ive tried to fix it in ways
(1)
boot it on without SIM
same consequence, cant slide to unlock to the table
(2)
with SIM card
go to fastboot mode and wait until it shut down
boot it on and the same consequence as well
(3)
without SIM card
go to fastboot mode and wait until it shut down
boot it on and it work!!!
slide to unlock and put in my SIM card
everything works
by the way
ive tried to wipe in recovery mode but remained the same
Is it the problem that i put in NON-Verizon SIM card?

SU4TL-44
Thx for reading my post and sorry for my poor English again
MOTO Droid turbo is an awesome phone

so im no expert here but if you can put in the official VZW sim and see if that does anything if you can boot into the phone without the sim its a issue with that sim card if you have verizon id suggest calling them idk if you actually need the sim also if you can get into the phone then put the sim back in and you dont get that lock screen again go into settings >More>cellular networks and see if it allows you to change anything id look at preferred network type you have three options Global, LTE/CDMA and LTE/GSM/UMTS mine is on global so try that out and let me know worst case ill look into it for you you may need the unlock code for the phone or something i dont really know

well
i download the latest VRZand flash through mfastboot manaully
it works

All good

3 sim on wm5 blue angel help plz

okay so i have a blue angel ph20b and its for telstra...well it was until i flashed it with the wmo5 rom
Helmi_WM2k5_AKU3.2_32mb_v1.3.2_16mb_bitpool_32mbRamdisk
that one to be precise.
anyway that thing has a folder in exrom/operators that is called
3-DUALBAND_ALL.sa
now i put that on the storage folder in the phone and ran it. it said it installed it n yeah watev. now i've been using a 3 sim in this device for ages, just its an inactive sim i only put it in so the device works n like its phone mode is off.
now i have another sim i put into this that is active, like i use this in a seperate phone, i put it in the blue angel in the hopes it'll let me turn phone mode on and use it as a phone.
well after installing that file above i tried it and....well nothings changes, i still cant turn on phone mode and use it as a phone.
can anybody advise me on how to, if its possible, get my blue angel to actively use this 3 simcard (as in 3/hutchinson the 3g network).
I have no idea if this device is network locked either, i.e locked to telstra, wen i try to unlock it with itsme's tool (just incase it is locked) i experience an error.
so yeah thats about all i know, all help is much appreciated
thankx (btw i love this forum and all the contributers you guys rule! if i wasnt so stupid with this stuff i'de help lol)
Its a known prob...
Check out the posts in the forum mate.. The Phone pin screen does not switch sometimes properly..
Just go to the menubar at the top, hit the phone icon with the X, hit settings, and then a pin screen will pop up!
Enter the pin and away you go.
(Actually... i removed the pin number from my sim card, coz it got a bit annoying after a while!)
greetz..

If it's a H3GUK SIM it WILL NOT work in the BA - end of story.
H3GUK make it so that their SIMs will ONLY work in 3G phones (otherwise the phone would roam onto O2/Orange and cost 3 money). Only the older SIMs work in 2G phones, and if 3 catch you they disable the sim and send you a nice, new, 3G only sim.
ohh damn 3 Grrr i knew i shudnt have gotten their damn plans now i'm stuck for another 16 months or so omfgg *cries*
thanx for reply though, now i can stop trying lol
What I said is definately true for H3GUK. I'm not sure whats H3G's policies are in other countries though.

Can you not just boot up with no sim installed? I've done that before, it works OK as far as I remember.

[Q] Help Unlocking rooted Exhibit with custom ROM

I'm trying to unlock the Exhibit 4G this week for use on a trip abroad (and yes, it is legal to do so since this was a prepaid phone paid in full in 2012 so T-Mobile did email me the unlock code - all that is good). What I don't understand is why it is not prompting for the Unlock code at boot. T-Mobile says I must have another company's SIM card in the phone to unlock the Phone. So, I bought a Simple Mobile SIM and placed it in the phone but it just boots up to the ROM as normal without asking for the unlock code. I am using the Linaro 4.2 rom (which is amazing btw!) but I also tried with Peach Sunrise 3.0 and Cyanogen 10 - nothing but a normal boot with no phone capabilities. So I have these questions: Do I actually need to pay for SimpleMobile service first to get the phone to recognize the SIM as different and ask to unlock? (seems unlikely) - Is Simple Mobile just not a good SIM to use for unlocking this phone... Or do I have to go back to stock ROM and unroot to unlock this? Of course if there are any other apps or shortcuts that will let me get straight to the unlock code prompt I'm all for it. Any help is greatly appreciated - not finding a lot of answers out there on the net and if it is on this forum I apologize for not finding it and would appreciate a link to it - Thx!
You probably need a different sim card. As I understand it, T-Mobile phones don't need to be unlocked to work on Simple Mobile.

Thx - it figures I would choose that one to buy!
Meekrawb is right, simple mobile uses the T-Mobile network.

To get your IMEI go to your cell phone and enter *#06# This will give you a string of numbers you will need to unlock your cell phone. Enter *#06# as if you are going to make a call. Then you will be given the string of numbers you will need.

After you obtain your IMEI and copy it on a piece of paper, power your cell phone off. Take the back off if you have a removable back. Take the SIM card out. Put a BLANK SIM card in its place. Power the cell phone on. A screen should come up asking for your IMEI number to be entered. It should look like a rectangular box. Enter you IMEI. There should be a small box under the rectanglar box that you press. The phone should then eventally unlock itself. You can test it by putting a different SIM card in your cell phone.

[Q] Anyone else have this issue getting the no service icon?

I bought the unlocked GSM Moto X that is rooted and has the bootloader unlocked. ROM is stock 4.4 Kitkat Every time after I shut the phone off, it doesn't have any service when it turns back on. I usually have to shut it off and turn it on a few times and mess with the SIM card. Also, the wi-fi won't turn on, either. It just gets stuck on the 'turning on' message but never actually turns on. It kind of seems like the phone just gets stuck in airplane mode and won't come out of it or something.
The biggest potential problem is that I cut a micro SIM card down to a nano SIM to fit in the Moto X. I use my phone on Straight Talk and they don't have a nano SIM yet. But I don't think the cut SIM card is the issue. The phone came with some T-Mobile SIM card. Even though it doesn't have any service from T-Mobile associated with it, when I put the T-Mobile SIM in, it will show that there is service and wi-fi will work. However, after the phone shuts off and I put the T-Mobile SIM in, it still says no service. Plus, the my cut Straight Talk SIM works perfectly fine until the phone shuts off.
Even though it would make sense that cutting my SIM card would cause this problem, I really don't think that's the case. It seems like it's more of a software issue at this point. Does anyone else have this problem or have any insight?

Consider installing the T-Mobile SIM, calling your carrier, asking to activate a new cell phone, and read them the SIM number (it's also on the box's label).

The problem is that I unlocked the booloader and voided my warranty. So there will be no new phone for me. Plus, I bought it straight from Motorola through the Moto Maker

[Q] 4g activation (region specific - colombia)

hey people, id would very much appreciate of someone could help me with this issue.
here is the deal:
i have moto X from CLARO (Colombia), on KK 4.4.2 (t-mobile firmware - SO NOT STOCK CLARO FIRMWARE)) , unlocked bootloader, rooted (soon with a non stock kernel). today i got in the mail a new 4g sim card (yay!!! 4g finally came to colombia what evs...). THE PROBLEM IS THE SIM CARD IS NOT ACTIVATED YET, see, along with the sim card i got instructions detailing how i should go about activating the sim card, which basically goes something like this:
1. dial *611# (USSD code), press send and wait for the options to appear.
2. in the options menu, dial the number 9, which should say "Sim 4g" and press send.
3. next the system will prompt you to enter the serial number of you new 4g sim card.
4.type in the 17 digit number of your sim card that's located in the bar code (this is on the plastic card that the sim card came in) and press send.
5. a message will appear telling you that the change has been done successfully, wait a couple of minutes until you have no signal on your current sim card and the switch to your 4g sim card.
ACTUALLY THE REAL PROBLEM IS!: whenever i dial *611# i dont get the 4g option, my theory i that because i am not on claro's firmware i dont get that option (but i do get all other options), or it has something to do with kit kat?.
i guess my question would be:
- is there a way to activate a sim card that doesnt involve taking it in to my service provider? (considering i have an unlocked phone i no longer have warranty)
- has anyone anywhere gone trough something similar?
-any ideas on a possible solution?

[Q] ATIV S Neo (SPH-i800) Sprint SIM Unlock

Hey guys,
I am in Spain. I asked Sprint to SIM unlock my phone before I left and they said it worked but it did not. I bought a movistar SIM and all I get is 'no service.' Under Cellular+SIM options, it is in CDMA only mode and the option to change it is greyed out. I was in 8.1 so I flashed to 8.0.10328.78 and called Sprint. They want me to update my network profile to send the command to unlock it but it isn't working over WiFi.
The phone knows that the SIM is there, I can access the SIM applications, read the SIM ID and when I turn on the phone with it inserted it says 'switched to CDMA only.' So I think it is still SIM locked. Is there a way I can unlock it? I've never had to deal with this before.
No ideas? I need to know whether I should give up and try to return the plan I bought.

Can Sprint version Ativ S neo unlock ?
Agreed
Just adding to the overall knowledge base here.
I am experiencing the exact same problem.
1. I purchased my phone unlocked (though it was previously on Sprint). I have previously been able to use foreign SIM cards (in France), without issue.
2. At some point, I installed the Developer's Preview of WP8.1 and lost the ability to roam domestically or internationally.
3. I am now in Israel, and tried an Israeli SIM card, but it was on a GSM network. It connected to the network, but showed up as international roaming. Ooops, guess I need to fix that little WP8.1 Beta issue...
4. I decided to flash my phone back to WP8 GDR3, which seems to have un-unlocked my phone. Now when I plug my Israeli SIM card in, my phone automatically switches to CDMA mode.
5. However, if I pop a Sprint SIM card in, I have the ability to switch to Global Mode again.
I have the MSL, but I cannot figure out where I would enter it to get this to stop happening.
FYI.
I had a problem , I live in Ukraine , my phone was unlocked , but when I installed 8.0 my phone worked only in CDMA mode with a Sim card from my service , I updated to 8.1 again using the preview for developers and settings again appeared global regime.
