Cyanogenmod 12 lag - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello forum members ! Few days ago i installed cyanogenmod 12.0 (bagyusz) on my xperia sp LBL.
So far so good everything is working, even the camera makes better photos, but im facing the following problem.
When i turn on wifi or mobile data the phone starts to lag and whatever app i open (facebook, google play etc.) it freezes and shows that it's not responding.

Hi
The cm12 lbl rom by bagyusz is fully bugy and outdated.
Change your rom. The final solution for lbl users is miui 7 created by @Zenamp.

That means i should install CM11.

Help! Xperia V reboots randomly with custom roms

Hey guys, when I use custom vanilla android based roms(tried cm, aokp, neowave) I constantly get about 5 reboots every day and this is very annoying. However when I use Xperia stock or stock based based roms (PXB works really well) these reboots don't happen. Other people are running roms like cm fine on their XV's , so it isn't a problem with the rom itself I think. I really prefer clean, not customized roms rather than xperia ui. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I can do to make them stable on my phone and not reboot randomly?

Help ? Taking Long time to bootup !

After installing Xposed on my Cm 12.1 ( 5.1.1 ) whenever i do an normal reboot it showing ( Optimising App xxx of 122 ) It takes about half and hour to boot up the device. please tell any method to fix this , I'm very pissed .
I have the same problem, any solutions?
I got sick of it and downgraded to a Custom ROM based off of CM12. The ROM I'm using on my Galaxy Note 4 is Pac-ROM, I'm not here to advertise ROMs but I'm suggesting downgrading to CM12 again or perhaps finding other ROMs that are based off of Lollipop 5.0.x.
Try a pure AOSP or any other non-CM 5.1.1 ROM (but not MIUI). CM is too far from official Android to be fully compatible.
Getting the same problem with temasek cm 12.1 on my Oneplus One. It doesn't do it all the time but I'll say about 70% of the time it does it.

Try vanir ROM, a strip down version of cm12.1. It takes so long because it has to do with the ROM not able to pick up the mobile signal. I think install a log cat animation script by chainfire from the okay store will speed up the boot process, plus it looks cool.

Try to install the latest unofficial Xposed for 5.1 by GravityBox's author. He shared it yday.

[Q] CM12 Touch screen problems

Hi guys
i recently switched from official build based roms to cm and wanted to enjoy the great speed of pure google android
but i noticed a screen sensitivity problem over the bottom left of screen (back button area) which sometimes goes crazy
i switched again to official rom and the problem was gone.. I tested Resurrection and Euphoria on cm and both had the same problem.even tried different kernels (M5 , cm12 , cm12 optimized) but problem still exists
2 Questions here:
1. How to fix this problem ?!
2. Is it harming my touch screen ?!
thanks for your answers :good::good:

What is the best rom to Xperia SP LBL?

Hello I have Xperia SP C5303 2.05 actually with a rom 4.4.2 CM11 (Actually i can unlock the bootloader but i have problems doing it)
Well i wanted to know what's the best rom to xperia sp c5303 .205 in performance, battery, quality
first I installed Lollipop 5.0.2 (CM 12) the battery worked good 1 day duration, playing, on internet, apps but so the performance was so slow and bad, but i think Xperia SP wasn't made to Lollipop I don't recommend you Lollipop if you want to install it on your Xperia SP and that's the reason so I back to Kit kat 4.4.2 (CM11) but i have a little problem with performance so the touch something isn't normally responding in way to I need to press strong the dispay to type in the keyboard or the UI stops sometimes, all else works nice.
The generic rom gives me wifi problems because disconnects alone or doesn't go far, (also it's obsolet)
so I wanted to install the master rom v5 and that all goes well except say it gives wifi problems because disconnects, just doesn't work or get error when connecting. I've read that in comments
(is that true?)
Also I saw PureXperience 5.0 (4.3.1) it's a custom rom I think so because it looks like sony z3 with lollipop but I read something about it the people saying drains battery fast and the phone is hot the mostly time (I had that problem in 5.0.2 cm 12) so I want to install a good rom but I don't know which one so can you tell me which one is the best rom or recommend me some and the why
Thanks!
Hi
I installed many roms on my Xperia SP
Cm 12 was awful but when i installed cm 12.1, my mind changed about lollipop
Cm 12.1 was really great, i didn't have the problems that i had in cm 12
But for Cm 12.1 you should unlock your bootloader
I suggest that you wait for Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1
That works on LBL
Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1 [LBL]

Fastest ROM

Hello! which is the fastest ROM? i don't need some customizing, good aspect or ""useless"" app. It's necessary fast & slim. i don't need the latest software version (6/7).. thanks a lot!!
I look for a fastest fully working 4.4 custom rom.
Why? Cause i use cm11 on s3 mini now.
Its fast for this device. But only watching on YouTube app not work. I can hear voice, but only see a black screen.
I tested newest cm13 and lineageos 14. But those roms are slow as hell.
Which one custom you people recommend?
I need fast 4.4 rom for Daily use. Cause s3 mini is my primary android device
you found it? I need it too, s3 my primary phone also..
If you are looking for speed, try any 4.4 ROM, use dalvik (default) as runtime, and odex framework and system apps to save space in /data partition.
@golden-guy's Omni 4.4.4 ROM is great and has latest security updates compared to other ROMs. The only thing not working is search in SMS app.
CM 10, 10.1, and 10.2 are probably fast too. But I haven't tried them myself.
Now I have cyanogenMod 11.0 by NovaFusion, the only big problem is that it drain battery too fast...
