I have a pattern lockscreen, and there used to be an option called vibrate on touch so the phone vibrates on each dot of the pattern.
after the update my XZ still vibrates fine, but my wife's XZ doesn't vibrate on the lockscreen when drawing the unlock pattern anymore and I can;t find the option to turn it back on.
anyone able to help?

It is not this Option.
We mean only the Vibrate setting in the Lookscreen

Perhaps your wife has broken her vibrator in some way? The phone is waterproof... Jokes aside, I found the setting on mine (CyanogenMod 10.1, 4.2.2 as well) under Settings > Lock screen > Screen security > Additional options... but it is greyed out!? #noidea

I checked and no other option to set vibration except for the one I said above. I also tried setting a pattern unlock and there is vibration on each dot of the pattern. Perhaps you can just tick the option under Settings -> Sound and see if it works?
I have attached a screenshot I found which shows the setting.
It used to be under security settings prior to 4.2
the option is no longer visible after 4.2.2 update.
it seems my wife turned off that option before updating, and it kept the setting. but now it's not possible to turn back on as the setting is no longer there......

search and download spare parts plus application from playstore. unckeck haptic feed back there in option
After updating jeally bean there is no option i found to desable it so you guys can use this application to disable vibration on screen lock. it works

I am using HarshJelly 3.0 running on Co Core E kernel 8.0, But my auto rotation doesnt work. Calibration for accelerometer and gyroscope doesnt work, i.e the blue dot in menu doesnt move. When I test my gyroscope using *#0*# menu, sensor test says that self test FAILS. Could it be software or hardware issue? Can someone help me?
never used harshjelly but in CM there is
settings > advanced > general
"use calibration data" checkbox and just below that "calibrate".
if you check 1st box and do not use "calibrate" just exit out to home screen then whole autorotate will break (no matter if enabled or disabled - it will not autorotate)
I do not remember such option in TouchWiz so I know it is custom.
Maybe you got similar in harshjelly and just forgot to calibrate.
I would love to have this MOD for our phone where we can have different options to turn phone on such as we can only the double taps enabled and all others are disabled.
Is there anyone know about it?

Today I updated to Android 9. Nothing to complain except this 1 annoying button.
This 1 forces the phone into the landscape mode and I can't find the setting to disable it.
There is also no way to drag of somewhere else. Also no notification or similar
Any suggestions?
It's because you have gestures enabled. There's no way to disable it afaik.

I also have this button and it's beyond annoying and covers up part of my keyboard. There's got to be a way or an app that gets rid of this thing for those of us who don't want it.

Unlocked version Oreo (not going to PIE since it affects call recording and whatever else it changes). N960U1UEU1ARL1.
Some of the apps cannot be toggled of for full screen apps. Option is greyed out. I like having navigation buttons around all the time not hindered by full screen.
Any workaround to get the toggle option available for all apps so that any app can be toggled full screen on or off ?
