Bluetooth Media Audio Not Working - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I have an issue with my bluetooth devices not connecting to my Galaxy Note 4.
I installed [ROM] FireKatN4 Deodex V20XxXR/V5 TW Ank4/Anj7 Base: Extreme Speed
but am unable to ask questions there due to my lack of posts.
Bluetooth "Call audio" works. As I check/uncheck "Media audio", no effects with my device are apparent.
I've looked around and there was mentioning of 4.4.1 causing this issue but I'm using 4.4.4.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks

In case anyone else has this issue, I found this youtube video for a different bluetooth problem but it so happened fixed my issue.

Sound problem when calling solved by custom ROM?

My friend has a problem with his galaxy s4 active. His microphone and speaker work perfectly when testing with music and audio recording. But when calling someone the speaker is dead silent and the other person can't hear him. I saw a bunch of threads where they reheat the audio IC and so on. He is running android 5.0.1. Now my question is: is this a software problem and can it be fixed by flashing CM? Thanks for any and all replies.
Edit: If you're wondering I know how to flash custom ROMs and have a lot of experience doing that.
I have the same problem, no sound when call via telephone app. Videos and music are prefect to. The best is when I use WahtsApp and call to someone everything is ok. So I think hardware is ok but something is blocking standard telephone application. I reset my phone (wipe) and reload rom but the problem wasn't gone.
I'm still looking for any solution so maybe someone can help.
Tx
Samsung headphones are not working too.

Oreo Bluetooth developer options

I have experienced Bluetooth backward compatibility problems with my note 8 on devices having early bluetooth versions. For instance I have a monster rocking roller speaker that worked flawlessly with the s7 and with my N8 I would have audio distortion and crackling.
With the delivery of Oreo there are a bunch of Bluetooth settings to play with in developer options (attached) and I was wondering if anyone has had success tweaking these settings to solve an issue like I have been having.
I never used any of the settings and no BT issues here (Speakers, car audio, smart watches, wireless headphones/earbuts).
Maybe your speaker has a problem...

Have you tried messing with the sound-alive settings the phone uses? The drivers it uses suck! Ive noticed in some cars it was the issue, ive moved away from samsung drivers all together and use viper for a solution but being unrooted your stuck with using what you got

I didn't but I changed the codec setting from acc to sbc and messed with the sample rates and I now don't have a worthless $200 speaker. This seemed to solve my previous problems.
I've been having a similar issue my stereo in my truck is supposed to launch my Bluetooth music players and allow me to control the music player from the stereo in the truck but it does not now since the update any idea on what settings I should use for what they were before the update?
I use the aptX codec on my Bluetooth headset. What's up??

Bluetooth audio issues

Hi everyone, I have a problem with Bluetooth audio, whenever I use wireless earphones and put the phone in my pocket (sometimes it happens with the phone lying on the table), the audio starts chopping every 3-5 seconds and it's very annoying. Right now I'm using the Xiaomi Mi Air Dots Pro but this has also happened with the Mindkoo MK-BE01.
I've already googled this issue but I had no luck except for this post explaining something similar but on the Mi A2 Lite. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/help/bluetooth-audio-issues-pie-t3886132
I've also found posts for other phones (Pixel and S8/S9 mainly) with the same issue and I have tried the fixes I found there (clearing Bluetooth data and cache, removing Bluetooth from battery optimizations, pairing the earphones again) but none of them work.
I'm on Pie with the February security update. I can't tell if this problem was present in Oreo because I didn't use wireless earphones back when I was using Oreo.
Is anyone having the same issue? Does anyone know how to fix it or what is causing it?
Try disabling bluetooth scanning under location settings

Already tried that, didn't work
Metoo! Bluetooth seems to go off when screen goes on. Most annoying.

Bluetooth audio sync issue

Hi I've noticed some lag between my Bluetooth speaker and the video when trying to watch YouTube or Netflix. Kodi has the option to adjust the audio offset so that's not a problem but I can't seem to find anything like that for the other apps. Is there any fix for this?
Upgraded from a nexus 5x which never had this issue.
On Koodo in Ontario if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I just got my P20 Pro and also having this issue. Very annoying. Had a Mate 9 and never experienced this kind of issues before.
Do you found a fix yet?

All my bluetooth devices with only one channel audio in 90% of the apps

Hi everybody,
I was searching through the forums if someone has the same problem, but I didn't find any solution.
Right now I've at home 3 bluetooth earphones (Jabra Move SE 1, Jabra Move 2.5 and QCY-T5) and also the car system that use bluetooth. When I connect to PLEX, the audio works fine in 2 stereo channels, but in all the other apps (Youtube, Spotify, Tune in Radio, Games..) it works like mono (only left channel is working).
I've tested all these bluetooth devices with other mobiles form my friends and family (Android and Iphone) and the work 100% OK!
Has anybody else experienced this problem and have you found the solution?
I've got same problem. Did you find some solution? Thanks

Hi Majkii,
I haven't found any solution yet. I've posted the issue on the official xiaomi forum, but no one reply me..
Two weeks ago I've installed some rooms like Havoc and Pixel Experience and the issue remains..
If you find any solution, please, share it here.
