greetings
how can i modify or create a tab for tf3d,
create a clock?
where i can find that info?
or is somebody wants to teach me
thanks
have you tried using the search bar to find your answers???
yes
and all i can find is some app you can do something pre-defined
i want to know how i can modify it at will
no just some pre-define tabs
Hey Dadiio,
I myself am unsure. However, a developer here on XDA has created a tab for standard windows mobile plugins (I believe it is called MTP). You may want to search that term on XDA and PM the developer of that plugin. Keep in mind you will probably need some significant programming/coding experience.
thanks
let me see
i am a software developer since 1993
but my experience is more on database app

Awesome , since you are an experienced developer, it won't really matter if you have to brush up on a bit of syntax, you have the ability to write a piece of software, regardless of the language. If it was me, I'd try to convince him to lend you his source code as a starting point . I do know that his program keeps an app open in memory for his particular functionality (which is very useful if you use touchflo 3d, I don't due to the battery drain).
Give the guy a shout and see what he says...good luck!
ok
i tried to find the "MTP"
but i don't get nothing
if you can help me i will appreciate it
thanks

wat are u talking about? the info i gave isnt "great" or fabulous or amazing so i dont know what ur taling about or watever ur trying to say.
anyway id like to know how to manipulate the image of the dialpad so it looks like wp7 dialpad. does anyone with great intelligence know how to do this?
it's in drawable-hdpi-finger for theme chooser and inside the phone.apk if you decompile it.
or you can simply search for theme chooser themes http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1219691
or wp7 dialpad app
https://market.android.com/details?...wxLDEsImNvbS5mdXR1cmVkcmVhbXMud3A3LnBob25lIl0.
other than that port it to your rom by decompiling phone.apk

hi r3d.. the 1st link you posted is for CyanogenMod roms. i got virtuous unity with sense. the 2nd link is about the dialer app. i tried it and it sucks big time.
what i dont understand is why something as simple as taking a pic from the android directory, manipulating it, then saving it back to the phone is so godamn difficult? is there a good explanation for something that should be this simple??

That's the point. You gave no real info in your first post. Remember this is a development forum not a support site.
You will need to decimpile 3 apks. Dialer, phone, and com.HTC.resources. then you will have to edit the .9 png.
Is it easy? Yes with the right research and tools.

hi zel.. this sounds like a task. got a question for you and anyone else reading this: is there a theme for the call record behind the dialer where the font is white instead of black and the background is black instead of white?

To be honest I am not sure, I run a custom theme named gotham and dont enclude call recording at all so I have never come across it nor I have looked for it.

im confused here. you mentioned call recording. how is call recording related to custom theming a dialpad?
also... why isnt the dialpad and call record themed like crazy? why is the iphone more customizable than android in this regard when it should be the other way around, especailly when android is touted to be more customizable than iphone?

Sorry read it wrong. Ok that will be an xml in the dialer apk. The main reason is that each dialer is device dependent. The same dialer will not work on all devices
It is more customizable then the iphone in the sense you can use different apps then the stock default which the iphone doesnt allow you to do, Android themeing on a base level takes more knowledge then the iphone as it was made to be a geeks phone. There are plenty of apps that allow Simple theming for the dialer. I would try dialer one.
Hi everyone,
At the beginning I do apologize if it's the wrong place to post this thread. I am a "noob", a very very beginner. Can you guys just tell me is it difficult to create an app, which looks like quiz, but there are no wrong or correct answers, but only points for the answer? I'm in need to make an app where the total points will be visible at the bottom and updated (cumulated) in real tim while choosing answers. Also I want to place all questions on one page, which you can scroll (total of 11 questions).
Below is a simple example how I need it to look like.
I will appreciate any help, it's really very very important to me.
I know that I sound like (and I am ) a noob. I know that there are loads of different tutorials, but it will take me ages to understand it and make it on my own.
Hope you guys can help and again sorry if that's a wrong place for this thread.
Kind regards

Hi there,
The project you described should be fairly easy to create, after you've learned the basics of Android Studio. Alot of the graphical work in your project can be done in a WYSIWYG editor. The first step would be to install Android Studio and familiarize yourself with the interface. Pay particular attention to "layouts" and "design view".
Cheers,
Shockfire.
hi nadaall,
If you want to create highscore for your quiz app, learn SharedPrefernces in Android. It will store value and also modify when highscore attain. If you want to show questions in one page, then you can copy random questions into ArrayList and then show it in the page.
I also created quiz application,Try this: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=makeinfo.com.quizapp
Hi, firstly I just wanna say I'm completely new to android studio & coding. I recently began building my first app & feel like my head is gonna explode
I've tried searching online for an answer to my question but couldn't find anything related, so I thought I'd post it here and see if any of you guys could help me out.
So I spent all of last night trying to create a splash screen and login page for my app, which I still haven't completed but thought I'd get ahead of myself and prepare for the next steps and potential issues I could encounter.
I want to create a circle image next to people's names which they can click and change with a different image (not on their phones device but within the app) just a simple image such as the letter from A-Z which are different colours. I have no idea how to do this or if it is even possible? Sorry if I am not explaining myself clearly but any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

best resource for googling all coding questions is stackoverflow.com
i.e., related to your posting: google for "android click image change background resource stackoverflow"
Hi all!
I've asked this in other forums but I had not luck. I want to create a TextView, TextField or similar with an effect in title mentioned.
I am newbie programmer so this is being hard to me. I saw libraries such as CreditsRoll but are all so old and deprecated. I've tried "translating" codes with that effect made in C#, Kotlin, iOS or other languages but I couldn't neither (and of those, I only know C#). This effect is for an Android game that I made and trying to improve. It's a simple Simon Says inspired in Star Wars., the scoreboard now it's a simple from down-up scroll and I'd wish apply that effect. If you want to see the whole project or a part of it I'll share pleasantly. All help will be much appreciated.
