I am looking for a great leather cases. For me it does not matter if it a wallet leather case or hard leather case. But I do feel that the premium feel of the Note 5 would feel great with real leather. I have seen the discussion on the Artech21 leather case but I would like to see some more discussion of leather cases.

Check out Tetded cases (www.tetded.com)
I have the leather case that only covers the back of the Note 5 (go to their Note 5 page, then scroll to the very bottom of the page) and I've been very thrilled with it!
Very thin profile, doesn't add much at all to the overall size of the Note5, but does give it much more grip. The leather seems to be very good quality.... the case is about $30, so it's not the finest leather you can find, but for this purpose, it's very nice.
I've had it six or eight weeks, and so far, it's held up very well.
Tetded also has folio type cases, if that's more to your liking.... good luck!

This case is too much expensive but worth it.
Probably a bit over the top, but Mont Blanc: http://www.montblanc.com/en/collect...-edge-flipside-cover-montblanc-sartorial.html
Had the Note 4 case, just waiting for the 5 to come out.

Came across this on Thursday whilst researching cases. I've never ordered from this place, but this case sells for $30 everywhere else.

I just posted a question in the Q&A forum...how non-slip is this case? I'm looking for a minimalist case with excellent non-slip properties.

the texture is on the sides of the case in this version. super grippy.
I know a lot of people seem to like this case but seriously I think that it's overrated. I bought it from a T-Mobile store and returned it within 15 minutes. It simply is not grippy enough on the back side. If you rest your fingers on the back side while you use your thumb for actions the whole phone slides around if you shake a bit. The only ones that are grippy this way are the ones that have a smooth plastic surface on the back. The Samsung oem case is like that and my current favorite the case-mate pop. I have yet to find a better case than that and I have already bought 15 cases including the seidio surface, nillkin, the Samsung flip and oem... The body glove is just too thin and the protection it provides is just too minimal. Everybody has different preferences of course but imho you can do better with your money than the body glove....

Thanks OP! I was looking for the best price on this case, and this place won me over. Shipping is 16-21 days, but I'll put my patience hat on until then
Tempting to buy this case now:laugh:
Most places are having these on sale now?
http://www.wirelessground.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2-ii-body-glove-dimensions-case-black.html $14.95
http://www.amazon.com/Body-Glove-9310601-Dimensions-Samsung/dp/B00A87K5SW/ref=pd_sim_cps_2 from $11.98
This is the case I have been using since I got my note. It is pretty thin but well protected. Good deal.
I bought the other body glove case from a Sprint store. If it's the same material, I found it to be too slippery. Using it with one hand while trying to reach around the screen with my thumb felt like I might drop it. I like the case as it seems like good protection, but I would want to add the fly grip to the back of it to secure it in my hand.
Hi guys. Well I just got my nexus 7 a few days ago. I've been looking through the forums but sadly all I see is leather cases. Can someone recommend a good non leather case for my nexus 7. Thanks !
Very few of them are actually leather. They are mostly "vegan leather" which I guess is the latest term for artificial leather (sigh, I'm old enough to remember Naugahide). But there are reviews on the Otterbox, Seidio, Treegloo and many other non-"leather " cases in this subforum. Did you even look through it?

I did look through some of them, really wasn't interested in the treegloo, but i guess i'll check out seidio.
I dont like using "Leather" to my case, since they tend to thread apart...
Use TPU material case, IMO they offer more protection, since its rubber and bouncy...

What kinda case do you want? A book style case, a screen cover, plastic cover and edges, something else or a sleeve? we know what you dont want - a leather case but what do you want? once you figure that out we can move on to finding what you want or something similar.
Right now i have a case logic sleeve until my treegloo, if it ever, gets here. there are other book style cases if thats what your into, Portenzo, reauthored, and recently dodcase came out with a similar case - with the wood frame.
I'm really digging my Poetic case:
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimli...359146334&sr=8-1&keywords=poetic+case+nexus+7
Very low profile. Adds almost no bulk and the stand function works much better than I suspected.
Here's my review of the rooCASE:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2110758
Ok so I absolutely cannot stand the glossy back on this phone. I mean, it looks nice... if you never touch it. But man the smudges... its just terrible. That being said I am looking for a case, but only to get rid of that. I usually don't get cases because they add bulk, that is why I am in search of a super thin one. So, case suggestions for Verizon G2, hit me!

Incipio feather- got it for the exact same reason, adds hardly no bulk and a nice soft touch finish. I love mine.

Looks awesome, I will have to try it out
The Incipio Feather Shine is also great. I have been using it for almost a week now and have had multiple people tell me that they didn't even know a case was on the phone!
I like the diztronic case. It's probably not as thin as the feather, but it's really close plus it covers the top and the bottom. Fits really nice.

Just ordered the white.
Can always sand the back cover (there's a thread somewhere) or get a skin if you don't want a case.
I have both the incipio feather and diztronic and the incipio is the better of the 2 imo but the diztronic will offer alittle more protection.

I just got the Incipio Feather Shine and it's too slippery for me. I had a Feather before and I liked the tackiness. I can't stand the Feather Shine. What's the best case that's tacky like the Feather and is slim and just barely covers the phone.
I just got my matte black Diztronic. I can't imagine anything being thinner than it. It's pretty grippy, too.

Poetic sand or poetic softouch. Makes the incision feather look like an otterbox. The sand is the perfect grip adder

Is there one that fits the international version (or Sprint/T-mobile version). Only see ones for AT&T on amazon?

I had a matte black TPU case for my HTC Inspire back in the day that I really liked, it was only like $5 too! I could never remember what brand it was though. I know it wasn't Diztronic (they have their logo on all their stuff right?), but when I searched for TPU cases for my GNex they looked closest to it.
Anyways yeah the TPU case I had was pretty thin, I think I am gonna try the Feather though and see how that goes. :fingers-crossed:

I have one, too. It covers the back and sides quite well, and easily slides in/out of my front pocket.

The Diztronic cases are TPU cases and like all TPU cases, adds a decent lip around the edges of the screen = nasty.
The Incipio Feather is the best slim case around. I have a feather case on my wife's iPhone, my old Gnex, and new G2. It is made up of top notch material that won't flake off the coating and is very durable.
I honestly can't recommend any other slim cases. And don't go for the Feather Shine or whatever... just the plain jane Feather. I got the Blue one from Verizon. They are like $18 on Amazon. Walmart also carries them. Pretty popular cases.

Also have the Matte Black for the VS980. I usually hate cases but this one is pretty thin and has a slight lip on the front to help keep the screen from resting on anything. I love the grip and the way the case feels and like most says it easily slides in/out of pockets.

They look exactly the same as the Feather (but cheaper).
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Palette-case-Sand-Black/dp/B00ED2DVZ2
Poetic also uses cheaper chinese plastics compared to Incipio, so you get what you pay for.
Also that case is not specific to the Verizon model. It appears to a be overall generic LG G2 case because of the additional unused microphone hole found only on the AT&T. Also the cutouts won't match the Verizon's smaller buttons.

I'm looking for recommendations on soft/rubbery cases with a minimal build. I found a few online but no reviews yet and I really need a case with a good grip. Hard, poly carbonate cases were too slick for me and didn't feel good in the hand. I had a good rubber case for my G2 a couple years back but I can't remember the brand. Thanks in advance.
*edit: Wouldn't mind a gel case either if on par with a rubbery case's grip.

beautiful case. Do you know of a similar one that fits the leather back?
Spigen has some nice TPU cases, if that's what you're asking for. They SAY that it doesn't fit leather backs, but some on the forums here have tried those cases and it seems to be fine.

There is no "best case". The best case is the one YOU like. You might want to look in the accessories section theres a ton of threads already http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/accessories
That case is great. I got a spigen crystal clear slim case. Before phones were even officially announced. Fits over leather. And you can still see it.
Checked other forums but didn't see the Accessories forum, my bad. Thanks both!!
Ive got the cruzerlite in black and i love it...Had it on a few other phones as well and i love the design and tight fit. Not sure if it works with the leather version tho

Caseology Envoy Series here
I don't usually keep a case on but felt the need to since I have no warranty nor can get insurance.
I have the black plastic back G4 BTW. It's sturdy, not heavy and believe it will protect from a drop. Fits my tempered glass screen protector. Leather feels premium, hopefully it lasts lol. Raised front lip is minimal and is a soft rubber, to hold in place when face down I guess?
I was gonna get the carbon fiber one but this red looked too much fun, like iron man lol

That's the case I have for my G4. Doesn't add much bulk and the back has a nice texture that adds some grip. I posted some pics of it on my G4 here on imgur.

I have yet to encounter this issue so I can't say there's a trick to removing. I usually just start pulling it off from one of the corners and working my way to the next corner. Are you using a leather back?

I have the Spigen case that the OP linked to. Great case. Most Spigen's are. The only drawback to that case is that it takes the sexy back of the G4 and just makes it black. I currently have this one on my phone.
http://www.amazon.com/Case-Verus®-V...d=1434571696&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+g4+verus+case
Looks and protects great but the hole for the buttons on the back is pretty deep so you really have to press your finger in there to get to the buttons.
Incipio DualPro here. Had one on my G2, figured just stick with the same here.
I just picked up a Case-Mate Naked Tough for my leather backed T-Mobile version. It seems durable and I like that it is transparent.
