No hboot or recovery stuck at htc logo

I was in the process of flashing new firmware a few minutes ago and the phone froze after:

Now the phone is stuck at the HTC logo and when I connect it to pc it doesnt show device is connected. When I try and hold power and up it reboots and gets stuck at the htc logo.

So, your phone don't boot in bootloader?

First of all, when you wrote fastboot reboot-bootloader, you shouldn't have -- inbetween reboot-bootloader,
Second, device wont be found because the device ID changed, so unplug the device and back again, then kill adb server and start again, then check adb devices,
Also if your stuck on HTC logo and the phone even turns on, then you still have hboot mate....

HTC ONE softbricked flashing wrong firmware

I am creating this thread as suggested by @nkk71 to solve a softbricked HTC ONE. I usually deal with samsung and Sony androids so this is to find community help.
Issue, I have recently received an HTC ONE which has been rooted, TWRP installed and was S-ON. The baseband was lost, with 4.4.2 verizone version flashed.
Here are the details:

Some initial remarks from @nkk71 :
1- radio is a CDMA version (from the looks of it)
2- version-main is missing
3- the device is now S-ON, very likely it was S-OFF at one point, and s(he) went S-On because of panic (which was probably the worst idea ever)

I did re-flash CWM touch and also flashed a CWM flashable stock ROM

Sooner or later, you're going to need to S-Off the device, if you want to return it to stock (whatever that was ), but for that you'll need a functioning ROM.
Since you're relocked at the moment, let's try flashing a GPE firmware,
so get 3.06.1700.10 (let's try with lowest version first), from here: http://xda7.androidrevolution.nl/db_mirror/Firmware/index.php?dir=HTC/HTC_One/1700/
then in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 3.06.1700.10.zip
fastboot flash zip 3.06.1700.10.zip <- yes twice
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot getvar all
copy/paste the command prompt output of all the above commands.

is the ROM stable now?

It is showing the following blue screen once i boot,...
First it shows google splash screen...

@nkk71 yes I am now s-off via rumrunner, and on this ROM, InsertCoin 5.0-1
So first after relocked and I flashed, RUU 3.06.1700.10
Flashed latest CWM touch
and then flashed the rom, insertcoin-htc-one-v3-0-5-googleedition-android-4-3
I regained baseband with successful flash.
then I updated to 4.4.2 rom, InsertCoin 5.0-1

AT&T Htc One M7 (Htc Startup Logo Appears and then Black Screen)

Am stuck on Android Version 4.3 with Sense 5.0 Software number 3.17.502.3 and not getting further Updates.
So i Unlock Bootloader & get S-off with the help of threads here. Phone is working after all of this.

After getting S-off flash with 4.18.502 firmware as he says but after flashing "Only HTC Startup Logo Appears and then Black Screen comes nothing happened"
Also try to flash with 5.12.502.2 firmware, 3.17.502.3_firmware_darkboot, hboot_rumrunner_att_3.17.502.3 but phone is not responding still having black screen.
Don't have backup of my phone.
Please any One help me here how can i fix it and what will work to get my damn phone back to working order.

Try to install through PC but it says no phone found because after HTC logo black screen appears and after some time reboot itself.

The phone needs to be in the bootloader fastboot USB screen

[Q] Error 44 when flashing with Fastboot

Hi Guys,
I've got my teacher's phone here (HTC One M7), who wanted to return to the original stock firmware. I've ran 'oem lock', then 'oem rebootRUU', then 'flash zip <file.zip>'.
So far so good, everything seemed to work fine. Till it booted, and only a black screen showed up...
I wondered if it might be broken firmware, so i downloaded another one, and now i have the awkward feeling that it wasn't the right version...
When i now look in hboot, it says: OS-3.62.401.1 (4.19.401.8) in red letters. 3.62.401.1 is the version i need, but i have no idea what those other numbers are.
I went back, trying to install another 3.62.401.1 (checked twice if it's the correct version), and when it checks the hboot version now it ends with Failed, 44 hboot version check fail.
To make a long story short: I believe i attempted to flash the wrong firmware (which stayed stuck at 'sending zip'), and now whenever i try to install the correct firmware it says "44 hboot version check fail". What do i do?
it's S-ON.

The two version numbers are because the first flash went through (the hboot pre-update)
"FAILED (remote: 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately)"
but you didnt complete the second flash.
get the signed firmwares from here: http://xda7.androidrevolution.org/db_mirror/Firmware/index.php?dir=HTC/HTC_One/401/
and flash them incrementally <- important, because those are OTA firmwares, so only contain updates and rely on all previous updates to be in place.
you need to start with 4.19.401.8

try installing the full RUU: http://androidruu.com/getdownload.p...10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe
after that, connect to your WiFi (you dont need a sim card in the phone) and just check for software updates
The RUU will wipe the entire phone, so backup anything important first.

1- firewater is discontinued, only way for you to get s-off is using SunShine (paid app $25)
2- you dont need S-OFF to flash signed firmwares, S-OFF does make a lot of things easier, but is not mandatory
3- try again: unplug & replug phone then

Hi guys!
I have read this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/help/htc-one-m7-verizon-4-4-2-to-5-0-2-t3224351 and as I saw there I got S-Off, bootloader unlocked, changed my CID to 11111111 from HTC__001. Then downloaded RUU_M7_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_BrightstarUS_WWE_7.17.1540.7_Radio_4T.35.3218.16_10.33Q.1718.01L_release_420191_signed_2 from HTC. But unfortunately it stuck at 16% and sending. What is that I am missing?

You will need to change your MID from PN0710000 to PN0712000 and you'll also need to update your firmware.
to change the mid boot the phone in a rooted OS (or custom recovery) and use these commands:

Don't forget to remove your IMEI/SN each time you post a "fastboot getvar all"
Seems like your phone have a problem with the CIR partition, not sure why but you are not the first one. You can bypass the CIR flash so the rest of the firmware can flash fine. You'll also probably need to do the same thing when flashing a RUU
Try this:
Open the firmware zip file, remove the cir.img file from the zip file and try to flash again.

well you'll need to decrypt the ruu.zip using linux so you can remove the cir.img file

Is there a ZIP version of the RUU? I downloaded from HTC an exe version. Let's say I get a zip, remove the img, how can I flash it?

Even if you find a zip version, it must be decrypted if you want to remove the cir.img file. All ruu.zip with their name ending with "signed.zip" like this one or any other ruu.zip extracted from a ruu.exe must be decrypted. I can't find any recent Dev edition ruu that are already decrypted. Probably easier to go for the nandroid backup method.

Well, I can decrypt it if it's necessary. But if you say it would be easier to go the other method, I believe you. Actually I wouldn't mind if I had a custom rom, so I don't really stick to it. So if you could help me finish this, I would really appreciate it!

Download the 7.17.1540.7 firmware patch https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934523570. (you don't need to remove the cir.img from it since this patch doesn't include any cir update)

Setup your phone then go in settings --> about --> software update. You should receive to ota update, one for 7.17.1540.21 and another one for 7.17.1540.35 which is the newest version.

Check you drivers/usb cable. Try another usb port if needed. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Can you at least flash the custom recovery? If yes you could flash the 6.07.1540.2 reset rom and start from there, you'll then have to install 3 ota updates.

It still stuck after change cable+usb port. So should I try to install the recovery, and then push the reset rom, restore it, and it should work?
