TrackID on Windows Mobile

Searching for some skilled ROM cooker to extract the TrackID aplication (best as CAB) to use it on other WM PDA's. SE implemented it first time on WM platform in X1. So grab it end post it.

My X1i italian stock rom doesn't have TrackId onboard and i can't download it from SE site because X1 isn't supported

TrackID will come as a panel next year...got the info from my SE friend.

I've not seen TrackID on any x1 rom, which one is it and we can extract it.
Theres a music ID in the Dev&Hacking forum.

I have seen it only in features o Xperia, got no real experience. Music ID works OK.

This was one of the features I really missed from my P1i.

is there a way to save musicID songs lists to microSD?
everytime i do a hard reset, the songs lists is gone.

Here TrackID can be found, but X1 not supported.
This seems to be a Java app, can it be found somewhere and run in some JavaBed?

I prefer TrackID to Shazam as TrackID is more universal, I randomly tested it on many songs from many languages and later on googled it and they matched. Shazam is not really universal, even famous instrumental musics can not be identified correctly

there is an alternate besides shazam and track ID, try googling midomi! this is a very cool track identifier!

I use "Midomi" on my Xperia. It's a good alternative.

i perfer midomi too.. works much better n more languages of song can be detected.

midomi is by far the best music recognizer

I've been looking allover for a free or cracked Shazam/trackID, and found zip. Then suddenly theres a little file here called midomi, which is 10 times better, even recognizez humming and whistling, AND automatically installed in norwegian!

Hey all i wonder if could be possible to port an APP from SymbianOS UIQ3 Walkman application to Android version?
I like very much this background visualizations and touch support
Any chance to port it?
If someone wants to take this, i can send needed files.

Why do you even need it, just try a new google music player its awesome....

hi mate Symbian is a thing of the past. Even nokia dont use Symbian any more there are alot better music players out there even the stock x8 player is better. just do a search and you will find many better players. there are many that have been ported and or modded

[Q] Walkman update

Just please don't rip me apart and feed me to lions if this has already been discussed, search isn't returning anything.
Couple of days ago I got a notification about Walkman update, so I said why not and clicked update, since it's not my main music player and I don't really care about it. Well, now I started to care because other music apps can't access equalizer anymore. Walkman app is okay, but it lacks functions and the bottom stripe where navigation bar is supposed to appear is annoying as I've replaced the bar with LMT. Can anyone post older version of Walkman please?

Silly me. I, for some reason, thought the updates get pushed directly to the system by Sony Uninstalled the update, but seems like something got screwed up on a deeper level. I still can't get equalizer to work with other apps.

Sony WALKMAN

Hello guys, this isn't nothing new probably but I just found it. Many of you used Xperia phones before and all of you(just like me) loved Xperia launcher with it's goodies(especially Walkman with all the audio enhancements and tweaks). Here's good news: you can have it on Mate7! Stock music player is quite good but lack of equalizer and sound enhancements is unforgivable. There's ported app which actually works on Mate7(i am running it on newest lollipop b317):

Just follow the instruction and you'll be alright. Bootloader unlocked and root required

If you have root, Viper4AndroidFX is the best possible audio mod for the Mate. It works well with Poweamp. I was using the Sony music app in my THL but went back to Poweramp as the Sony random function wasn't so random. It was like using the same playlist all the time.

Recommendations on music app similar to Sony's?

I have joined the Samsung family after having been with Sony for many many years and the 1 thing I do miss are the music, keyboard and weather apps/widgets. Other then that I am loving the S10!
I do want to ask what music apps people are using though? Ideally I want 1 like Sony's as it gave me the option of a widget and I could download album art on there. I have tried many of the apks that are available for the Sony one, some don't work on the S10 and some work flawlessly EXCEPT I cannot make a playlist or add songs to my favourites. However when I tried doing these on other music apps and then going back to the Sony one, the songs will appear on my playlists?! Is there a reason for this? It's really bugging me that my S10 is not yet perfect for me :crying:
Any advice or recommendations are welcome!

I using Musicolet. It is new app. Is free and without ads, heavy customizable and light. I was using long time JetAudio, PowerAmp and now settled with Musicolet.

Samsung Music 16.2.16.10 (Available On Apk Mirror) is the best music app ever made for offline playback. Its very colorful just like Sony's Walkman used to be.
For Editing Album Arts etc I would recommend Star Music editor from the play store.

It's also the only music app with folders search in android auto

The Samsung app is very nice, but not usable for anyone with a music collection over 10k songs. It will only play the first 10k songs in the music players list. I've tried many different ways to get it to play different ways and it basically only plays the song you selected and the 9,999k in the first of the list from what the app can see. It wasn't like this prior to the apps updates introducing Spotify into the app.

Also thanks for the link to Sony's 1 but I have already tried that and as mentioned, creating playlists or adding to favourites doesn't seem to work ? but for some reason if I create those playlists in another music app, they will appear in the Sony one?! Anybody know why or how I can fix this please?
