I have the Verizon version of the phone.
I am having so much trouble reverting back from 39A to 27A through KDZ method. I've tried TOT method as well, but it isn't working under Windows 10.
I do not have learning disability. So, I have followed all the instructions on how to use KDZ and TOT.
Any advice?

I have a FIDO LGP990hn which I had updated to Gingerbread from an unbranded .kdz using kdz updater and it worked fine. I then decided to go back to Stock Rom and used smartflash to flash back to stock now there is a new kdz for FIDO LGP990 and kdz updater won't install it using the lg update tool saying this model is not supported and if I use KDZ updater directly the program on windows crashes. Is there any other program I can use to update a kdz file.
I am using Windows 7 64bit and unfortunately no one in my house has Windows XP for me to test it on.
Would really appreciate some help and any other options in updating.
VM Ware + WinXP?
I had to get a new phone since mine broke and it has the zv8 update already and I want to root so what is the easiest way to go back to zv7 so I can root and flash a custom rom
Download LGNPST from here http://tazr.net/lgrevo/ along with the vs910.dll file and the lg revo AIO and the zv7 gingerbread. Then use LGNPST to bring you back to zv7 then use the AIO to root then if you want to re-update the phone make a local.prop file in data with "ro.kernel.qemu=1" in it then do the OTA update then download the AIO ZV8 and use Option 2 then you'll have CWM and then you can flash the new Broken Out 1.1 rom

This thread ought to help with that a little bit. It has specific directions for flashing back to zv7 or earlier. You might need to do some digging in the replies if you use win7 64bit on your desktop. There are a few issues with it.

Oh no... this is just to hard for me. Too many step.
I have a p990hn which I am trying to flash back to the stock v25H kdz from Fido(Canada).
I have been following the instructions located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264289
but still no luck. It seems to stop flashing halfway through and does nothing for 10 minutes or more.
The flashing seems to have gone as far as to overwrite CWM.
The logs from the KDZ software updater can be seen here: http://freetexthost.com/scll2sawf6
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Edit: Got it to work by using NVflash to revert to V10b then upgrade to V25H using the UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe and LGTools. KDZ files just would not go. General instructions can be found here: http://www.lg-phones.org/how-to-flash-lg-optimus-2x-to-android-2-3-4-gingerbread.html and the later part of this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1287236 (there is a thread for these exact method in the o2x forums but I was too tired to find it, rest assured, it worked for me.)
How can I revert my LG 2X back to stock? Currently running CM10 with the new bootloader. I have found multiple threads about this but I'm afraid to brick my phone because there all outdated.
Can someone provide me with a step-by-step guide thats more up-to-date?
Thanks very much.
Well you won't get that kind of guide, cuz only small part of users still using p990 (my guess) got back to stock, so all the guides are a bit outdated but shouldn't brick your device. Saying it short, use the old guides

Easy method:
Use smartflash to install an old baseband like 20S. Then use LG update tool to flash the latest stock for your region. Alternate, use AIO tool to flash both baseband and stock. You will need to download .kdz file and extract it to fls and bin file in AIO tool prior to flashing. Fls are baseband and bin are the rom
So i have my LG g4 h811 on what was 10h before I "unlegit" put it back to stock using TWRP and .zip. Now I have it in a constant state of "optimizing apps". I was going to place it on something else but was unsure if I would put it back to 10h, 10n, or v20p. I've searched enough and had no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated
If you are on 20i you must flash 20i or newer software. Anything older than 20i will brick your H811.
So I now flashed it to 20p and now a constant bootloop comes-up. I have had this phone for a whole year and I highly doubt it's the dreaded desolder issue, but i'm not sure. Why would it continue to bootloop? I thought that was supposed to fix it?
Did you use LGUP and flash a KDZ file?
That's the best way. Choose 'refurbish' in LGUP and don't forget to back up any data if you can.
Use the P kdz instead of Q if you wish.
