Gionee Elife S5.1 CMW Recovery ... Compatibility???

I Found CMW Recovery from Chinese Forum to Gionee Elife S5.1... i don't know if everyone here knows about re-branding process to be better look on specific markets... IF Anyone can check if it works... i don't have the phone =/

TWR and ROOT
TWRP 2.8.5.0 for Gionee 5.1 works correctly. TWR must be transferred to SD0 and installed via Mobileuncle Tools. Of course, the phone must have ROOT. ROOT easiest way to do iROOT program.

i have bought my Blu Vivo Air Today... on Next Few days it will arrive to me =D ( i Paid 800 R$ BR -> + - 256 U$ )

The Chinese cwm works for me on my gionee elife s5.1. I have not been able to successfully flash twrp. Tried mobileuncle tools, fastboot and "dd" in android terminal. After flashing twrp reboot to recovery boots into fastboot...
I'm happy at least the Chinese cwm is working now and I've been able to install gapps.
Will keep playing with it to see if I can get twrp installed...

please translate english, how is choice...

how to install custome recovery in lenovo k3 note (Marshmallow)

I update my phone from lollipop to Marshmallow.
Now I try many times to install TWRP recovery with many different versions but it can't work and boot... Please give me solution for this.. model no. Is Lenovo k50a30.

I think your model number is k50a40. Follow this guide for flash TWRP recovery.

I've installed the latest stable firmware by SP Flash (K50-T5_USR_ST1614_5.294.1_1604011150_mp1V2.39_CN) but now I was reading about that the Marshmallow roms need to be flashed with patched boot image for custom recoveries. I've just found S422_Patched_boot.img (I hope that file is all what I need). Could sb explain me how to do this?? The next move will be gapps/root and finally try to fix IMEI on my yellow but I am stuck...

I don't know flashing patched boot.img is required to flash custom recovery. I flashed custom recovery directly without flashing patched boot image and it working well.

OK I did it. If u have K30-T5 (MarshalRom 6.0) it will works. Instruction below.
1. Copie K50-T5_PATCHED_BOOT_1621_DEV.RAR file to your device
2 Flash TWRP 3.x via SP Flash
3. Enter to the installed Recovery Mode
4. Choose instal that file what I've wrote above
5. Swipe to confirm Flash
6. Reboot system
I want to fix my IMEI now. I'd like to use SN Writer but I don't know which file MD1DB, and APDB should I select on Marshmallow.

Dead after rebranding

so as i said i used HWOTA script to rebrand my vtr-l09 to l29 ( dual sim ) the update get to 100%100 and now i ve got a black screen and only fastboot i ve tried to flash update.app img thru fastboot nothing :/ even sd card update nothing ... is there a way to unbrick it or it's dead ana gone ?

Would be interesting to know how you tried to rebrand / which guide you used. Did you try this unbrick guide?

@motsor Bro. give us more details, OS version, method that you used, the error that you get.
If you can enter into fastboot, then there's a lot of hope!
I remember when I rebranded my phone, it was stuck on copying oem info (cmd) so I disconnected my phone and rebooted, I don't remember if it booted or not, but I remember that the rebranded was successful (I don't know why it was stuck at cmd) but I needed to reflash my firmware in order to get it working again.

i used this script to rebrand ( script is made by XDA mankindtw ) it was succesfull
now i can only acces fastboot with black screen i 've an unlocked bootloader

But you are not giving us the details that we need xD
Os version, which OEM info you changed, if FRP is unlocked...
Follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/huawei-p10-debrand-rebrand-update-guide-t3691013 the most probable thing is that you need to update your firmware (if you flashed the C432 oeminfo, you'll need to download the latest update of that firmware)

I'm stuck at one screen and can't get into twrp mode no matter what. Any suggestion?

I followed everything correctly, but I have no idea how to get into recovery mode.
Unlocked Bootloader, Enable OEM unlock, Enable USB debugging, flash TWRP and after that I have no idea how to get into recovery. Should I flash a mobile to stock?

Which EMUI version is installed?
Do you used the correct TWRP for your version (Nougat or Oreo)?
Did you flash it manually? If not try it with command:
"fastboot flash recovery PATH/TO/TWRP.IMG" for Nougat
"fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk PATH/TO/TWRP.IMG" for Oreo.
When starting TWRP the USB cable needs to be disconnected!

Also I forgot to say that my EMUI on phone is 5.1, so to use unlock code I pressed "Since EMUI 5.0".
Can you link me correct version for my phone?
The phone now works. It's booted to normal, but I can't get it work into recovery mode to access TWRP mode >.<

I can't provide any support for P10 Lite because I don't know if there are differences to P10 VTR.
Please post your issue here because this forum is only for P10 VTR.

Hey all!
I briefly search around on the main thread for this tool and found someone had bricked their 7t pro using this software... Has anyone had better results? Don't want to brick my phone on the first go!

[14/02/2021] The tool was just updated to v.2.0.1.4. However, I have not tried it as of yet.

Only with this application I was able to run EDL and properly connect and start MSM Tool when my op7tp crashed. No other fastboot and adb methods worked.
