according to rumors ... sony has delayed 4.3 update due to some serious error..
currently only HTC has rolled out the Official Update.. and a Samsung Leaked Test Build Floating around..
I myself have been using Cyanogenmod 10.2(4.3)... and currently waiting for 4.4 to Hit the decks soon <3 Open Source

This is XDA! We get updates no matter what!
I think at least 2 updates should be provided. Look at for instance Xperia S. Launched with GB, then ICS, then JB. 2 updates. Same goes for Xperia Go and P. GB>ICS>JB. 4.3 for SP will be first update, so 4.4 should be a matter of time guys I think

You mean, every NEW phone with 512 Mb or more will get an update. That being said, Xperia sola, U and much more older devices with 512 MB won't get 4.4.

That is bull****. Read the news and read it properly. Kitkat is optimised so it is able to run on devices with 512 mb ram. So probalbly ram management is improved but it doesnt say anything about which devices will get an upgrade to 4.4.

Sony posted on their Twitter page that in a week's time information on 4.3 and 4.4 updates for the Xperia line-up will be released. As far as I know, this is the official Sony Xperia page.

There is no official information about furhter updates from Sony. The latest official version is 4.1.2. So you have to wait, if Sony will announce any update or not.
They will announce new update schedule this weekend. Check their blog later

I think we all can wait. Last year (2013) the update to 4.4 comes to the Z1 devices. I think in the next 2 month we will receive Android 5.0. That is my opinion.
