I have rooted my 4x and also I have unlocked boot loader. Now they'av officially released lollipop os. I am not able to install this new update. I have searched many threads but still didn't find any steps to update.
Can anyone please help me How to update..?
my current rom is miui v6.

i really like this device and MM is so smooth and good
but one problem it doesnt have root till date

Now I am at Android 6.0(Marshmallow).
And I also want other Custom Roms to test for Honor 4x Che2-UL00.

Check the ROMs forum for Marshmallow ROMs. As for Nougat, no devs have built yet for Honor 4x.
backup your data using twrp to rollback easily
Che2-UL00 has no Custom roms atm (any Kirin 620 tho), so for now, we can just wait and hope, the users with CHE1-XXX have custom roms, since they have snapdragon

You should check ROMs section
There are few roms now. Can try them out
I just own my P9 plus bcoz i lost my redmi note 3.
When i try to search latest p9 plus latest custom rom most is already dead..
Is there any rom thats still develop for this device.
I m in nougat stock firmware that i felt battery drained too much..
Please help...
Already miss my redmi note 3 :crying:
P9+ is more or less, dead! (na, it's DEAD)
Huawei has left it and it has never been any big activity from dev.

Hi,
The only way to have custom rom is by rebranding to chinese firmware using Tecalote's HWOTA7 (you find it in the modding thread). Then, you will be on EMUI 8, and then you can flash Openkirin's roms (you find them in their website: openkirin.net).

Not possible. You can only use custom rom of available and your bootloader unlocked else you are stuck.

I was wondering if I could upgrade my Huawei p30 pro (VOG-L29) to the newest harmonyOS available?
Honestly I tried getting it but I don't know how to update via the my Huawei app and I'm getting bored of emui. And i don't want to brick my device trying to custom ROM it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, as i said in the thread, i dont want to risk custom romming it, so i dont have a unlocked bootloader.
