Guys the exynos version has got the android lollipop update today finally. Check the firmware section in sammobile website. They just uploaded the firmware for the country kazakhstan Android 5.0 G900HXXU1BOA7. I am downloading it currently It wont be long before other countries get the update. cheers guys.

I don't know, I had tried to flash a russian ROM and it failed, had to reinitialize via kies
I've flashed on my phone lots of roms with odin, the only time one failed was a Serbian ROM, but I thought it was because the download failed.
As soon as I finish downloading this I'll report if it works.

Exynos update is only available in one region, though it’s only a matter of time before the update becomes available to others either through Samsung Kies, an OTA or both methods. To check for the OTA, you can always head to Settings> System> About Device> Software Update.:thumbup::thumbup::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

hi i have downloaded the kazakstan firmware and i want to install it to s5 india..
my phone is not rooted
please tell me how can i install the firmware?
I am on my 3rd reinstall, first I upgraded via Odin on top of kitkat, and system was too slow, 2nd I rooted via auto root (It works btw) and apparently I deleted with Titaniun Backup something important and system refused to boot. 3rd reinstall I just rooted and deleted some bloatware and everything is working ok. This is Multilingual btw. overall not so fast no so slow, I use cm12 official nightly in another device and its just a bit slower. Used Sammobile link to get the file

Hi guys, i see that many people got the update but most of them are with 21.11.23... Did someone with 21.11.14 got the Lollipop update?

Same here. German retail, no update yet. I'm also thinking about installing a custom rom, especially now that PA is available for this phone. The RAM issues are so annoying that I don't know how much longer I'll be able to wait.

I was on 21.11.14 european retail and I already switched to 5.0.2 manually last Sunday.
Well, I have to say that the main difference is the memory managment. On Lollipop is way better, I absolutely confirm that :victory:

Sorry to say but the soak test, indian OTA capture , official Full firmware and currently rolling out OTA of lollipop 5.0.2 for XT1068 IS the same firmware.. LXB22.46-28 build date Jan 6th
Its just delivered by different ways and installed by different methods.
even the regional versions of XT1068 i.e retgb , retde and retbr etc will most probably have been based on this 5.0.2 RETAIL ALL firmware if they follow the same structure as 4.4.4 firmwares
HINT MOTOROLA i'm still waiting FOR UK (GB) version.
I'm currently looking at the Brazilian 5.0.2 xt1068 firmware to see what regional changes are applied compared to the RETAIL ALL 5.0.2 xt1068 firmware.
Having the 21.11.27 european retail really sucks ^^

Yes there is, you can use ofline flashing tool and with that you can also flash any available KDZ file that is actually compressed image of FW for the phone .
Her you can see FW-s available for your phone, just enter your IMEI number http://lg-firmware-rom.com

Eventually it will show there, my is D410 dual and i have updated it to lollipop.
Also you can check in your phone in update center, settings-about phone. however OTA update will not work if you have root-ed your phone but for upgrading you can still use LGMobile Support Tool with computer.
For your version there still are no any info just that next to get update is D415.

Use LGMobile Support to do upgrade , it will tell that you there is update and then it will do it.
But before you update to Lollipop would someone of you mind help me with something?
The lg software doesn't say anything for my phone. No update. Is there a way to force the update?

I doubt it. i once used a russian samsung rom (official) only difference between dutch or english is that
once you've hard reset your device, the default language was russian. just change it
but if you can, just download your version, better save then sorry
installed update, works fine except for one thing (could be me) usb debugging is turned on but not recognized (used 2 pc's) so no root, custom recovery yet.....
tried a fresh pc, works now, used dp tools for rooting
Hello from Australia, still on KitKat, the ISP's haven't even received Lollipop here and its not looking like we will get an update any time soon...
So i have been thinking about CM12.1.
From what it looks like, there are only nightlies available....
Is it worth getting on that?
Are they safe enough?
Are there any other methods of getting lollipop on my device as a daily driver?
How would i go about installing CM12.1 on the Xperia Z1?

Why don't you flash an official lollipop firmware? (from another carrier or a generic one). CM12.1 still have some bugs...
Search in "General" or "Android development" for stock lollipop "ftf" or "pre-rooted firmware" it's easy and safe to install

wouldnt one from another carrier (have to be a different country as the only 2 in australia dont have anything) not work with networks here? i have read in lots of places all the builds that people offer for the Z1 have issues with network and the camera. would all features work??

Here in Italy we can flash anything that is EURO-LTE... Just have a look for GLOBAL-LTE rom... I think it might actually work. If it doesn't, you aren't bricking nothing, just flash 4.4.4 ftf...
I also suggest you to use xperifirm to check and download the ftfs

Question is does Australia use LTE or 4G? Because I tried a LTE variant on my UK handset and it wouldn't work, I had to create my own pre-rooted rom to allow me to use 4G.

i believe they have both, it connects to the networks for calls and text but im not getting any data on 3g or 4g/lte?

dont try to flash any other region rom as it may cause bootloops.
you should report the band issue to honor website as they may release an ota to fix it

maybe cause, here in india honor 5x didnt had 850band, while reliance jio provided volte calls on that band, honor did provide an ota which enabled the band

Since it don't support b20 this means the radio modem in is different than the ones that support b20, it is hardware related unfortunately
I haven't received my Honor 5c NEM-AL10 3GB RAM 32 GB. I think I can live without LTE B20, but:
- Can the phone be switched into french language ?
- Is the Google PlayStore installed on it ?

I recently bought the NEM-AL10 3GB from fasttech (non-european shop)
I could change (most of) the language after a factory reset (Changing Android language did not change EMUI language before resetting). However, some of the pre-installed apps (browser etc.) cannot be uninstalled without root and remain (partly) in chinese.
One of those apps is the Huawei App Store... So no Play Store installed by default. But you can install the PlayStore additionally.
Up to now, I was not able to root the phone to uninstall the pre-installed chinese apps - let me know if there is a solution.

There is a detailed guide to unlock the bootloader, install recovery and root. Check it.

However, the Guide (from what Druger said and from my experience) seems to work only for the 16GB/2GB version, not for the 32/3GB.
At least, flashing custom recovery did not work as intended (got bootloop, and had to flash stock recovery).
Might be because its an asian phone, though.
