Heres the link enjoy just give props to the op in that forum. Dont know what framerate it records but it sure works. Thank the op from that forum!
Update: Every works!!!!! Running Chroma!
As slow mo yes, high fps recording unfortunately no. You can achieve it by media players, you don't need new app, sorry.
parsing errorduring installation, and this is from the thread you posted:
"This will work only on hydrogenOS. So its useless"
guess its no use to us.
edit: there is an updated version posted in the page 2 https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/hydrogen-os-camera-apk.336358/page-2#post-12574028 that works but not really what we always wanted since the frame rate is low so its just like slowing the playing speed and you can do that with any video from any source right in your video player.
but still thanks for sharing it with us.
Nice.

Anyone have the new camera app from hydrogen 2.0, which now includes manual mode, and even more features?>

Nothing exciting yet. I've got it working 100% of the time, but the quality is now marginal & button alignment is messed up. Just need a little more tweak time to find the right balance. See demo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9ZZQApKECA
Okay, I'm holding off on releasing this just yet. To be honest, it's for a combination of reasons. The first being, it's still not quite there. I also tipped my hand because I did get a message from the same A-hole, but it included som valid info, & I DID end up talking with someone at Opera. Which Confirmed it was fake, but also showed my hand.
Now, I see Kyohur's post & I think I know EXACTLY the Corn-holio that posted this crap, & am working on payback.
I just may release a cab. But until I get that you shouldn't :Wink) :Wink), but if it happens please give us feedback, I'm gonna hold off.
I will however, cook this into a personal ROM I'm working on using the advanced methods & dsm so that it can be more easily extracted as an OEM.
I will release my ROM for comparitive value & while I will say, that the opera OEM files should remain a part of my personal "developmental" ROM. I also guess I can't control what happens to it once it's out there.
BIG THANKS TO KYPHUR!!! Appreciate the info. I hadn't seen your post till now, but now I'm certain I know who this dip$hit is.

Youtube support or flash video support?!
Either way, this is incredible news! Glad to see Opera 9.5 being fully utilized!
That's great!
And what about the video playback?
Is it watchable? Or does it jumps too much?
Nice job mate.

What the heck? every time I click on the video link(youtube), it prompt to Wmedia player and wouldn't play the video on my Opera9.5. I installed the flash and all.
Skype released a new version 2.0.0.45 which enable video calling for some phone.
Market on my tablet says there's an update but it won't let me. Is this happening for everyone? Is this update purely for those phones?
The update only is available for official Android 2.3 Gingerbread devices.
See:
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/30/skype-with-video-finally-released-on-android/
The new update looks great on the xoom. Side loaded it. And since it is free, here's the apk.
I had Skype installed on my Xoom but market doesn't even show skype at all but I downloaded it to my Motorola Droid 1 and then copied the apk to the Xoom.
Can someone please post the APK instead of the RAR. I can't download it via the Zoom and I don't have a computer. I'm using the stock browser and not the XDA app. Thanks in advanced.

I already tried doing that as I noticed the other post was a RAR but the apk is bigger than the maximum size allowed which is probably why it was posted as a RAR instead as compression will save some space. All you really need to do is download the RAR and then extract it using root explorer.
Thanks, side loaded and working fine!
Can you upload it as .zip? The issue is that I can't download from from the browser because it always fails. For some reason u can download apk's and zips. I'll keep trying.

Yup, that's exactly why it's a rar. I usually upload straight apk files.
Now it's again available from the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.skype.raider&feature=search_result
They push update today morning.
If there's no video chat, is there any reason to install this update? I mean this seriously and not sarcastically. I uninstalled Skype and haven't seen much point without video. Is there something cool in this release?

Has anyone tried the modified apk (device restriction have been removed) from here?

I'm looking for an app to add slow motion effects to videos. The only apps that I've found converts the whole video to slow motion. I'd like to select a part of the video and add slo-mo.
Any suggestion?

I do. I'm dubious about anything under 3.5. Unless its the only app with that function, I won't try it.

i always take reviews into consideration, but its not my final consideration. i did try it, and it works(to a point). id say the rating it has is pretty accurate as it is trying to push other things onto the user, besides the videos that they make for themselves.
I read reviews but not always. Anyway, back to the topic.

Today I got HTC M9 Camera & Gallery app is working fine in my Nexus 6..
May be some users like me not satisfied with the default Google Camera app. That's why decided to share this info..
Enjoy..

Simply install as normal apk..
**Camera: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-corporation/camera-htc-corporation/
**Gallery: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-corporation/gallery-htc-corporation/
This works better because it has all the lib files and everything for extra functionality. (I removed the link due to the powers that be, but google search HTC m9 camera port and you will find it.)
At the bottom of the comments someone provided a full patch for 4k video.
Does it have an HDR+ option?
Selinux needs to be permissive for some reason

@manup456 and @Ryjabo :
I actually use the zip file as well, but if I was you I should remove the links because that is the Jishnu Sur port and every kind of material, links etc coming from this guy is forbidden here in xda.
I say this just to let you avoid a warn by a moderator.

I get what your saying and thanks for the heads up, but its not like XDA post a list of people who are banned from XDA so why would they warn me? They keep track of who is banned not me.
But I will remove the link since XDA has changed so much and I don't want issues.
Awesome find..

If you are using lean kernel, there is an option available in lkconfig.
Otherwise, you would need to use the app SElinux Changer.
It was pulled from Google Play, but can be downloaded here on XDA:

Is it better than Camera FV-5?
there is any diference between zip file and apk files?

Could also use a terminal emulator app and run "su 0 setenforce 0" without the quotes. For me, the SELinux app here on XDA was not persistent. I would be switched back to enforcing after a reboot. The terminal way persists through reboots.

More features awaited!
Well, I've been using the HTC One M9 Camera App for about 4-5 days as my primary camera app and I'm quite happy. For instance, there are some awesome modes in it like Brokeh, Split Camera etc. But, Google Camera has better panorama. The HDR mode is needed as I compared the photos on my laptop... Google ones were better even when HDR+ mode wasn't even on! Having said that, HTC One M9 Camera is a beautiful addition to our phones as the Google Camera is still 2012 in my opinion!
Features awaited(in terms of importance):
1. HDR (most important)
2. Slow motion video
3. Faster focusing
Please hit the THANK YOU button if you think my review helped you. I will continue to post further info on this.
This is way better than the stock camera. The focus issue on the stock camera made me hate my camera, now with this I'm liking it. Thank you

Hey guys. Found a nice Camera app in the main Android Apps and themes forum. It enables slow motion video and time lapse for our beloved Nexus 6. All features seem to be working just fine.
The app comes in a flash able zip BUT I am not rooted so I just pulled the apk out of the system folder in the zip and installed like a regular apk.
This is not my work nor am I taking credit for this app. I am just redirecting you to the main thread. Please thank the Original Dev in the OT. Enjoy!

Great Cam ! Thanks for sharing .
Slow Mo doesn't seem to work, at least not correctly.
It works for me. I tested it a bunch. What doesn't work for u?
Nice, thanks for sharing the link, works fine
has anyone tested the slow-mo? whats the quality and fps?
for those who wanna know, this is the OnePlus camera that has been around for a while now, just a name change. and the slow-mo has alow fps so again, we have seen it before on other apps and its not a real slow-mo (at least IMO).
Jeez sorry. Don't install it then.

Hello could you please let me know which apk you installed? Also it this mod compatible with 7.1.1?
