Hi, I am Tobi from London, UK. I am setting up a new development team for a mobile application platform connecting individuals to services. Currently I am looking for Apple developers to embark on this project. This is the first time I am using this forum to source developers but I was advised by a close friend. I have no expectations on who to work with. I am more focused on developing a useful business for the community outside.
About me
I have successfully developed a game application with a few friends at a young age which we sold for not so muchh but it helped pay my studies. i attend a lot of tech expo's. It is impossible not to get inspired with what is taking place.
I left the app creation world for a while but now I would like to create something different to help make some of our lives easier. As apps are do.
I would love to here from you. What you enjoy building? What are you passionate about outside of here? And who you would be one person you would want as a team mate?
Thanks for reading.

Hello,
My name is Lancey David. Im the senior designer for G.G.G. (GoGetGadget.com). Our team are currently creating a technology news site similar to Slashgear.com and Gizmodo.com and looking for people who may be interested in joining our team. We are currently in development stage and looking for people who may be interested in joining a community and or help post news and or find information out on the web about new developments in the technology world. If interested reply, or message me.
Hello Lancey!
I'm a web design student. If you need any kind of help, feel free to email me. I'd be particularly interested in writing technology tips and tutorials (like I already do on my own blog).
Also, you should put a theme on that blog. Start with something free and buy a unique one whenever you make money from it.
hey,
the blog in which you see now is only temp. Matter of fact we are not touching that specific template at all. its just there for technical use. I will be emailing you tho, thanks!
Hey all,
I've been an XDA member for a little while now and love the work that comes out of here. This year I'm working with Mozilla and the Open Video Alliance to put on the 3rd annual Open Video Conference.
In addition to a lot of great open web and open source projects this year we are offering a Jailbreak Station. It will be a place where attendees can bring their iOS device, have it jailbroken and learn the benefits and risks of having a jailbroken device.
We're looking for volunteers who are hack savy and experienced to volunteer to operate this jailbreaking station.
Benefits of Volunteering:
1. Free OVC T-Shirt
2. Free food!
3. Complimentary registration
4. A chance to network (lots of great industry folks at this event)
5. Be a part of the team and help spread the word on open source, hacking and being a more informed consumer
Supporters of this year include New York Law School, Zencoder, Mozilla and we're pleased to announce that Google has recently joined as a supporter. Many, many more commercial and non-commercial companies/orgs will be represented here too.
We need you! If you're interested please PM me Mod edit: removed email
This does not belong here. Try i-phone developers.
Hello guys! So basically I'm opening this thread to(hopefully) gather some advice, feedback(criticism is welcome) and ideas on my Project Work for Cambridge A Levels(equivalent of SATs) this year.
Just a brief description, Project Work is a learning experience which aims to provide candidates with the opportunity to synthesise knowledge from various areas of learning, and critically and creatively apply it to real life situations. This process, which enhances candidates' knowledge and enables them to acquire skills like collaboration, communication and independent learning, prepares them for lifelong learning and the challenges ahead.

I'm a Singaporean student studying in Singapore, so this is set in a Singaporean context. Hey, any fellow Singaporeans out there? Give me a heads up! :highfive:
This year's themes are Access and Choice. I plan to do a project pertaining to Access. My project is to solve a lack of easy access to a recognised, public platform to showcase talent.
I believe that there are plenty of talented people in Singapore, but there are barriers inhibiting them from fully developing their talents. One of this barriers is the lack of easy access to a platform for them to showcase their talent in a way such that they will gain recognition from the public, should they deserve it. My vision for this platform is to allow users to showcase their talents, and as such gain more recognition from the public and have greater chance to gain the attention of recruitment agents etc, thus presenting to them the opportunity to further develop their talents(which are usually also their passions) into careers.
The goal of this project to to create a public web platform to allow people to showcase their talents(singing, art, design, photography, writing etc).
The website will be powered by a Wordpress CMS (see where I'm going?), with some built-in internal social networking features, and will feature deep integration with existing Social Media like Facebook etc. Users will be allowed to register, post and comment on other user's works etc. And of course, there will be a moderation platform.
So.... opinions?
If you want to make a platform accessible to the general public so they can judge the talents of members, a website is only a small stepping-stone. You need to come up with something much larger. Or you can simply make the public aware of your website through advertisement. And how do you intend to showcase members' talent on the website? Short clips would be the most efficient means of doing so.
I didn't quite understand the moderation platform bit. What are they going to do?
CIE A Levels you say? I have my O Levels coming up in 2015. If it isn't too much of a hassle, can you give me a brief, yet as accurate as possible, idea of the O Levels via PM? Also if you have the Math and English papers and mark schemes, could you send them to me? Hope it's not too much to ask.
Good luck with your project and your A Level Examinations.

Hello from France !
I'm a high school student, 17yo. I'm passionate about tech stuff (programming, electronics and many other things) i also love photography, biology.
I joined XDA because I've seen so many tutorials for unlocking android devices : sometimes, i go to my computer club and there is many people that ask me to repair phones, tablets, install lineagos ect. I tried to discover the forum more further and i was happy to found a great, (really) helpful community behind the forum. This time, l’m trying to reverse engineering an android TV box from my ISP. I don't know where to be helped (which topic category ?). Thanks for everyone who replies to questions like me in this forum, your time is precious and this is a big gift to share your knowledge to other people. That's one of the best way to make the world better.
Happy New Year
With kindest regards
Welcome to XDA Forum. Hope you enjoy be in here
