tried installing some other Rom's.. other than AICP..
it was successful for resurrection remix and stryflex..
but again when i used to flash TWRP it again used to start booting into recovery..
Might be some problem with the recovery.. Didn't try any other recovery though..

I'm not sure which TWRP you installed,
but this is an updated one and it works perfectly. It won't get deleted even if you change ROMs.
Flash the fotakernel of your device from the link provided by TechnoSparks in post#3.
Then flash TWRP.

Problem booting into system

hi all
ok...so i unlocked my bootloader, flashed twrp and SU.
everything went well..
but the phone only boots into recovery. i have googled with no luck.
any advise will be much appreciated.
i think maybe what i did wrong when flashing recovery was to ...fastboot flash boot... instead of fastboot flash recovery.
.291 and 6.0.1
problem solved by flashing a pre rooted rom )

[Q] TWRP lost after flashing 4.1.3

I've recently flashed my OP3T with stock ROM 4.1.3, & do the clean flash with TWRP. After finished, when I went back to the recovery mode, TWRP is lost, and the recovery goes back to stock recovery. Every time I start up/reboot my phone, I always get the DM-Verify warning.
Anyone can point me why after flashed the 4.1.3, my recovery goes back to stock recovery?
Also, which method should I use to change the stock recovery to TWRP & bypass the DM-Verify warning?
Thanks in advance
As for the TWRP, after flashing with TWRP you have to boot into Recovery and root (SuperSu/Magisk).
Only then TWRW sticks.
As for the DM-Verify, there is a thread here how to do.
Honestly, the DM-Verify doesn't bother me, so I don't bother to remove it
Cheers

Thanks for the answer, . Actually when I flashed with 4.1.3, it came from the Experience ROM, ver. 17. After flashed with the stock 4.1.3, when I went back to the recovery, the TWRP is gone, replaced by the stock recovery. I thought that when we flash via custom recovery such as TWRP, it will bypass to flash recovery, CMIIW.
When you flash stock ROM, the image will contain the stock recovery, so you will need to reflash twrp from fast boot

Booting up default ROM, it will make sure recovery is original and if not it will restore it just like it did for you. TWRP rooting will remove the original recovery making it impossible to break TWRP for you.

You don't have to. Just flash magisk or SuperSU right after the ROM, you will get both root and twrp

How to disable stock recovery

Hey guys,
I`m using x526. The other day I rooted the device with TWRP and flashed AOSP extended. But now I can`t seem to enter into TWRP. When I try to enter the recovery mode using the hard keys, it loads into the stock recovery. Even when using the option to boot into recovery in the AOSP extended restart option, it still boots into the stock recovery. So is there any way to remove/disable the stock recovery.Or even any other methods to enter TWRP?. I flashed the latest twrp (3.1.1) from the official site via ADB. Also AEX was pre-rooted with magisk

Twrp is already there, I can't just access it due to stock recovery. I flashed twrp twice and can enter the twrp just after flashing. If I exit twrp I can't access it again unless I reflash it

When you flash a new recovery the old one will be replaced. If you used the code fastboot boot recovery recovery.img the phone just boots to the recovery and not flash it. So please use the code fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.
