1) You can switch mode by clicking the button in notification : GSM for GSMOnly, AUTO for GSM/LTE Auto; LTE for LTE Only
2) There are some Auto modes : switch to GSM when WiFi connected; switch to GSM if the LTE signal too poor and so on.
You can find the settings in the main activity

It should be enabled if you want to switch to LTE when mobile data network connected
This feature is not tested enough , so I make it disabled as default
how to make mobile data activate & switch to LTE when wifi is lost?

No this feature by now, because that in general WiFi is free and Mobile Data Network is not free
It should take user action to turn on mobile data network
Forgive me for my poor english
no problem with your english bro but maybe you can consider activating mobile data when wifi lost as sometime the user did not notice wifi lost then will have many missed notifications.
thanks for reading
maybe you could ad a timer like when disconnected from wifi wait 60 sec then enable data + 4g
Hi,
Haven't got the chance to test this app but can it:
switch to 2G when connected to wifi
switch to 3G/LTE when wifi get disconnected
but this without enabling/disabling mobile data etc?

I think there's no need to use this option since the phone automatically shuts data connection off when connected to wifi.
Go to settings - about - status - sim status and you'll see that "cellular network state" switches from connected to disconnected, independent from the data switch in the settings.
Other than that, this works perfectly for me. At work I have really bad lte signal but I have wifi, now it goes to 2g and the signal bar goes up automatically.
Can you explain why it needs all these permissions?
And is this open source?

Just in case you do not know it, the carrier that you use, need to support it in general, and the carrier also have to decide that they want to support on that phone model.

Is the menu inaccessible/hidden entirely without carrier support? I can find the shortcut to "Enhanced 4G LTE" by searching the settings menu, but when I try to follow it I end up with the normal network settings (without the Enhanced 4G LTE option)
My phone is the TA-1004 version

*#*#4636#*#* key combo will get you access to enable VOLTE/Video calling over WIFI.
Be careful of what you change.
Hello,
Thanks for sharing that I fo, I know that secret code but don't stay on VoLTE, seems as carrier have to enable that service on sim card, and they make available this services only on Samsung S8, Samsung S8+ and Xiaomi MI6. They are still on test with VoLTE
I think it depend on carrier.
I have two carrier, one doesn't have VoLTE and another have
In Cellular network settings, you can see one have "Enahnced 4G LTE Mode", but another not.

Hey guys, so just curious, is there a way to force WiFi calling? My signal sucks in my house but my WiFi is awesome. Supposedly the device will prefer mobile signal if it is strong enough, but you can't physically choose WiFi calling to be default.
If anyone knows anything, let me know. I'm on EE.
when at home if you want wifi calling to kick in instead of celluar, do the following but it is a pain to remember to do it each time
Turn on Airplane mode
Turn on Wifi
Turn on Bluetooth (if you use bluetooth)
when you leave house, just turn off airplane mode
You can set it to prefer WiFi instead of mobile network, I don't know if it really works, my p20 pro is choosing WiFi always, even if both of signals are 100%

I've attached screenshot showing the wifi calling option on the phone with Three sim installed
Call carrier support / Check firewall
I had to call vodafone. After some time they decided to disable wifi calling feature for my account for a couple of minutes and re-enabled it. That worked for me. My phone instantly logged into wifi calling again.
Also make sure that outbound connections to port 500/4500 are not being blocked by any firewall/router.
How do you set Wifi to be preferred instead of cellular?

There's been conversions way before the new conversion methods, you will most likely have to comb through the threads and find them. But to answer your issue, I would try a reflash I've been on international side since 9.0.4 and wifi calling has worked for me on every update I've updated to.
I see it says VoWifi in the corner. But, there are no settings I can find to configure any type of "Wifi Calling". Even typing "Wi-Fi or wifi" into the settings search menu yields nothing in the realm of calls over wifi.
Thanks guys! I got it figured out.

Yes, can't find the settings to turn the VoWiFi or VoLTE on/off. They're on currently but I don't need VoWiFi on at home.
One other thing that I see is both sims have same IMEI. It doesn't prevent it from being dual sim operable. But is there a way to change the second sim's IMEI?

No
No offense op but this thread isn't useful.
All incoming calls are Unknown number (no caller number visible) when VoLTE is activated.
No issues with outgoing calls (that does make sense). When VoLTE is deactivated, everything works okay. Turning the feature on/off, also with enable/disable carrier check, does not solve anything.
Anyone know how to solve it?
