I've been running the stock Lollipop build (Android 5.02, 39A) for a long time now. I see there isn't much activity on these forums, have people moved on to other phones? Are there any newer rom's I should try, that are 100% stable with no issues? (this is the main reason I stopped trying AOSP roms).
Is there any hope of M coming to our phone?

I won't ask which rom is better because that is an insult to the other developers plus I understand that it is a thing of personal taste. I want to install a custom rom on my Note but I am looking for one that is Lollipop base and has private mode and Wi-Fi calling working. Is there such a rom?
Not right now. You'll have to wait for T-Mobile to release official Lollipop with those features.
TMO's Wifi calling is exclusive to the US version. Since that update had not yet been released, you won't find any Lollipop ROMs with that feature. I suspect there will be a mad dash to customize the ROM once it is released, but it's anyone's guess when that will happen.
Thanks for the replies.
I really want android 6.0 on my htc, is there anyway thanks

Android 6.0 isn't even fully deployed to nexus devices yet, you'll have to be much more patient . We will probably see 6.0 CM or AOSP roms relatively soon. I'm not expecting any 6.0 rom based on HTC Sense UI. CM13 development started about 10 days ago btw.

Custom Roms
As I am sure you know of by now. There are some unofficial cm13 roms on XDA threads that will bring Marshmallow on the Htc One m7 for both GSM and verizon/sprint variants. As per usual these roms are in early stages so bugs are expected. Overall the roms I have tested work smoothly and features like doze, app permissions are present. Bugs like FC on camera while taking pictures and phone restarting when plugging headphones do annoy me a lot and thus I went back to stable 5.1 roms. You could try the marshmallow roms out of curiosity like I did, but you probably should wait if you want to use them as a daily driver for your phone.
Hello
I've didn't heard anything
VanirAOSP
I recommend the VanirAOSP ROMs. They're usually among the first to make builds of new versions of Android, and they do a great job of doing it in a timely manner while having a grasp on stability. As of their latest nightlies, the only bug on their Marshmallow builds is that the camera app force closes when you launch the camcorder app, but this is a bug with all Marshmallow ROMs. A big plus with Vanir is that they do support all M7 variants, which as a Sprint user myself, is fantastic.
I hope you enjoy it, and Happy Holidays!

Is it possible to change the 'sony stock' + 'marshmallow'
+ 'custom(like Rockz1l)' + 'porting(z5, X series... Whatever)' rom
in the future?
Sorry for bad Eng.
I wish it is possible.

No, because you need Marshmallow sources from Sony, which they'll never release.
Z1 is done and obsolete. If you really want the latest Android version, download the unofficial CM/AOSP Marshmallow ROMs; otherwise, buy a new phone. Although CM/AOSP MM build has been released a while ago, they're still full of issues (camera is bad, low battery life, etc.). They're still under active development, so things may change in the future. I recommend staying with Lollipop because it's stable and has excellent battery life.

People had success with porting Sense 6 to hammerhead, and it's surprisingly usable with some issues considering it's a non-source port for an entirely different device.
Porting a proprietary ROM is a pain as it mostly involves trial-and-error to find out what's preventing the ROM from booting up but we will see if a similar project appear for the Z1
I'm on pj2 running twizted rom currently. Can you run the latest cm 14 based roms somehow? Just saw these on the international forums and really want to try these out but curious if anyone else has or has any advice for running something besides the touchwiz roms?

In the Verizon Note 4 thread, a developer made a multi-variant CM 14.1 ROM. I went through the thread thoroughly and found that someone who has the T-Mobile variant and is on PJ2 has this ROM running without issue. It is getting updated frequently. I tried it once but went back to stock as I need my phone for work... Since I'm taking a little over a week off, I'm going to be trying this again since I have more time to get things setup the way I want them to be.

Hi Folks, my buddy has an HTC One M7 for Sprint and is looking to get into custom ROM's for the first time. I'll help him with getting it installed.
I'm unfamiliar with development for M7 and hoping someone can recommend a custom ROM that has everything working properly and as few bugs as possible.
Not too concerned with Android version or anything other than "it works great".
Just as long as phone calling, camera, texting, wifi, etc. etc. all work without trouble.
Suggestions?
EDIT:
Looks like custom Nougat ROM's are all reported to have some form of bluetooth issues.
So with Oreo too new, I'm looking for Lollipop or Marshmallow it seems.
