Guys plz help me. I have flashed my X1i to Valkyrie last days and for sudden the volume button is not working, not even for entering bootloader for changing rom.
Have anyone experienced this? Is there any solution? The button was working and after flash not anymore, this way i think it is not broken, and just a compatibility issue with my hardware, but i cant say why this happening.
Any help wellcome.
Regards, Eduardo.

You use Agent rom and you never search at his thread??? Are you......????
Ok guys, sry, i though was a problem with my phone, not a ROM issue. I just have not seen anything about that on bugs issue on his post.
I will search that, sry for the inconvenience, and ty much for pointing out the solution.
oo sorry
did i forget to mention that i secretly put a virus to kill ur hardwares......keep it for a lil more than a day now and ur device wont even boot
PS: @ all : there is no need to worry for u guys, the virus is only effective when it detects OP's IMSI number
Hey, u dont need to make a joke on me, right? The thing is that the HARDWARE button is not working. For volume, for bootloading, etc... and i cant find a solution on your post, and i dont think its a ROM problem, never told that, ok Agent?
The problem is that Valkyrie post has more than 1k posts... should i read it all?
Ty again for pointing the solution.
You could try another rom... and if it still doesn't work... think it's really HW problem... need to be fixed or replaced.
Thats the problem, how to flash another ROM if i cant enter bootloader?
then this is not your world kid, find a way ...
Yeah, i notice everyone that use this site is an expert hacker that know how to do ROMs and stuffs... here i have no room.
Ty for helping.
No more talking required, just did corrected my problem, YES, i found a sollution that is not written here, and since every1 here knows much more than me, there is no need to share.
Best regards.

Use the RUU tool and flash via usb. It will go into tri color bootloader automaticly

I have been using this forum for a while now and most of the experts are quite rude when you do something slightly wrong - so don't worry about it. This is still a great resource so keep posting...

Interesting, seems to be happening to a few people... may be related to this thread, too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618760
Maybe something related to some of the latest WM6.5 builds? Anyway, glad you found a solution. killer8nl posted a good way to get another ROM loaded (RUU tool and USB) to see if that fixes it for those who still have the problem.

And if your on Windows 7 x64 like me, and you don't want to get in unsigned driver mode all the time, just copy the file attached to your SD card and run it on your phone, it will restart in bootloader
I always use this since my volume down key isn't working like it should either, i think it is just sort of broken, due to pushing it way to many times, to flash every day
ok, can I remind people of the forum rules
1. Search before posting
2. Be polite and respect your fellow xda-dev user.
If you feel someone has created a thread for no reason, report it, do not respond with a lack of respect. We want to encourage people to use XDA, not be rude to them and scare them off!! If people continue in this manner it will be them banned, not the person who opened the thread!! Consider this first and last warning!!
Also, before anyone opens a new thread, use the 'search' function and see if any related or similar threads exist. Most questions have already been asked
If people continue to flaunt the forum rules I will have no other option but to ban them!

You don't have to go in unsigned driver mode for this. I'm also running windows 7 64 bit ultimate and no problem for flashing via ruu for me

This thread is very misleading. Why don't you PM the author or ask at his thread. You flash his rom and you open a new thread...?
Cheers.
i finally got my tilt 2 to wor but the the head phone icon is stuck up top and i can only use my head phones any ill donate if yall can help me out soon as possible'
Catch me up here. What was the main problem in the first place?
Also, you wouldn't happen to be in Lexington, NC would you?
You need to provide WAY more information if you want help. Did this issue pop up right after flashing a ROM, or did it start after you installed other apps? What ROM? Did you run Task29 before the flash?
He obviously already had a thread going on this matter.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814552
And, all I can say is to flash a stock rom, then task 29, then flash a custom..... See what happens....

Flash task 29 and then flash a really basic rom and see if the issue goes away.. if not it sounds like a hardware issue..
Well, In the morning i had my Opal in a completely stable condition with everything working.
Suddenly, i found that my speakers refused to produce sound. Tried resetting the device.
Won't hard reset as of now coz i am too lazy to customize every bit of the device.
Has any member come across a similar problem?
Any help except for a Hard reset?
there are many things that may cause the problem
we don't know what had changed in the system files
try to uninstall ur last app.....and the best way is taking a backup and hardreset
or change ur rom

Well,it is a hardware failure...Flashed a new ROM and found it a hardware problem...A permanent one...
This problem has been noticed in this forum but not answered.
Whenever i try to call someone , the mic and headset doesn't work , i need to recall in order for it to work .
I don't have any other issues with the mic or headset , they work fine on skype for example.
I no longer have warranty .

Did i mention it began happening right after i updated to 4.4.2 ? via OTA.
Is replacing the Ic audio the only fix for this issue ?I mean if things like this begin happening the only reason is a faulty part ? not software ?
I have read allot of posts and nobody had the solution.
It looks like a software issue but in my case it wasn`t. I have replaced the audio chip and after that i have no issue(1 month and counting).

You could do a factory data reset from settings within the phone (remember to backup your internal sdcard before doing this as it will erase your internal storage). This is known to reset the phone and resolve any firmware / modem related issues
Hi so i've been searching and re-searching over and over to fin what is going on but i can't find a solution to my problem, turns out that mi wifi (and bluetooth) can't turn on, funny thing is, i have to reset several times in order to make them work but it will last just a few minutes, although i have notice that when i make it work and stay connected on a strong wifi signal sometimes it wont deactivate but not always this is getting frustating, another thing is that when i do a factory reset or install a new rom rather stock or cm or any variation it will work but just for a minutes as well.... any idea what it could cause this and how to fix it??

FIRST OF ALL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!! AND YOUR BOOTLOADER SAYS: DEVICES IS UNLOCKED: STATUS CODE 3. IF YOUR BL IS NOT UNLOCKED DONT PROCEED ANY FURTHER, but I think its unlocked since you have flashed a custom rom. Any ways Follow this to solve your problem or get the diagnose for the your problem:
50% it might be a hardware problem or 50% it might be a software problem.... to make sure whether its a software or hardware problem do this:
1: Download the stock firmware of you Moto X.. You can find it specifically for your phone. Stock firmware are available for all models like 1058,1052,1060 etc..
2: Put your phone on Fastboot mode
3: Flash the firmware that you downloaded before through RSD lite, then your phone will be on its factory state properly, all partitions are erased and re-written when you RSD your phone. So any bad driver, kernal etc will be erased
4: Now Check your wifi and bluetooth properly if it does not work again after flashing the stock firmware then im sorry mate it would be a hardware problem obviously because you have already erased and everything and re-written it. If it does work then congratulations :good:
Let me know if it works and dont forget to hit the thanks button if it works.
thanks for the answer dude! i've already had donde that several times, so i guess it's hardware problem :/ u know if it has a solution without warranty?

Yes then its a hardware problem bro... umm if you are without warranty then you can check if you have any local markets in your city which repairs phones.. other then there is no way to solve your problem as in XDA no one has much information about the repairing of phones...
