I'm not really sure what happened here, but I just rebooted a few minutes ago and the icons on the right side of my status bar (i.e. mobile data, WiFi, battery) are suddenly dimmed gray. I'm pretty sure I didn't make any changes to the system. How can I fix this?

At second pick try to unninstall app,and reinstall.
I noticed that there is a glitch with the animation and I'm not sure what is causing it. I know that before installing my apps it's fine so it must be an app causing it. In the picture when accessing the recents notification it looks like that then corrects itself. Any ideas?

Mine is grayed, along with other system related apps, I think it is normal, as they need to run cotinously in background
Indeed. If not running in background you would not receive messages unless you had app running in foreground....
What does the number icon on the status bar mean (circled)?
I can't find an explanation in the user guide. First I thought it had to do wifh new messages or something, but there is no correlation as far as I can see. Usually the number is between 1 and 4.

That means you have enabled the option to view app notifications as numbers instead of icons.
Hi, can anyone help me to get rid of this annoying bar at the bottom of my screen which is visible in almost all my apps and also in system? I'm not sure when this have popped up. I didn't had it before but since few weeks my eyes are bleeding because of that thing.
EDIT. looks like it was a bug from Samsung update. Just got a new update today and everything is as it used to be.
