[Q] I need help with this international phone please

I got a brand new galaxy s4 phone from my girlfriend which she bought in China. The phone is cool. But after I started to use it, I realized the phone would not do anything with Google apps. I live in US and I need my apps, not all those apps from China which only give you Chinese references. I need help! I am brand new to this and I have no idea how to fix this problem. Thanks.

first root your phone
then refer to i9502 thread to copy the necessary files for play store to system

Well, this forum is for the S4 Active, not the S4, so first you have to go to the right forums.

[Q] Google Now For Galaxy Mini?

Does anybody know where I can find Google now for galaxy mini? Has to be compatible with jelly bean. Sorry for the tough question (I know its hard to find Google now for galaxy mini) I googled it but couldn't find anything, I am also new to the forums. (A noob)

. Ok thanks, as when I open Google now, search force closes and voice search doesn't work, just says "cannot reach Google at the moment."

hello, i bough a lenovo k3 note a while ago and it arrived today.
it crashes every 10min~ for no reason + its full of adds.
i know im asking for a lot but can anyone guide me with rooting the device and installing a non ****ty rom on it( i tried following guides on the forum but some links dont work and i have no idea which versions of programs can i mix)

I'm guessing you have the Chinese ROM. There is an ROW (Indian) ROM available on needrom.com with OTA capabillity. You dont have to root but have to flash with SPFlashtool.
Here is the ROM and installation instructions:

That DA DL Checksum-thingy in the instructions is super important. If you forget that, you WILL end up with a bricked device.

Hono 10 lite - chinese device without Google Play Store

Folks, I've been in China and bought two devices honor 10 lite EMUI 9.0.1, but can't make Google Play Store works. I can download and install it, but the app doesn't start. Any suggestion to help me avoid loosing two devices?

Really sorry to tell you that as of now there is no solution to install Google play store, I know that because I'm in the same situation. I have even done research on this device Chinese forum

yes. i have too this problem. Google play cant install . Try 4 methods. Not running.

For that you need to unlock bootloader and as of now Huawei doesn't provide files required for unlocking.

dear guys, I'm on same situation, trying to open a ticket to Huawi but for the moment, the aswer is NO, NO, NO.. .... do you have any progress/update on that??

I have the same problem and Google Play services is not working. To use the Google Maps and YouTube, I can open them via chrome browser, but must not install the Google Play services, if not, the Google maps can not be opened just like with the Maps app. I think the only way to make the Google app working with a honor 10 lite bought in China is to flash a global firmware to replace the Chinese firmware. But, where to find it? Maybe it is too new product, no global firmware ( rom) available yet today.

I hope someone figures this out. I have tried every way possible. Its worked on every other device I have (honor 7x / 8x / Huawei enjoy 7s and Xiaomi mi5 c) but not working on my honor 10 lite ?

I have the same mobile with same issue. Please someone help us. Such a beautiful mobile left being unused from a long time.

I think in the OSCrunch forum finally found a way to install google play in the honor 10 lite.

I installed it in my Honor 10 lite... But same results (didnt run)... So didnt work.. . have someone tried and worked??

Cannot update Galaxy Watch 3, it says "Watch software update: Registration failed"

Hi everyone.
As the title says, I just got a brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 (45mm, if that matters) and I'm having trouble updating it. I can set it up just fine and notifications and everything works correctly. But once I try to update its software, it says "Watch software update: Registration failed" (please see screenshot below).
My Watch is model SM-R840 running Tizen 5.5.0.1, build number R840XXU1BTK1.
Can anyone help me please? I tried googling but couldn't find anything other than some sketchy stuff about flashing new firmware, etc.
I tried it on a Samsung Galaxy phone as well as on a Google Pixel. I tried resetting, etc., but nothing seems to work...

I am able to check my CSC and I did enable develop options but it doesn't even seem to connect to the update server (please see screenshot).
I would appreciate it if you could help me figure out what is going on with my watch...
