Hi Xda,
Yesterday I tried to install cyanogen on my Lg l90, I rooted it and flashed my phone with flashify and tried to install the rom, but during the installation something went wrong. I got into a purple screen that told me that the installation was failed and a ''Ramdump'' occured. So I canceled the installation, but when I tried to reboot my phone. It didn't work. I can't get into recovery mode, download mode or emergency mode. Nothing works. But when I put my phone on the carger without the battery in it. I get an icon of a battery on my screen. And If i plug my phone into my pc, A removable disk connects with a capacity of 64 Mb. I don't know what it is, there are 2 maps on it. Verinfo and Image. If I open the map Verinfo I get a textfile with a number on it. The map Image contains 75 files. I tried everything, getting it back with Odin. But nothing helps. Can you maybe help me?

When pink screen ramdump appears hold power button to restart the phone, it should boot to android.
Then you need to unlock the phone bootloader, check this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-flash-custom-t2839690

Hey all,
I have a problem with my lg p990. At this time, I am trying to figure it out whether is a software or hardware problem. I have searched each and every forum to over come this problem but went in vain.
problem:
1) lg p990 shows lg logo and goes blank.
2) when vol down and power is pressed the phone goes to s/w upgrade screen.
steps I tried:
1) I have used smart flash to flash my phone to stock ROM.
a) downloaded the stock ROM and flashed with smart flash. The smart flash says process complete successfully and the phone restarts and shows lg logo and goes blank.
b) I tried to flash different stock ROM with the smart flash but same result.
2) I tried using the lg update tool (offline procedure since lg blocked it).
The lg update tool successfully completes the update procedure and tells
the phone will restart. The phone goes to restart and the phone shows lg logo and goes blank again.
3) Last but not least, I tried to download the custom ROM.
a) I downloaded the ClockWorkMod recovery by using nvflash
b) after successfully download recovery image, wipe cache/factory reset/wipe cache partition/wipe dalvik cache.
c) copied ROM in the root of the internal sdcard (connect the phone-->mount it-->copied the ROM and Kernel--> installed the package--> says installation complete-->reboot phone--> the phone does not get pass through lg logo and stays blank. I have waited for 30 minutes but no luck.
I don't know what else to do. After I tried all the steps, the phone just powers on and shows the lg logo and goes blank but the menu, home, search button still lights up. I also resetted the phone but still same problem persists....
Any help would be greatly appreciated otherwise I have a paper weight worth $350.00
I had the same problem as you face here.
I tried everything NV-flash, smartflash, you name it, no luck. Then I did a emergency repair in the LG updater.
Start the Updater, select "emergency repair", make sure drivers are installed.
Battery out, press Volume Down and connect.
Enter IMEI and S/N and repair program starts.
I had to do it twice, before it finished. I maybe had a bad USB connection or cable, but after "S/W update" showed up in screen on second attempt, I reinserted battery and it went very smooth.
Let it boot.
And then root with NV-flash and you are back in business with normal GB partition table.
I can recommend Tonyp's CWM 6.0.1.5 touch for NV-flash, when you have finished rooting.
It took me 45 minutes, with a not too good internet connection.
PS.: I did not try this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1715272
but since I could not call up NV-flash, I did not want to spend even more time trying.

Exact same issue here...
You found a solution yet ?
My lg stuck on logo.I use this http://www.modaco.com/topic/335474-25-mar-nvflash-stock-rom-release-v10b-dated-1300166062-15032011/
and i use this for clean stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264289.
So I was just screwing around with my fonts folder(under system) and I replaced my custom font file for Roboto-Normal.ttf with the original Roboto font and when I rebooted my phone it got stuck on the LG logo and wouldn't advance after that. I also noticed while it was stuck on the LG logo if I hit any buttons in any combinations the phone would vibrate randomly. My phone is rooted with debugging on.

Maybe the font was not compatible for your phone,If it was compatible for you it should apply and you should see it immeadiately,Rebooting is not required.
Try to connect the computer and Use the LG R&D Tool to flash the ROM.

No I wasn't using a custom font installer I was just putting a different font into the system root fonts folder and that ended up slowing down the phone so I restarted it and now its bootlooping.

That's Because the font was written bad or the system cant render it because wrong format, that's why ended up slowing.
Turn off your phone,Hold Volume + And Plug it into USB.AndUse the LG Mobile Support Tool,Select CS_Emergency Mode and Flash...
Or if you could get into the phone into safemode,Fix it by replacing other font into the file.
That's only 2 way to fix your phone.

When I hold down volume up and power it just goes into the logo and if I continue to hold it it vibrates then immediately shuts off. Ive tried before to enter recovery mode on this phone but I think LG blocked it.

Perform a factory reset. See this thread Q14.
I had a very similar problem that stemmed from trying to install a new font. When I tried a hard key factory reset, it did nothing to fix the bootloop. Rather, I think it made the phone impossible to reach with ADB by resetting the "debugging mode" setting along with everything else. My advice to you, though I haven't actually tried this because of the above problem, is to try to access your phone through ADB.
If that doesn't work, what I ended up doing was sending my phone to an LG service facility with a note attached detailing the problem and cause. They were able to restore it, despite it being rooted.
Update
Ok so I left my phone out unplugged for about and hour on the logo and it popped on so Im trying the same thing again but with the sim card in and if it works Im going to see if I can make the thing load faster by updating the permissions on the font file or using a font installer all together.

Still stuck in bootloop no other activity since restarting and puting in sim, I also about two hours ago took out the sim and restarted
similar problem
i was messing with the app chainfire 3d was prompted to install a graphics driver which and gave me a warning that it might brick my phone if it was not compatible so i said what the hell and proceeded now im stuck at lg logo with no clue on how to get it back to normal i am currently trying lg mobile support tool which seems to only stay at 10% been at it for about 15 min now not sure if just copying files or what im clueless on what to do im running rooted d415 stock rom my phone is on download mode right now
Same problem, different cause
I was installing an update to CM. In the recovery it said something about symlinks failed. I restarted, and now phone will get past the LG logo, but black screen. I can't access recovery either. In adb, I see the device, but it is unauthorized, and I obviously have no way to authorize it. Any way to fix this without sending it back?
Thanks in advance
Fixed it
I found a way to recover, but you must have a custom recovery.
Use the button shortcut for force reset. It will take you to recovery. From there you can restore or reinstall a rom.
Hey guys
Samsung Galaxy Mini 5570 is a pretty old device now and definitely not worth to talk about, but It's for my aunt and she said i HAVE to fix it otherwise she will kick my butt.
This is the whole story:
Phone was running a very low android version (it was 2.1 or something) that i could barely install apps on it (Just installed WhatsApp), I decided to upgrade it to a higher version so i could install other applications like Line and Telegram for her, so basically i had to flash CWM file first because it was required, I flashed it using this link:
http://www.droidthunder.com/root-install-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-samsung-galaxy-minipop-gt-s5570/
They said flash the cwm file and factory reset your phone but i flashed the cwm file and rebooted my phone without factory reset, everything was working fine :good: but i decided to follow the instruction so i rebooted into the recovery mode and factory reseted my phone (by my phone i mean her phone, but i'm gonna say my phone instead) and guess what, it never booted up again. stuck on Samsung logo.
But i could go into the download and recovery mode, so basically i followed this instruction:
http://www.droidthunder.com/update-samsung-galaxy-minipop-gt-s5570-android-4-2-1-cyanogenmod-10-1/
which is from the same guy, I flashed it using recovery mode and flashed gapps too, everything went normal without any errors. So i rebooted my phone and ............
a black screen poped up, I was really worried because i couldn't boot my phone, nor could i go into the recovery or download mode. I don't know if i could or not but the only thing I'm getting right now is a black screen or a backlight.
The only thing that seems to be working is when i hold Power+Volume UP button, my laptop can detect my phone (as Samsung CDMA Technologies) but can not flash anything using Odin, it stucks on "setup connection" message. Nothing else is working, I tried:
Home+power+volume down
Home+power+volume down+volume up
Power+volume down
Power+home
etc
I also tried a hundred different ways like completely uninstalling the drivers (with or without kies) pulling battery out, try those key combination while battery is out and reinsert battery while holding them but nothing is working.
I found this article yesterday which is for unbricking the hard bricked phones, but ADB can not detect my phone:
http://www.engineerthink.com/blog/2015/11/how-to-unbrick-hard-bricked-android-phone/
Please help me guys, And do not suggest me to take it in Customer Service because i would if i could.
Thanks in advance
Recently I was running Prometheus custom rom, until it started actin funny, so I attempted to reflash cause the phone was getting slow over time. Tried reflashing but it didn't work. Tried other custom roms but each and every one of them kept saying * such n such isn't responding... System UI isn't responding, etc* unbearably slow, I no longer had landscape, sound, and the flashlight didn't work.
re-flashed the h81120N kdz with lg up tool, and the phone initially wouldn't even start, had to re flash 3 times before my phone said I had some upgrades... so it upgraded me to h81120p. Phone ran like a charm and I got all functionality back.
I attempted to at least re root h81120p, it initially worked then the next day I take phone off standby, and it turns off and wont boot past the LG logo screen. if it does the screen goes black. I put the phone in download mode and run lgup, and reflash with a stock h81120p kdz.. sh1t still doesnt work, tried again, sh1t still wont work. ' ventually, phone stopped staying in download mode, and when it does finally get there, LGup no longer recognizes its plugged in * please connect handset*. TF? computer only recognizes "Qualcomm HS-USb QDLoader etc.." under "ports"
Did some googling and was linked to LG flash tool and to a site on here for a .tot restore, which linked to some Vietnamese site I cant read, and one you have to pay premium vip in order to download the file, file seems to not exist anywhere else on the net.
so here I am... Phone barely stays in download mode, when in download mode, ( after multiple attempts of removing usb cable and battery, holding up on the phone while trying different combos of plugging in phone/ cable)LGUP doesnt recognize it, phone does not boot past the Lg logo , a factory reset does nothing.
first my laptop fails, now my phone is gone. wtf? can anyone help?
Hallo, yesterday my phone kinda got laggy so i thought to my self hmm why not flash a new firmware. Aftewards i said to my self, why not go even further and flash lingeageos 16 and thats when it starts going down. The phone would crash or black screen (volume and power key still work and show their UI on the screen) while the rest of the screen was black. I panicked and quickly wiped everything system, internal storage and all that via TWRP recovery. Now i face a even bigger problem. I cant flash anything onto my phone. The Flashtool requires some drives which i installed as the program instructed but with no great result. I put the device in flash mode by holding volume up key and putting the usb cable into the phone and still nothing i can do. I tried various tools to convert the FTF firmware into zip so i can flash it with TWRP that luckily still works. If i try to flash anything i get the error: 7 or bootloop/stock on loading screen. What should i do?
UPDATE: I flashed a stock rom via newflasher, so for anyone in situation like me, where they phone is a very essential part of they everyday life and everyday responsibilties. Then i recoomend this guid for you, it says everything you need to know when you are in a situation where nothing works: https://www.xperiablog.net/2018/01/...-firmware-for-xperia-xz-premium-xz1-and-more/
