Volume adjust on screen off - Google Chromecast

I have a problem with my Lg G2: before with stock rom I could adjust volume also with screen off/standby, now I flashed cm12.1 and I have to wake the phone. I noticed the same problem with Nexus 4. With this difference?

Nobody?

[Q] Stock 4.2.2 question

Does anyone know if volume to wake the display works in stock 4.2.2 or is it the same as before? Do any of the custom fw's wake from volume buttons? Anyone know how to wake the screen other than use the power button? It keeps going to sleep during a call (I use the speakerphone a lot) and the only way to end the call is to press the power button and then end call. Annoying!

[Q] loudspeaker during calls is very quiet

hi,
a friend of mine owns a i9305 and i flashed it for him.
but with one problem that the loudspeaker during calls is very quiet which occurred immediately after changing the rom and so i exclude a defect of the loudspeaker.
first i flashed omni and the loudspeaker was very quiet. i thought that the problem is a rom problem.
and now i flashed carbon and the loudspeaker is also very quiet.
you hardly understand what is being said during calls if the loudspeaker is activated.
on stock rom it was much louder but now on two different custom roms its very quiet if the loudspeaker is activated.
all other sounds like ringtones or notifications are loud.
can anyone tell me what is the problem and what can i do about it?
big thanks in advance!

Try the usual pressing the "volume down" hardware button and see if the volume suddenly jumps up - adjust volume as desired after that.

In call volume meter not showing changes when adjusting volume

Hi!
Wonder if this is a software bug or not. When I change the in call volume on my Nexus 6 the volume changes but the volume meter on the phone doesent show the change until it has dissapeared and i press the volume button again.
You have this aswell?

Mine goes up and down with each key press. I am pretty much stock but rooted with Light Flow and double tap to wake. Motorola 64GB on Verizon running 5.0.1.

Ringer volume change with screen off

Well this is usually not a problem but I had the slim armor case on and the buttons are very sensitive. Wouldnt be the end of the world except even with the screen off this phone changes ringer volume if the vol buttons are pressed. Anyone else think this is goofy and it should only change media volume with the screen off?

It shouldn't do that unless you have Use Volume Keys to Wake on. Is the screen being turned on too?

No screen stays off. I posted in the zen kernel thread to make sure it wasn't the kernel (new version just released today), someone said that is stock ROM behavior. Can someone with a stock ROM double check?

I'm running stock 5.1 LMY47D and the ringer volume does change when the volume buttons are pressed while the screen off. However, the volume buttons do nothing when the screen is off and the phone is locked.
I too have this issue and I cannot seem to get rid of it no matter what I do. It only happens when using the "none" lockscreen.
Grab volume locker from the play store. The only back draw is that it doesnt work if connected to BT

JB rooms with built-in volume rocker wake

Hello guys. Can you inform me with JB roms have built-in volume rocker wake? I have an unresponsive power button and this is the only method to screen on. I mention that I had KK installed on my phone but I had problem with screen on when receiving calls (screen was on only after few seconds and I missed several calls that way). So I want to go back to JB where I didn't have this problem. Also can you point me to the download link for these roms? (I have checked the links for some modified CM 10 with volume wake and Vanir 4.3 and they are not available anymore). Thanks
