Every time I launch google earth it FC's after 5-30 sec, while I am trying to do max zoom. Same issue on all ROMs, trying wiping, etc. This "feature" found with google maps too, but less frequently. Confirmed by two more users of rn2.
Gurus, anybody can help fix this issue? Thanks.

tl;dr PvZ2 is almost unplayable on Google Play Edition ROM. Does anyone else have similar problems or a fix?
Trying to play PvZ2 has become a nightmare. It almost always crashes after the initial flower loading animation (when it's loading the map). I've managed to get around this occasionally by converting it to a system app and rebooting. Sometimes it gets passed the animation, most of the time it crashes again. Once the I leave the app and it gets removed from memory it crashes again, at that point I convert it back to a user app and cross my fingers. Rinse and repeat.
This seems to be an issue with some users based on Play Store reviews, especially GPE users. Is anyone else having similar issues or a fix?

Not working here either on a T-Mobile S4 with GPE ROM -___- It's pathetic that 1: they didn't think to test PvZ2 on probably the best phone off them all and 2: it still hadn't been patched or even confirmed as a known issue. I've read that changing build.prop can fix it but I can't figure out how. As usual, the guy that knows a fix never reports back with it -___-
Hi,
I'm trying to fix an issue with my mum's Galaxy Mini, she only uses WhatsApp, camera and calls/texts. There are no other 3rd party (downloaded) apps installed but when trying to update WhatsApp from the Play Store it tells me there is no space left or something.
Her phone is ridiculously slow as well, I've tried formatting it and starting fresh in the past but nothing works.
What are my options for fixing this issue? Will a custom rom work? Could you please suggest any.
Thanks.
Chrome frequent crashing, among other apps
Hello, I've been using Android since about 2013, when I picked up an S4 for the AT&T carrier. It was a very nice phone. About 2 months ago I decided to get a Nexus 6. What really has been bothering me is the performance of this phone, compared to the performance I got with an S4. Right now I'm rooted with the most up to date version of Chroma flashed, unencrypted. Frequently Google Chrome will freeze up for a good 8 seconds, and then ask me if I want to terminate the process or wait. Google Maps, Camera, and Firefox also sometimes suddenly crash. I've even had Maps crash while I was using GPS and driving on the road. Is there any way to fix this? Its been occurring since the first week after purchasing this phone. I've checked how much memory is free using multiple apps and I am not low. So I'm wondering if there's a solution. Has anyone else been having this happen to them?
@tenthsun
I would suggest starting by clearing cache for each of the problematic apps. Settings/Apps/All, then choose each each app and clear cache.
If the problem persists, I would then suggest trying going back to stock, rooted and see if it's any better.
Could be rom, kernel, gapp package or installation problem. I would start from scratch.
Hi everyone
since Marshmallow my Livewallpaers stutter every now and then. I'm using livewallpapers for many years and never had this issue. After unlocking my device or exiting an app the livewallpaper will stutter for 4-5 seconds... does anyone else has this issue as well and maybe knows a fix for it?

hi,
I do not have "fix" advice, but i can say this.
I only also use live wallpaper for many.. many, years on all my devices.!
Firstly, i have no "such" stuttering issues with Marshmallow. In general all my live wallpaper work smoothly. I have a large collection and only install, paid live wallpaper, as i believe overall it a bit better
optimize, than the free versions..?
I have however had other minor, issues eg
like my live wallpaper themes( thumbnails/ cache) failing /dissappearing. Not really an issue. Some other live wallpaper, force closes sometimes. (bad optimization)
Above issues i know, is due to 3rd party
issues and my device. (not related to Marshmallow)
Your live wallpaper stuttering is strange.
In my case i wrote emails to the 3rd party
devs, for assistance and to report it.
I must say i had very good response back from the relevant devs.
Ok, it did not fix some of my issues, but they tried.!
I have Note5 N920C stock Rom, not rooted. stock, Marshmallow version. (flashed with Odin )
Also i do not use Package Disabler.! (.?)
on my device... (possible, knock on effects.)
If it was me, i would try a factory reset.. sorry.!
O yes,
i must add that when i flashed
Marshmallow (Odin) i had issues with my
desktop widgets not sticking after reboot.
Had to redo my widgets over and over.
Also i think it's a 3rd party issues...?
Factory resetted, but issues started again( After a few days.)
Then suddenly it stop giveing issues. Now it fine.!
Now only my alarm clock icon appears when i switch Bluetooth on.!
Dissappears after a minute or two.
(This issue happend before, the factory reset and after restting, it came back )
Yes, a Marshmallow bug.! (in my software)
Bottom line,
it could be Marshmallow..issues or 3rd party /device issues ? ?
Good luck
In my opinion it's 100% Marshmallows fault... there are so many little things that I notice that won't work as before besides this Livewallpaper issue. I use Note5 Extreme Debloated ROM which is basically stock just like the name says debloated. I don't think it's a coincidence that my Livewallpapers work just fine on other devices and just not on my Note 5. There are few MM releases so far which I flashed every time hoping Samsung to fix this and so far no luck.

can anyone help?

The phone behaves normally in all other usage?
Only chrome causes issues?
Try this, use your phone as per usual, but make a note of all the websites you have open in chrome next time it crashes or causes issues.
Then install Firefox and replicate the usage, same websites etc and see if you have the same issues.
If there's no issues with Firefox, then download something like antutu benchmarking app and run it. If the phone doesn't have any issues completing the benchmark then we can be confident the issue is restricted to the chrome app and not hardware related and doesn't immediately warrant sending the phone away (obviously there is more technical ways to monitor and test for hardware issues but i thought I would keep it simple)
Of course if it is easier for you to take it to a service centre that works too. Personally there are no Nokia service centers near me so I am limited to self diagnosis typically
Already done that on my own and no crash with Samsung browser in 5 days. Run many times antutu and other benchmark to stress the phone and didn't crash a single time.
