Has anyone tried this new method for the Note 4 yet? I want to see if it is possible.

I haven't seen this yet. Sounds interesting. I'll look for it, but do you have a link?

Here the XDA article, it's only for Marshmallow right now I believe, but it'd be really nice to have on this device.

Thanks for the link. I think it'll be some time before I'll be able to use this method, but it is impressive! That is one intelligent man! My best chance of marshmallow is my tab s2 or I'm holding out with fingers crossed for a decent s7. I wonder if that will help members with locked bootloaders eventually.

I rooted the Gear using KINGO!

As usual, Kingo is the king. it roots and unroots. i did it on my Note 3, my G2 and now my brand new gear. Takes about a minute.

Just my two cents from watching the forums I know over in the ATT n3 page they removed it and all links to it because they haven't proven that there isn't any harmful malware or anything else. So from all I have read if you use be careful and read everything fully.

yes, but I have never had any issues with it. I think its unsubstantiated. And it works every time.

Working wasn't the issue it was what it was doing afterwards that caused red flags.

Why waste your time using this? its so easy to do anyway, plus if it has spyware?
It's just another method and I don't believe it does anything malicious. There are a lot of people on the forums who are happy with kingo.

I used kingo to root my note 3 soon as the method was published with no negative results to me nor my pc. ..I doubt that it's malware they even responded to such claims it's over in the note 3 development forums

They have ceased in IMEI collection and made public source, so there is no more concern about this apk.

I just got my note 3 and I updated all the apps. I'm not rooted and haven't downloaded anything from the play store aside from the updates. What can this be?

This is normal, it is a bug that hopefully they will fix one day. Everyone has been getting it, some more than others and a few have not. Just tap not to remind me for 30 days and go on with life.
Actually that's not Lookout. Its the new built in security policy. It looks similar. It can be turned off in settings>security

Since you are a previous iPhone user, I will assume that this ignorant post is based on lack of knowledge. However, flaming is not tolerated in xda forums. By the way, did you ever successfully transfer your data off of your 4s?
No matter, this is what you should look for...

The image that is credited to XDA is the feature image of the Android with working tools only. This framework has not been posted anywhere other than to the small private beta group. Once the developer is happy that enough progress has been made I understand that the next step will be a public beta and that will probably be posted on XDA.
Xposed is awful and the time to port it to Lollipop is pathetic. It's about time something new came out.

Not all of Xposed is good thats my meaning too, but one or the other good module there,of course, lies in the eye of the beholder
But if you think it's awful, it may not really matter how long you will take. Never forget, we all do things here in the spare time and it takes so much time how it takes

Honestly I would love it.
But unless you paid a dedicated developer to do it, or possible ported it yourself, its not gonna happen.

Check Post #4
I take anything T-Mobile says with a full shacker of salt, their update schedule well I need a bit more salt than that. When I have it installed and rooted is when I start claiming stake to release information lol.
Waiting
Ain't to much changed on 5.1.1 sprint seem the same to me. Feel a little smoother only time will tell.
Nothing special about 5.1.1 but a bunch of internal fixes, no noticeable changes. Its going to work for some, but not for others, as always...
