Hello, i'm running the stock system on my One M9 and with the new update t-mobile just released, the phone is throwing out all kinds of errors, makes it seem like a hardware issue, but has anyone had this issue?

Need to be more specific about the errors, maybe some screenshots.
I haven't heard of any issues with the update

anyone experiencing this problem? I'm getting A LOT of crashes.
I'm not using any task killers what so ever.
Rooted or not rooted? Stock ROM? Custom ROM? Under what conditions does it crash?
Stock ROM and I have no idea what the circumstances are, it seems sporadic.
Hmm. Are you rooted? You could try fixing the permissions using the ROM Manager app if so. If not, perhaps a re-flashing of the RUU might be in order to fix it.
Hi!
I am having the same problem. My Acer Liquid E keeps crashing. It is reproduceable: when I log on the network the first call I receive is without problem, when I receive the second call com.android.phone crashes and the network is dropped (input SIM key). Then I can again receive one call without problem.
My phone is rooted (z4root) and I use Titanium Backup. I can solve the problem by resetting to factory settings. But it keeps coming again after a couple of days. Of course I would like to know what causes this but at first I would be very happy to know how to get rid of the problem when it is there ... Titanium is not so helpful:
When I restore the Titanium backups:
-I first restored my user applications plus settings without problems, after this everything still works
-Then I restored some of the green marked backups in Titanium Backup. After this the phone starts to have this problem again.
Does anybody know which backup this might be? I mean: solving the problem itsself would be great but at first it would be nice to be able to get the phone working quicker than factory reset. Maybe this could be achieved by resetting to an old backup with Titanium Backup (just need to know which one ...)
Help would be appreciated! Been browsing the net a long time and could find lots of ideas how to solve this but none worked so far.
My system settings:
-Acer Liquid E
-FroYo from the start (updated from .8 to .14 when I first had the problem)
-removed some apps from the rom - but nothing essential and I know that non-essential sounding things like maps or talk are actually essential. I removed things like twitter, roadsync, etc.

daniu, unfortunately it's unlikely anyone here will be able to help you as you have a completely different phone. This forum is only for the HTC Incredible S.
Hi!
I know ... but I am not really sure this is a problem of my specific phone. I read a lot about this kind of problems for many different phones. Mine is not really that common - but I think I will crosspost - thanks for the hint
Daniel
Actually this is also happened to my IS, running ARHD 1.1.5 with latest radio.
I notice this bug after i flashed my radio to non-stock radio.
I haven't try to revert back to the original radio, and the bug remains mystery.
com.android.phone FCs can be caused by incompatible older version sim cards. Try consulting a retail store of your carrier to check if there's a need to upgrade your sim card.
Sent from my HTC Incredible S using XDA Premium App
Hi!
I read about the old SIM-Card idea but I doubt it in my case cause the problem can be reinstalled with Titanium ...
EDIT: this link may be interesting for this problem.
Regards Daniel
I have had the same prob on virgin AU stock rom. Did factory reset and kept getting the same problem. Sent the phone back and they replaced it. Getting the same FC after about a month on the new phone :/
Hi!
I don't think that this is a hardware problem. That's why I think you can send your phone as often as you want. They cannot give you other software than the one you can get yourself ...
regards
Daniel

I don't have this problem. Been running official honeycomb since yesterday and at two different location/router with out any problem. You might have a hardware/driver problem.

You should call Dell support. I am suspecting you have a driver problem.
Try rebooting the streak. I didn't have this issue either when I upgraded. I didn't even have to reestablish connection either, it maintained what was already on the tablet. It only removed the apps off but everything else remained including my music.
Howdy folks,
I received the HTC One (801n) earlier today. It arrived with 4.1.2.
Explored it for a few minutes, although I did not set it up fully - assuming I'd have to do it all over again following a 4.2.x update (I am coming from the HTC Desire, btw).
The WiFi was connecting without issues, then. I was also able to download the official 4.2.2 update from HTC servers.
The update was executed successfully - and surprisingly - I did not have to set-up the device from scratch. I then happened to notice that the phone would not connect to the WiFi network. I have my old Desire beside me (running a 4.2.2 custom ROM) and it has never faced those issues.
For a moment, I thought it was a hardware defect - but I recalled that the update from 4.1.2 was done OTA on the same WiFi network. I am, therefore, guessing it is a 4.2.2 bug.
Unfortunately, Google searches did not show any such issue specific to the One. However, there were 4.2.2-and-WiFi related issues in the One X.
I have tried a few full-resets in vain. Could someone please offer an insight?
Thanks, in advance, for your time/help.

Try removing the network in wifi settings and then reconnecting from new, it's not a issue with 4.2.2 causing this.
If that fails then after a base update (4.1.2 to 4.2.2) a factory reset is sometimes required after the update but this will mean having to set everything up again.

Thank you for the response. Did that, mate.
I guess you mean - 'forget' network and reconnect afresh? Yep, tried that. And did the factory reset too - to no avail.
Searched threads here, guess this is a first - in the meanwhile, I'll check out other Google results which indicated similar issues with the One X. Never owned one before, but shouldn't be all that different.
Hey all. I have an unrooted, stock N4 that appears to be "overloaded" and randomly lags and reboots. It's been happening for a week
I have tried the following solutions
- Factory reset
- PopRocks ROM
- 5.1.1 Stock ROM
- SD Card reformatting
- SD Card removal
- Clearing cache
I am at a loss of what it could possibly be. I am running the latest firmware for the phone now. It seems to just reboot doing the simplest things. Even scrolling through XDA on chrome was laggy as hell. I've tried searching the internet for another solution but to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried is KitKat but it doesn't make sense since I was running Lollipop with no problems until a week ago.
I have the exact same issues on my phone, completely stock out of the box. T-Mobile is sending a warranty replacement next week. Hopefully it won't happen with the new device

I've had this phone for about 7 months now and I got it on Ebay so I don't think there's any chance of me getting a new one from tmobile. Seems like hardware failure to me.
I updated my firnware to the latest trial version and I'm having major issues whenever I try and place a call the SIM card will suddenly not be detected and then after a few moments it will be detected and it keeps cutting out calls even when I receive them.
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the latest stock non trial firmware to manually flash back to?
Tried searching google but found nothing.
Thanks!

Try factory resetting your phone instead, I upgraded mine yesterday and no issues.

No. I got the trial version. Someone on another thread shared the closed beta firmware but no one yet has been able to use it for an upgrade
