[Q] Why there is no news about micromax canvas turbo's update's?

Hi I am new to xda and I have a question that if I search in google about the update of micromax phone (Canvas turbo) to kikat I see that the update arrival month are like april,may.But,now it is October.Will Micromax give any update ? And I have a canvas turbo.

[Need] ROM XT1069 BRAZIL

Does anyone here have the ROM to xt1069 RETAIL BR 21-85.24 ? Or the OTA file 21-85.24 RETBR ?

I did not find in google and in any other forum the KBX21-84.24 version and nowhere , so I came to XDA , I'm not ignorant.

Yes there is, you can use ofline flashing tool and with that you can also flash any available KDZ file that is actually compressed image of FW for the phone .
Her you can see FW-s available for your phone, just enter your IMEI number http://lg-firmware-rom.com

ok but my is a d405n italian... if i check in that site, will i have the lollipop FW? is your l90 a single or a dual sim?
which one is your firmware? my latest available firmware is D40510D_00

Eventually it will show there, my is D410 dual and i have updated it to lollipop.
Also you can check in your phone in update center, settings-about phone. however OTA update will not work if you have root-ed your phone but for upgrading you can still use LGMobile Support Tool with computer.
For your version there still are no any info just that next to get update is D415.

Use LGMobile Support to do upgrade , it will tell that you there is update and then it will do it.
But before you update to Lollipop would someone of you mind help me with something?

The lg software doesn't say anything for my phone. No update. Is there a way to force the update?

Just downloaded lollipop to my 405d. Just wanted to let everyone know. Now i am going to find out all there is to know......

I doubt it. i once used a russian samsung rom (official) only difference between dutch or english is that
once you've hard reset your device, the default language was russian. just change it
but if you can, just download your version, better save then sorry

installed update, works fine except for one thing (could be me) usb debugging is turned on but not recognized (used 2 pc's) so no root, custom recovery yet.....
tried a fresh pc, works now, used dp tools for rooting

Android 5.2rom extraction

Some one should extract the the full android m rom for micromax canvas a1 on its release so that one with unlocked boot loader can install

Maybe Android M will be released for Nexus by September.
So we may not be getting for our phones.
They had promised us to provide us all updates for 1 complete year and they did
What else can we expect for our phones??
But it may be available for Android 2nd Generation.. I don't know

You are right and wrong?
Yes android one was released way back on back end of 2014 , official updates were promised for 18 months.
But android one was released later on with 5.1 in Philippines and other countries.Lot of these variants are sprout8 as we know it.So I think google has to complete its promise of updates for at least sprout8 variants which uses same configuration just different internal memories. So android M should be available regardless of google releases it for sprout4 or not.
