Pure AOSP for a5ultexx
Features
- No T-mobile theme engine or Layers, It is just stock AOSP.
- No .dat features

My codebase is uploading.
GPL stuff:
Kernel used can be found here (Uploading :<)
Extended Information
I created this for firmware developers, It is for forking stock firmware such as MIUI.
If people choose to use this to port MIUI I obviously cannot stop them, but blah blah, beta software, blah.
This firmware uses the structure everyone loved in KitKat; I will not force anyone to deal with the .dat nonsense that we've all come to know and hate.
The codebase aligns very closely to what Xiaomi uses, and this code-base also aligns with many other vendor firmware.
Thx to: Datagutt, Heheda; co-maintainers :<
Thx to: Firmware developers, the source builders for this device
thank you for your work

There shouldn't be a lot of same Roms, you could have build Omni Rom or Resurrection Remix or port Miui that's could have been nice

Oh that qualcom time bug is present here too and i am stuck at checking connection, this can take up to 2 minutes, been waiting 10, cant skip. Oh nevermind, it skipped.
2. another problem, at start settings, it wont restore apps, even if i say skip, it says restoring, even if i picked new device,... idk what the hell its restoring.... It stopped restoring and rom runs now, still dont know what it restored
3. No sound when calling, so kinda useless, cant use it as a daily driver

If you looked at the format of the ROM It's pretty clear it's intended to port MIUI.

There is no RR ROM above. It was a user asking for someone to build it, which as I pointed out isn't the point of this thread. A few have built RR but it isn't booting and until those with the time and knowledge to debug it, it's a no go.

Was having trouble with phone calls on AICP, but was loving everything else about it. I'm guessing it may have something to do with GMS as I had to insert APNs for Cricket to get data going. Otherwise, everything was awesome. Never have used DU, but am on RR right now. Thanks for all devs on this phone for making it more fun and customizable.

Just switched to Cricket yesterday, actually. good to know. I used RR back on my s3, so maybe I'll give that a shot. AOKP just isn't exactly what I want these days. Super glad to see this phone seeing some developer attention. One day, I'll find the time to start learning some of this myself.

Good afternoon, I have compiled roms for the KLTE model, unfortunately I do not have that device, so I have not been able to test if the roms are functional, for now only AOSCP works (thanks to @S5AndroidUser for testing the rom) I would like to know if anyone can try The others and tell me if they work. So i start to compile more roms for you
Downloading. Will Report back later
what about aospa (ParanoidAndroid)
thank you
Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated, but even when I do not have the device, when I confirm that roms work I will create the respective thread, now I am compiling XOSP rom

AOKP and DU are the same thing there isn't enough of a difference between the two where you could tell
most of the 7.1.2 roms are fuctionally identical anyway

True.
thats another reason why i tend to go back to some 6.0.1 roms just to have something different since most if not all nougat roms are oretty much the same with very little difference.
So far ViperOS caught my interest since it has a color engine built in that way i dont even have to use substrattum , and i wasted 2.00$ on a theme sadly i had no clue that ViperOS would come around to the S5 , now theres a chance that he might even build PA as well, which im asking myself if ViperOS is somewhat based of PA since i think those are the only 2 N roms that have a built in system-wide color engine.
Can nitrogen os be built for klte ?
It would be great if you build aosip and aosp extended
Currently running you're aoscp everything running good

no thats not how it works there is NO pure ASOP/CAF for the klte period never will be
every single rom has a fair chunk of cm/los commits because there is no official ASOP/CAF device for the klte
when it comes down to it you are talking about a naming convention nothing more
I have benchmarked probly 15 roms on my klte so long as the kernel is setup the same way they all score within 100pts of eachother
the biggest thing on the klte is that the stock LOS kernel blows in my book

Yeah, in klte case you are right. But this are semantic subtleties. Since nougat there are actually hardly any differences. The only ones are taste differences. As lollipop was still officially supported by DU, there were actually CAF parts in the DU-Kernel.
I did not want to take over the thread and start any discussion. It was requested to tell wishes. I can not compile it myself. So I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity.

Extras:

su removal (arm)
Important notes:
Why does the initial boot take so long?!
- I had to sacrifice dexpreopt because of wifi issues while it was enabled. This can result in pretty long initial boots or upgrade boots, and dexpreopt might run during the first time setup wizard as well, slowing down the system for an additional couple minutes. I also suggest to wait some minutes before running the SetupWizard if you use Gapps.
My RIL doesn't work, i don't get mobile data!
Sorry guys, some of you tried to force me to release Nougat Roms (and here we are) even if i haven't solved known bugs like RIL issues. Source is open for everyone, feel free to fix it yourself.

Perhaps you didn't noticed, but besides your grateful expression there's another that can be interpreted as a complain to the project, and thus to the dev. Please, don't stress the situation any more, the only thing stopping you to upgrade to 14 is your lack of knowledge to fix the issue, it's not Andi's fault, he is doing nothing but progress here, maybe you could make some too.

Awesome work, all works fine, camera works but the image is rotated to right but nevermind because I not use the camera in my Tab, thanks for the N ROMs
Don't let that idiot ruin your day Andi, you have powered my Tab 2 since KitKat if I remember correctly and I really appreciate it. I had a Nexus 5, and now a Redmi Note 3 but I still keep my Tab 2 for media purposes. It feels so good that my old device is still kicking and rocking Nougat and some newer devices are still on marshmallow. Thank you Andi.
I've never seen a developer like you even on the Nexus 5 thread or the Redmi Note 3.
@Android-Andi john99ap and me found a bug in custom builds of nougat that make it unusable. The custom builds of nougat will be smooth as butter one sec and super slow the next.
@theportal2 without logs I don't look into anything. Also detailed information are a must have.
@Android-Andi how would I do logcats, plus what I think is the cause of this bug is a mix of reboots with bad caches cause when I rebooted it started happening and when i cleared the caches the slowness was fix temporary.

It very depended on kernel, i/o scheduler, governor,...
Our phone have Intel "Atom" processor, so speed and stability would not cause us worried. The thing we should pay attention is battery. Because Intel CPUs are battery hungry.
You are very especial

Hi everyone,
I'm working on compiling Lineage to bring back support from Lineage.
I'm quite near to a stable device tree, and I think that within a week, I'll be able to start mantaining this device for Lineage.

Hi,
Are you talking about 14.1 or 15.1?
If it's 14.1, why not release a build here so that people can test & give you feedback, regardless of official or unofficial status?
Also, I have been in this community for a long time but I've never come across a bug in the flash. What bug was it, which you fixed in the device trees?

Most of the roms here are AOSP based, here's one that is CAF based. I'm not part of the dev team, this is an unofficial build, cannot really give much support, I can only promise a new build whenever there's a change in the sources.
Ingredients used:
1. Device tree: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/device_oneplus_enchilada
2. sdm845-common: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_oneplus_sdm845-common
3. kernel: https://github.com/0ctobot/neutrino_kernel_oneplus_sdm845
4. Vendor blobs: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/vendor_oneplus_sdm845-common
ROM sources on github: https://github.com/RevengeOS
Telegram: https://t.me/itsrevengeos
Download link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1899786940962574366
Installation as usual for OP6:
1. Flash ROM zip in TWRP
2. Flash TWRP zip
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Flash opengapps + (optional) Magisk.
5. Reboot to system
Tested on my own decrypted OP6.
(The notification slider IS now working thanks to @anirudhgupta109)

About Use
Is anyone already testing? Is there something that is not working? Is it stable for day use? How are the battery, performance and other things?

I forgot to mention - the slider is not working (I'll add it now to the OP)
(I only share my builds when i'm certain they are fit for daily use, with all the main parts working - camera/wifi/cell/gps)

Shared 'XPerience' already...FredOS is next probably but it isnt quite polished enough yet...I have even AOSPA but it is pretty much 'bare metal', no additional settings...been building Citrus for 3-4 months but cannot get a bootable build
Mostly, roms nobody has heard of but they are caf based and, in theory, caf based roms should have superior performance. Jusdging by the performance of a game I play, I'd say the theory holds.
Hi,
thanks for rom excellent work. But ldac working on the rom ?

You could try this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/development/rom-unofficial-ressurection-remix-t3892779
He mainly builds/supports the OP6T, but has also builds for the OP6. Download:
http://luis-builds.de/downloads/lineageos/rr/oneplus6//
I only tested it for a short time. Works good, but it has no benefits and doesn't feel that polished compared to Liquid Remix in my opinion

That's strange, on my own op6 the slider doesnt work
As for the Atomic, if you mean this https://github.com/Atomic-OS, it seems abandoned, not updated since feb.8.

ok, here are some older builds:
FredOS: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397930216 (gapps not working and i think the power menu, i forgot)
PrismaOS: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397933749
For PrismaOS, i was following their telegram group, i think they'll abandon the project so i guess there won't be any updates. FredOS is very much active, the gapps problem isnt yet solved, i'll make a new thread when it is ready to be a daily driver.
I can share a build of AOSPA, too. I think there was an official beta build, i dodnt know if there is any recent build.
