Automatic boot into recovery TWRP [Loop] - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was running cm12.1_janice-130915 for a couple of days, than I got a bug which could perhaps be fixed by wiping the dalvik chache and another chache, so I long-clicked the power button, opened the reboot menu and choose 'Reboot into Recovery' after which it rebooted into recovery. However when I tell it from the recovery to reboot to system, it won't, it will reboot to recovery again.
So I started of by wiping partitions and chaches in the hope that the setting would be 'undone' in the end I did a factory reset and put the rom on my phone again, though it's still booting into recovery modus.
I don't know what I could do anymore. ADB-sideload won't run (if that would be any help). Is my phone a brick now or is there hope?

[Q] Help ... My Galaxy S is not booting :(

Hello
I bought today galaxy s
dirctly i went to install recovery to it to install any rom i want
i used this guide
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S:_Full_Update_Guide
but the problem is when i finished the 7th step
it made restart and after 5 secounds it make anther restart and never boots
what to do now to fix this problem
please help me
try to remove the battery for 2 minutes. now reinsert battery and switch it on with menu button and vol -. if you go in download mode you can flash with Odin
if all fails get a download jig from ebay for £1.50, forces into download mode when you plug it into the charger socket.
can you boot into recovery mode? (Volume up+Menu button+power)
if you can and have CWM, try to Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Also, from the main menu go into Mounts and Storage and format /system, /data, /datadata, /cache. Also, go into Advanced and wipe your Dalvik Cache
can you go into download mode? (Volume Down+menu button+power)
if so, you can go into download mode, and using heimdall or odin, you can flash to a stock firmware and kernel, and start again from scratch.
I had the same issue on my first attempt. Something to do with the different extensions used by stock Samsung & Cyanogenmod. As a previous post mentioned just remove battery, restart into recovery & flash again. make sure to clear cache & wipe system data etc.

[Q] Nexus One stuck on reboot rainbow session.

First of all, I just to state the fact that I am a total newb and therefore knows nothing of any phone related jargon.
So my screen was unresponsive so I did the best thing I could do which was to turn the power off and start it up again. When I turned it on again, the multicoloured X is there and the rainbow fibres show began but at some point it gets stuck and begins again and gets stuck again and it goes on and on like that.
I have tried reboot and recovery and I really need my phone to function again.
Please, please help me.
Bootlooping.
Go to recovery, wipe cache + dalvik cache, wipe user data (if necessary format all partition except sd card), and flash your rom.

Thanks. But how do I get to recovery?
Hold down power button+volume down should get you to hhboot screen, choose recovery menu then.

Can't access CWM recovery anymore

Hello,
Here is my problem, wanting to flash a theme on my Xperia Z, I had to perform a cache cleaning, this one was unusually long (~5minutes), so I brutally shut down the phone via power + volume up.
I wasn't aware of:
Phone hangs when cleaning cache?
Just leave it for a few minutes, it's needs some time to clean cache

Unfortunately it is now impossible for me to get back to the recovery (LED turns green but does not change to purple while holding volume up).
I already tried:
- Reinstall CWM recovery
- Install TWRP recovery hoping "overwrite" CWM (does not work either)
- Uninstall TWRP recovery
- Use the "reboot in recovery" option via clockworkmod and application TWRP (just reboot the phone normally)
edit:
- I now tried to do a factory reset but it's not working, nothing happen when I click "erase all data", can't tell if it's related though...
Having no other ideas I think it would be best to totally remove CWM recovery (via adb ?) and then reinstall it "properly"
Thanks
Update: Just tried to do a factory reset via settings but I doesn't work, nothing happen when I click "erase all data", can't tell if it's related though. Is there any other way to do a factory reset so I can go back to normal ?
Thanks

[Q] Stuck in first Cyanogenmod boot?

Hi guys, first time posting here, sorry if a question like this has already been asked but I've looked around and haven't managed to solve my problem yet.
So I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Mini II (GT-S6500T) and used Odin 3.07 to install ClockworkMod 6.0.3.2 onto it; I then booted it into recovery mode and installed ZIP from SD card, selected CyanogenMod 10.2 ("cm-10.2-20131202-UNOFFICIAL-jenad.zip"), followed instructions etc. installed Google Apps and all that.
Now, when I selected to start up the phone again, it just gets stuck in the Cyanogenmod boot screen, the blue arrow just circles around on and on (I understand that it usually takes a long time but I don't think it's meant to take over half an hour... also, every now and then I notice it kind of makes a low vibrate sound?).
I've read that to fix it you can reboot it into recovery mode and reflash it but the problem is I can't even get into the recovery mode. If I force the phone off (e.g. by removing battery) and hold Vol Up + Vol Down + Home + Power to boot recovery mode, nothing happens. If I just hold Power it starts up and goes straight into boot sequence.
I do have a backup of my previous settings and all that saved - one saved on my external SD card and the same file saved on my computer, so if I can somehow load that back it would be great I guess.

I mentioned earlier I cannot enter recovery mode. When I hold the button combination to go into it, nothing happens.
Earlier I managed to get into download mode (Vol Down + Home + Power) and I reflashed a stock firmware, but now my phone is stuck in a boot loop, it just shows the Samsung screen and vibrates every now and then. I still cannot access recovery mode.
Managed to fix the problem but thanks for the help anyway. Followed one of the solutions here and removed everything, held power for 1 min, plugged my phone into the computer and managed to get into recovery mode. From there I did full wipe, wipe cache, wipe Dalvik cache, format /system (probably only necessary to do full wipe but I dunno), then restarted into download mode and used Odin to reflash stock rom, then reloaded recovery mode and reloaded my backup.
edit: My question now is, I'm not sure what I've done wrong in the process of installing Cyanogenmod to screw up this badly. Is it absolutely necessary to format /system before installing it? I did do full wipe, cache and Dalvik cache and mounted /system prior to rebooting and loading Cyanogenmod.
what i do > install rom > reboot > install google apps .. I had this problem aswell a while ago. what also can be the problem is when u don't format correctly..

Have You as well was unable to go into recovery mode and stuck on bootloop ? One thing I can do is to use Odin, tried to flash some stock firmware with no result. Still no acces to recovery and still Samsung logo loop. I searched, read many topics but nothing helped. Is there something except Riff Jig that could be done ? Thanks for response
-Flash stock rom via Odin
-Flash cwm via Odin
-Pull out battery
-Connect phone to pc (without battery)
-Wait until screen turns on
-Hold recovery combo keys until samsung logo shows (home+volup +voldown +power)
-put battery back quickly
-You should be in recovery now :wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
-Reboot.
I was in similar situation, if not identical. This worked for me. Good luck.
Edit: I didn't see you fixed it already. Ignore the post.

Recovery mysteriously disappeared

About a month ago I noticed that I can't boot into recovery. However, flashing it (CWM or TWRP) with Flashify and rebooting helped although I couldn't boot into it manually (key combination or reboot menu).
Now, there's no way to enter recovery, even when I flash it with Flashify. Reboot to recovery reboots directly into the ROM, volume and power key does nothing, phone gets stuck on bootscreen. Otherwise, when booting normally, everything works fine. I just can't get into recovery. I'm currently using CM12.1 on D405n. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks.
