EDIT: Fixed, please remove the thread?
Hey, Im struggling to get my HTC one back to stock (HTC will pick up the phone tomorrow so I really need to make it work today).
It's s-off, unlocked and im using the super_cid, I cant apply any RUU.exe (I get "error 158"), if I try to flash a decrypted RUU(zip) using htc_fastboot it says "error: cannot load 'RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_Cingular_US_4.18.502.7_decrypted.ROM.zip'".
The rom im currently using is android revolution if that matters
Heres what i get when i type "fastboot getvar all"

Hey all,
I've just had an failed firmware.zip flash (as said I've done this twice) now my HTC One is stuck on 4 exclamation marks screen.
Phone was a Three UK model, with stock rooted ROM (S-ON Android 4.1.2) I by mistake have tried to flash firmware.zip from extracted from my OTA update to android 4.2.2
Here's output from getvar all:
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 4A.13.3231.27

(bootloader) boot-mode: RUU
ERROR: usb_read failed with status e00002e8

Now I'm little bit stuck, how can I recover my phone from this, whatever to stock 4.2.1 or updated 4.2.2 android?
I would appreciate any help & clues, thanks!

I just need help with gaining S-off with HTC One Toolkit 2.0. When i try to prepare revone it just says: error code = 1.
I have unlocked bootloader and currently running ARHD 20.1 android 4.3 I heard that i need to have android 4.2.2 to gain S-off with revone. I dont know is that true or not, but if it needs to be on android 4.2.2 or lower then what ROM should i flash or should i flash shipped RUU.zip

Yes you need to go back to a 4.2.2 build... ARHD 13.4 should be ok. If you don't have 13.4 saved somewhere then ask in the ARHD thread if anyone can help or join us in the ARHD irc channel and we may be able to help you there.
No you don't, the build they're on now is fine as it's 4.1.2 not 4.2.2
Edit: that's the firmware, yes ROM also needs lowering
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Aright guys, i hope i can finally get this figured out.
I need to do this on my Mac and cannot do it in bootcamp because no matter what I do i cannot get my computer to recognize the device in fastboot. Tried on both windows 8 and 7.
As of right now I am running android 4.3 with sense 5 rooted that i flashed. I have a back up from when I was on 4.1.2. Hboot is 1.44.
Im trying to get this phone to a state I can send it in for repairs... I mainly need help finding the correct RUU.zip for my device and flashing it.

Here is my device's history:
Stock (regular HTC1 no dev edition)
Unlocked Bootloader
Rooted
S-OFF
Installed Android revolution
Tried to convert to developer edition (for lollipop early upgrade)
Modified to SuperCID
Now I can use any RUU for the life of me, I've tried about 10 of them, but nothing seems to support it and i always end up with a ERROR 158
I'm kind of new to this even though ive screwed around with my phone a bunch. Can you just help me to get to a stock version of lollipop? THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE

First, remove your imei and serial number from above, you don't want to post that info.
As your phone is s-off you can use any RUU you like, just change your cid and mid to match the RUU you want to use first, also you may need to flash the corresponding firmware for that RUU first for it to work.
EDIT: Follow this guide to convert to dev edition http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/guide-convert-m7-developer-edition-t2840311

Just tried updating to lastest TWRP 2.8.6.0 and trying to install the ZIP that i downloaded from HTC above, fails right away.
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/m7ul-3.4.10-g3ca631.zip'
Fixed it myself! Updated my firmware on my phone to something newer (Firmware 7.19.401.2) and was able to flash a stock rom. Also had to make sure i was SUPERCID.
I have no idea if this information is correct or not
