Hi,
Recently purchased galaxy note 5 n920. I was previously using note 4 and it was possible to print using otg and connecting printer via usb. But it seems note 5 does not have that functionality. Can anyone help me regarding this and is there any workaround for this. Everytime I try it keeps saying that usb host controller not aupported or installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
I have not rooted the device as its still covered under warranty.
you should download the plugin for your printer from samsung store...

Hello Everyone,
How are you all?
Actually, i have a problem with Samsung Note AllShare. I have a panasonic Led Tv with DLNA Certification and connected to my wifi router via Ethernet cable. I got recently galaxy note and want to watch movies directly from note to TV.
Note:- I tried this but when i open allshare app and select any video in My Device section then i can see of my videos but when i click any of them to watch on my tv it just doesn't detect it, shows No Device. Please advise what i am missing.
If this thread is already here then please share link...!!
Thanks in advance
Check if your device and the Tv are connected to the same wifi router. Try some third party app like zappotv. Try to stream videos from your desktop or laptop.

Okay, I've searched and searched and I can't figure this out. I have an original Xbox controller (with USB OTG cable) that works on four of my Android devices, but not on my Galaxy Tab S2. And when I mean "it works", I mean that I simply plug it in and I can use the controller to move around the screen. I don't have to install anything. Is there something I'm missing to get it to work? I couldn't find anything in the Settings. I tried a USB Device Info app, which showed that it can see the controller. I also experimented with the USB/BT Joystick Center 2015 app and it also saw the controller. So I don't think there is anything wrong with my controller or OTG cable. Before I spend anymore days working on this, I need a sanity check that I'm not missing something obvious.
It works on:
(2) Nexus 7 (2012) tablets with Android 4.4.4
(2) Galaxy S5 phones with Android 5.0
Does not work on Galaxy Tab S2 with Android 5.1.1
None are rooted.
Thanks,
Chris
I'd like to record MIDI from my Yamaha DX27 keyboard/M-Audio Midisport 2x2 on my Tab S2 9.7 4G. Does anyone have any experience of doing this? I read in another thread that an app called Soundcamp was available, which appeared to do this, but the Play Store is not showing it as being compatible with my device.
Does anyone know of an app that will do this well on the Tab S2?
Audio evolution has USB MIDI recording. The app is 8 and another 5 in app purchase for the USB driver addon.

Soundcamp is in the Galaxy Apps store.

It seems like I have a hardware issue. My M-Audio Midisport 2x2 doesn't work when connected to the Samsung tablet. It's fine when connected to a PC. Probably needs more power than the tablet can provide :0(
Hello,
I am not a developer but hope to get some support here as samsung has not been a big help so far.
Before updating Android versions my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T713 would connect to Ethernet via the plugable USB 2.0 OTG Micro-B adapter.
It seems that the specific chipset used by the adapter is no longer enabled on this specific device, while I am told it is still included in all Android version 4 and up.
So my question is how can I enable the AX88772 CHIP SET in order to regain ethernet connectivity.
I tried going into dev mode and selecting "RNDIS Ethernet" in the USB configuration but that did not do anything.
Another issue possibly related is that when connecting the tablet to a Win 10 laptop it is not recognized. Here I tried many solutions including installing the media pack and other options available. No success. If this is an unrelated problem then I will post this secondary issue in another post.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Is there a reason why you need Ethernet rather than wifi?

Yes, we live in a house without wifi on purpose. My wife get's immediate headaches and body pains when she is exposed to a direct signal. After having been removed from it for several years in our house I feel the same way when it is on. Our house is wired and we use both ethernet over power or ethernet over coax depending on what room we are in. The last one works beautifully.
