Keep it in mind that this port still has system breaking bugs, so be careful what are you doing.
I wasn't the one who made this port, I just posted this here as I couldn't find it anywhere

Working:
-Wi-Fi
-Sound (If you plug a headphone in it still works, so you can listen to music)
-Leds (Illumination led bugs out)
-Auto-rotateing
-Auto-brightness
-Video drivers (You can play games, but If you play a game like Subway Surf the phone starts heavily lagging)
Not Working:
-Bluetooth (Check second post for update)
-GPS, Calling
-Lock Screen (+ Lockscreen settings)
-Walkman button
-Camera
Bugs:
-Navigation bar after first boot doesn't work (Temporary Fix: Open Settings app, and close it)
-Lock Screen is bugged, and it is not working
-Sometimes If you reboot your phone, It will do it 2 times in a row
-Sometimes when watching a video with Chrome, you can't adjust the volume (Temporary Fix: Open Settings app, Sound, and adjust the volume, and go back)
-(?)Root doesn't work if you boot for the first time (You have to go to PhilZ TR, and assign root)
Don't use this ROM as a daily driver, as this still has ton of bugs that needs to be fixed
Credits: Huge thanks to Indonesia E1 group, and Papsky Vanie that did this amazing effort!

So you're saying there's a chance that the indonesian E1 group will succeed making it stable? If so, than we can have Lollipop based ROMs too?

There is a way to flash a ROM through Locked Bootloader, but It is risky, and i don't know how to do it
We should also get Satvik Shukla involved in this to speed up the process
and tell him nothing is impossilbe
i think u can install it with lockbootloader, this rom dont need to change kernel,it works with stock kernel

Looks like they are using condor, and everything inside is condor.
But there are no sources so i cannot do anything at all.

Can we "port" sources aswell? For example, the sound drivers from an other Phone that works very well with E1, and make it work with E1's base source?
When I installed this on my phone I was totally blown away by the performance. There is no lag at all and the internet browser is super fast but I encoutered some problems like play store crashing and as already mentioned above network not working. If the mobile network and all the play store apps work then I will probably use this as my daily driver. I know its stupid but the overall performance is way better than sony's stock version and also there is less ram usage.
Thank You so much if you need any help from me just ask me.
I will also try to fix the calling and lockscreen problem if I can over the weekends and report back to you
By the way we also need a flashable Gapps for this rom
Any ideas about gapps

Would any of you guys be interested in a GPU overclock kernel? I've found the file that is responsible for the GPU clock on MSM8X10 Devices. I believe our Adreno 302 on a 28nm process should be able to handle an extra 133 MHz on the device. So I've edited the file in arch/arm/boot/dts/msm8610-gpu.dtsi and change 400 MHz to 533 MHz. I have a locked bootloader due to the carrier lock on my device so I can't try it out. I will compile the kernel after my exams using the Christopher83 Linaro 4.8.x Toolchain and upload the kernel on my Github.

I saw the Moto G Adreno 305 GPU overclocked to 533 MHz. I can make 450 MHz versions, 500 MHz for people who think that a 33% overclock might have an extreme detrimental effect on their battery.
Any new updates?????
I also heard that Siokrismarios is working on a CM 12 port
So Kizoky you should ask Siokrismarios Indonesian E1 team Satvik Shukla and Papsky Vanie to collabrate and work together to speed up the process
I hope this happens so we start seeing nightiles and hopefully a stable version by end of this month.
This might help you

How's this different from CM7?
2.6.35 kernel (boots by default to 768/256-interactive; max=806, min=120)
smartass & smartass2 governors
compache/swap
deodexed & zip-aligned
tweaks for deodexed rom and sd read-ahead (3072 by default)
removed rom manager & some default themes/wallpapers
moved file manager to /data/app
modified lock screen icons
flying-in menu animations
TGF's notification bar (notbar) patch integrated
What doesn't work/untested?
wifi tethering - activating them produces an error & breaks wife, in which case, a reboot is required
gps
Is this faster than CM?
can't claim that as i don't see a big jump in quad/linpack scores, though there are improvements & it does feel snappier (I may be biased though). you decide...

The drowningkernel-8-9-1_mod.zip works fine with CM7.1.0 for me. THX a lot!
I like your lockscreen-icons and the statusbar-patch, but not the flying-in-animation, so I flashed the non-modified one.
What governors do you prefer? I'm using interactive, but never had a smartass/smartass2 kernel on my phone. Does one of these two give me advantages over interactive?
Or can you give me some details about smartass/smartass2 Min-Max-values for the legend?
I have constant cpu usage of 50-75% with this rom :-(

you could learn more about it here. i'm using 806/122-smartass2. if you try to underclock below stock 245, it seems only the smartass governors give a quick response from sleep.

Just a small comment regarding kernel 2.6.35:
In my tests 2.6.35 was not significantly (or at all) faster than .32, neither could I observe improved battery life.
What actually held us back implementing .35 were the crappy WLAN and missing access point drivers. The sources HTC released are significantly broken - even for their original target "Espresso", and this is still a clear violation of the GPL (the sources they used to compile tiwlan_drv for Espresso/Legend are not at all equivalent to what they released).
That being said, if you don't care about WLAN at all you can use 2.6.35. I seriously wouldn't recommend that kernel though and would request you to add a warning to your post to make sure people don't start to complain about random reboots in CyanogenMod.
Thanks man, looks great will test it soon.

What he wants to say is that, if you deodex rom, there is more space used in system since instead of having apk+odex as separate files you put the odex inside the apk thus ocuppying more space. So for a deodexed ROM you have less space remaining.
Of course since most of us are using some sort of data2ext this is no big deal, I just wanted to "translate"

BTW Radio has nothing to do with wifi.
Edit : Plus my radio is up to date !
Edit Plus : I tried this rom (K.35) and official 7.1 Rom (K.32) and i found that the both kernels have the same issue, being on K32 or K35 is the same thing for me, i got the same random crashes, which was not the same thing on the old RC1 (which just sometimes crashes when you just power on wifi with sync enabled).
Too bad, Cyanogen 7.1 passed "stable" with this bug.
^ have you tried this, bro?

Among the many updates and fixes in Build-4 we have a new kernel. Keeping the trend alive we have yet another first for our Tablets. Voltage Control!! You can use Performance Settings in ROM Control to set voltages, SetCPU and a few other apps available on the market work as well. NOTE don't set any voltages at boot until you are once again 1000% sure your device is stable. It's pretty safe to UV 1GHz and below, just use small 25mv steps to begin with. 1.2GHz is close on most devices, speeds above that I wouldn't mess with too much. Remember all devices are different, so there aren't any magic voltages that will make you want to throw away your charger. Use common sense and have fun tinkering.
New kernel AOKP_p31xx_1-52GHz_v2-2.zip posted..
9/21/2012
I've built and uploaded a new kernel that includes a few more OC options. Configured now are 1.2GHz, 1.35GHz, 1.42GHz, 1.48GHz, and 1.52GHz. There have been a few other tweaks made that all add up to FAST. Remember your device may not be able to handle the same speeds as someone else's. Don't cry or feel bad, it's just the hardware luck of the draw. Just like people, there are some freaks out there. The new kernels have 1-52GHz in the file name. Now go forth and flash!!
9/17/2012
New Another overclock option!
New Semi-Nightly Sept. 16/17 builds now include a 1.42GHz step. Kernel still safe boots to 1.2GHz and you can use built-in Performance settings or SetCPU to OC. I wouldn't recommend using "set at boot" until you're 1000% sure your device is stable at 1.42GHz.
Working Samsung keyboard dock
While not all the special keys work it's a start
On the fly GPU Overclocking
Another first for our tabs! Based on imoseyon's Tuna kernel work. To change speeds simply edit /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/gpu_oc. Values are as follows: 0 = 307MHz 1 = 384MHz 2 = 512MHZ
On top of the built in 1.42GHz overclock the tab runs really well. Be mindful the higher GPU freqs will cause an increase in heat production. The values will revert back to 0 (307MHz) on boot. So if you find your tab locked up or acting odd at a higher clock speed just reboot it. On the other side of that you'll need to change the value every time you boot the tablet.
Some nenamark2 scores to illustrate the GPU overclocking...
Value 0 = 307MHz
Value 1 = 384MHz
Value 2 = 512MHz

New v1.1 build uploaded.
I hope everything works perfectly fine now. Except for the camera preview which after a couple of app reboots should be fine.

Too slow at this moment and no osb configuration? Is fresh now so I hope will be better

As promised, here is my first version of Stock kernel.
The main goal of this kernel is to bring a sightly improved performance over Motorola release, patching out the things that needed to be patched and compiling it with the latest Linaro toolchain. The methodology of work is the same as all my projects, trying to improve what we have with the most minimalistic approach possible.
Features
-Based on latest Motorola 5.1.1 source drop
-Compiled with Linaro 4.9.4 optimized for Cortex A7
-Several patchs on devfreq/adreno to improve animations and transitions
-Faux123 Intelli-Plug
-Power efficient workqueues
-Enabled more governors
-Dynamic Fsync
-Enabled more schedulers
-USB: Use Android device as USB keyboard/mouse (With this APP)
-Fast USB charging

I suggest Boggy Kernel, that would be a little eye blink (i don't know if we can translate this from french to english lol...) to Bedalus and his Moggy kernel, and it sounds like "buggy" kernel... so no one would complain if something doesn't work as expected haha.
More seriously, installed it, wiped cache and dalvik (even if i don't think it's necessary) and will use it today, i'll tell if i feel any difference compared to bedalus' v13.
I almost forgot to thank you, that was close.
Thank you !
Si es chileno, es bueno Ya que al parecer beladus nos deja, seguiré probando tu kernel, saludos y gracias!
(If it's from Chile, it's good Apparently beladus left us, I'll continue trying your kernel, greetings and thanks!)
Update: Quizás cuchito's kernel o minino's kernel, ya que esta basado el de beladus? xD

Note that I had set Intelli-plug to boost the cpu up to 600MHz max when the screen is off. I'm still experimenting with these values so it may change on next release. Feel free to switch this value with Kernel Adiutor if you like.
Kind regards!

Thank you for this kernel.
Can you explain why you decided to set the cpu to 600Mhz while the screen is off? What is the default value?
Also " -Several patchs on devfreq/adreno to improve animations and transitions"
By this line do you mean that the kernel actually fix the annoying bug of the random transition animation stutter?

Lets say I have an app that produces wakeclock, I.E Whatsapp/Gmail/Etc, when you get a message the device will be woken, when that happen we don't want the CPU at full speed, 600MHz should be enough to handle those minor task and other wakeclocks your device may encounter on deep sleep.
On the other hand, there's also a theory that is called "Race to iddle" and it says that you need the CPU at full speed to send the phone to sleep as soon as possible whenever you get a wakeclock. It is been discussed a lot on XDA on several devices, what work best for you may vary.
Oh and default speed is no handicap at all. (You can remove it with Kernel Adiutor)
Also remember that this setting is only for Intelli-Plug. With MP-Decision you don't have to worry about this stuff.
Edit: My advice is, If you want to tweak things use Intelliplug, otherwise stick with MP-Decision. (I use default settings that come with the kernel, Intelliplug is meant for those who like to tune up stuff to their liking.)

@J0kker As a matter of fact I named my kernel folder "Boggy" becouse Beto and moggy kernel, bwahah, sounds good. Also "Broggy" may be an option too
@Wyneg Minino's sounds nice (Becouse I freaking love cats!) but doesn't that sound too "spanish" for this forum? <laughs in spanish :cyclops:>

Mewmew Kernel?!
Hi guys,
silly question but how can I amend the settings of this kernel? Seems great, but usually, there is an app that let you access the settings?
Cheers

Alright I just flashed it and its working fine but, in EX kernel editor i usually put CPUs 6 and 7 offline when I toggle power saving mode on. This kernel wont let me do so, it only allows me put one of them offline so either 6 or 7. However its running normally and I appreciate your work dev, hope you find more ways to make it run smoother.
Edit: Boot times? *chefs kiss* and its running smoother than before even when I limited max CPU speeds to about 1209MHz and put some of them offline for just normal use of course like texting and Youtube.

That's awesome to hear! I've been looking for a custom kernel for my A70 for a while now but didn't find any good ones since most got discontinued. I think the only one that was promising is a custom kernel called Fire kernel by @firemax13 but that one seems to have been discontinued too and doesn't work on One UI 3.1
Really nice kernel, fast and smooth. The 1.0.1 version keeps my CPU at 75% somehow. This was not the case with the first version . Any clues? Thx

It's probably to keep temperatures down and maintain good battery life. I wish I had a bit more control over the clock speeds tho because when I'm gaming I want the CPUs to run at full speed, battery life don't really matter to me at least. And limit speeds when I need to save battery, using a kernel editor didn't really work for underclocking, settings go back to normal after a few minutes. I haven't gamed using it yet but I will tonight. I did debloat my A70 and I saw big differences. Together with the kernel the performance is so much better. Also may I ask what app you're using here?
CPU/GPU Meter & Notification - Apps on Google Play
The app is all about the notification. It shows real time data about CPU/GPU.

Thanks a lot
Well I played call of duty mobile at low graphics with max fps, and the performance is amazing even tho I have non of Samsung's game optimization services because as I said earlier I debloated my phone. However I put more stress on it by screen recording my gameplay using a third party app and listening to music on Spotify all at the same time. Device heat is pretty normal always in the 40's. Multitasking with all these apps open + CoD mobile is still smooth as butter.
Edit: Forgot to say I had VIPER4Android FX processing sound in the background the whole time to my headphones.

Just finished installing and it works perfectly! Thanks for the kernel
Is it possible to downgrade to first kernel version in the meantime?
It softbricked my device. It reboots to the screen shown in the screenshot, it also takes me there when I try to enter recovery. I managed to recover. This happened with the previous version and another kernel I tried. Any idea why? I have the SM-A705FN. I wiped cache at the end and have my bootloader unlocked. So weird.

I don't really know why this kind of issue would happen, because the only time I faced it was if I didn't flash the vbmeta tar file or didn't do a step correctly when rooting. Maybe something went wrong

Buddy I think you forgot to flash vbmeta.img when you flashed custom recovery, the picture says it, error verifying vbmeta.img. I suggest you re-flash custom recovery and patch vbmeta.img. Links to that can be found the main a70 group on telegram.
