This thread will be a list of ROMs currently being built and tested by Team-M8 and using Team-M8 device trees and kernel source. None of these ROMs are the work of Team-M8, nor will any of our members take credit for any of the work here. The kernel has been tweaked and reworked by @fizbanrapper and @smac0628.
We will simply be building ROMs unofficially for the purposes of this thread and to give the M8 community a bit more to play around with.
This thread will also be a constant WIP, and edited every so often as needed.
I will try and give as many credits to all the real devs out there that I can. I don't know everyone, so I might leave some of you out. If you feel the need for mentions, let me know, I will gladly add you.
On a similar note, I don't want to step on anyone's toes here either. If I include your ROM here, and you do not want it here, please let one of us know and we will take it down. We will be providing links to the official threads that have the official builds.
If there are any issues with any of these builds, DO NOT contact the official thread and complain or report errors or logs to them! These are unofficial builds and any errors with these builds should not be a burden on the maintainers and devs of the official builds. you can let us know, but no promises on replies or help. Usually someone will indeed help you though.
I would suggest, if you do come upon errors, to clean flash the official build, as recommended by the instructions of that ROM's official thread, and see if that error still is present. Then you may get yourself a log and kindly report that error in the appropriate thread.
Please maintain respect for all users here, noobs and experts alike. NO BS! Keep the OT to a minimum, or we will have the thread cleaned. We are doing this just because we can, and because we want to. No one is paying anyone around here for any of our time, same goes for almost all the Devs out there, so please maintain a good deal of respect. If you don't like something, go make your own ROM!We will categorize the ROMs according to what theme engine they have

Next time just wipe as much as u can (data won't mount) then just restore your last good build over top of it, boot into it, then jump back to recovery and you will have internal storage back and be able to do a proper full wipe and set back up.
The disappearing internal storage has been happening usually after a forced reboot on most AOSP roms... But it does seem random what build may or may not do it. I'm not sure if it's a recovery or a Rom issue.
Also if you are using Multirom and it occurs while flashing a secondary just boot back into your primary Rom then you can go back to recovery and be good to go
I tried flashing via multirom and it won't boot up.

If a build is not stable u call it testing status, all the previous posts complain about boot issues and that's why I also tested the ROM to confirm.
Nice.... Please add screenshoots

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
The builds are available when either you or I build them.

I have used this project to learn how to build ROMs, and how the Android OS works. I'm no genius like Archie, Dheeraj or Arter97 all of whom have helped me to do this by sticking to Open Source principles. The NamelessRom and Omni team helped me without judging me for lack of skills, which is both rare and awesome. Finally massive props to PRJosh (SlimTeam), Marco (Omni), and CBalster (Omni) and many others.
Both roms are based on AOSP.
If you have any issues with it, then either post a simple explanation of what the problem is, or more helpfully take a logcat. The more detail you give me the more likely I can solve the issue for you.
First boot is a long one, so give it a chance.
Finally all advice welcome, you find a good commit, or patch let me know.

When reporting issues, please try and provide as much information as possible. I have one phone, which I need for work and my personal life. The benefit of this is that I work hard to ensure it works, the downside is that testing two roms is hard, in fact testing one thoroughly is difficult. So please please provide logcats, post what rom and version you are using, and what variant of the i9300 you are using.
Nice to see Slim ROM with Lollipop. Thanks for the build.

New build is on the way.
Now the rom is compiled with SaberMod linaro 4.9 instead of 4.8, the kernel is still compiled with SaberMod linaro 4.10.
Also the quicksettings 4 tiles row feature will be fixed and many more.

I don't think that people should have to worry about downloading this ROM because the last thread was closed. Looks like the OP of the last thread got in the bad graces of a moderator and what happened is the fallout from it.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
Flashing Instructions:
- Verify that you're using the latest version of TWRP-[3.0.2.0]
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android
(A full wipe is when you wipe system, data, cache & dalvik/art cache)
- Flash the latest version of this ROM
- Flash recommended GAPPS linked below
- Reboot and ENJOY!!
**If you fail to follow these instructions, please don't bother reporting any bugs.**
**If you use Xposed, please don't bother reporting any bugs**
**If you use another kernel, please don't bother reporting any bugs**
**This is an unofficial build, please don't report bugs or issues on the Dirty Unicorns Official G+.
Report them here on this thread with appropriate logs and steps to reproduce the said bug**
Credit and Thanks:
We would like to give thanks to everyone that contributes to the Android community, big or small because every bit counts. Although we can't list each and every contributor within the Android community, we would like to highlight some of the teams and individuals that have made it possible NOT only with just this version of DU but throughout the years because we don't ever want to forget where we came from nor those that have helped us!

hi,
nice ROM, really smooth an highly customizable.
But I got a Problem, I'm stuck and don't know, how to get out:
There is no Play store, there is no root and recovery was overwirtten/deleted/doesn't work.
TWRP needs root to be installed, trying to do so via USB Debugging doesn't work with Nougat.
Trying to install any Kind of root needs TWRP or another recovery to work.
Trying to install Play Store doesn'T work, as there is no File Manager in this ROM and .apk placed in "Downloads" won't be recognized.
So what do I Need to do to get more out of this than just using the dialer, SMS and camera?
By the way: I am using a Sony Xperia Z Ultra and I have no idea, why "ROM informations" lead me here

Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
Install Instructions:
Flash the newest factory image
Move your ROM + GApps + TWRP.zip to your internal storage
Boot the TWRP.img ->Wipe Data, Cache, & System -> Flash the ROM as well as the TWRP.zip
Reboot to recovery via TWRP (Reboot -> Recovery)
Flash GApps -> Reboot to System -> Enjoy CarbonROM
Download CarbonROM
my Gapps, (which replace all AOSP apps)
razorloves Gapps (which are minimal)

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Just do the flash instructions, no need to uninstall magisk, and if you're already on the factory image you can skip to step 2 :good:

You probably didn't flash the correct factory image. You should've flashed this one
finally, waiting for the stable one .
Thank you so much for the effort

Team Bliss is not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device in the process of flashing.
Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
Please make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.
Please scroll down to second and third posts for install instructions and downloads
one build, thousands of potential component combinations, so not everything will be working on every machine, and we know this.
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you and our team quite some time.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

First backup your internal memory data in your pc. Then reset your phone & format your internal storage via twrp recovery. After that follow below steps.
Follow steps :
1. First flash fastboot miui globle Stable rom on your device. Set up your device.
2. After that install Orangefox Recovery on your device via Fastboot.
3. Now download your favorite rom. Boot your phone into recovery mode.
4. Clean wipe recommended.
5. Flash your rom without Gapps. Just flash rom then reboot. After rom setup. Now again go to recovery mode then flash Gapps. & reboot. (flash Lazyflasher zip allso).
Done.
Hi everyone. Does anybody know why the stock camera produces only black and white photos? Is there any solution? Thank you in advance.
