Found a great bootanimation for our Nexus 6 on Bhoot
It is a bootanimation made as a tribute after the material design completed 6 months. The gif attached in a low res whereas the bootanimation has been scaled for 2560x1440 resolution.

Backup your original bootanimation.zip
Copy and paste the Google6.zip in System/media
Rename the Google6.zip to bootanimation.zip
Give permission wr-r-r

Just a heads up - The link you have listed gives the "Server Not Found" message. I just removed the "]" at the beginning of the address bar when the page loaded and it worked perfectly.

Hi All,
I have edited the official Nexus Prime boot animation (BA) to fit in our MDPI because the original form of BA was for HDPI devices.
You can use this BA in any MDPI devices/roms/versions.
How to install: (Not flashable)
Download the attached zip file (don't change the name)
Use Root explorer or same kind of tool.
Copy the boot animation from SD card and paste it to system/media folder (please don't forget to unmount by pressing r/w)
Note: Given path is for CM7 and for MIUI ROM put it in /data/system/theme/boots/
Reboot

Optimus 2x is HDPI.. I modded this BA to fit in MDPI devices. That's why you see blank space.. you can use the original version...

It's not flashable ZIP files.
Just put ogg files into the correct SYSTEM/MEDIA/AUDIO folders then RE-BOOT.
And make sure set permission to rw-r-r by root explorer.
If you change UI sound, just replace correct files, and set permission too.

Mediafire "mobile" has been kinda fllaky lately must be updating. Go to settings-view desktop site and it'll work.

Waking up with SGS3 alarm sounds is MUCH more better than waking up with Google sounds..
CWM flashable zips
ics default UI sounds will be overwritten by this. Other audio sounds such as alarms,notification and ringtones will be added together with your default ics audio sounds.

try it yourself just back up first..
or check your system app and my vrtheme folder in my zip.. if the names are the same it should work..

Install root browser from market and go to system/media, you'll see bootanimation.zip, copy it to safe place

If I may suggest something.
Make it smoother, use more png's to do that.
You have tutorials (check in mine signature) and you'll find there YouTube link for nice programs for bootanimation creator.
You can easily transform any video to bootanimation and have great, smooth animation.

Word, that sounds good, it would make the animation process much easier,
to make this I actually created each individual shot using photoshop so it took me some time
Ill look into making into smoother but i am not going to give an ETA, im pretty lazy lol

Alright, start by downloading ROOTBROWSER app [play store], and allow it superuser permissions
next you go into system>media here you will find bootanimation.zip this is the stock bootanimation, copy and paste into a safe place perhaps your external sd, somewhere you can remember.
next you copy the zip that i provided... take it into the same place... system>media DELETE you stock bootanimation.zip and paste fintest.zip
you can paste it as fintest, then delete stock, then rename as well.
next rename fintest.zip to bootanimation.zip and then change permissions (long press and permissions in the menu) change to RW-R--R--
you should be set. be sure to post whether you are successful in your endeavors or not
