I have one that is in mint condition except that it needs to be sent back to HTC for a new processor. I plan to do that next week and it should take about a week to get back. Once I get it back I plan to sell it because in the interim I bought a Tilt.

[Q] Buying nexus one

Hi,
I'm making a trip to the US within a few weeks and I was hoping to buy a nexus one over there, because this will be cheaper rather than buying it in Europe.
Is it possible for a foreigner to buy a nexus one?
And I was wondering if an American Nexus (unlocked) will work in Europe?
I read somewhere that the US-version doesn't have multitouch. If so, is this fixable?

Google has stopped selling Nexus One and they're discontinued.
The only place you can look for is eBay or craiglist in which I don't think it would be any cheaper.
Besides, there is a rumor that Google is gonna sell Nexus Two by this Christmas

You can register as a developer and buy a brand new nexus one.
And it should work fine in Europe. Just check which frequency you wish to use for 3g in Europe because it may not be compatible.

They're out of stock. Unless you'll be in the states for a few months, u won't get it.... and by then the next Nexus phone will be out.
Try eBay or Craigslist. But I suggest you wait.

That was the problem with the initial release of the N1. They didn't sell via brick and mortar stores, only online. Because of this, the N1 sales suffered....so they say.
I saw it as a silver lining, meaning only a select few who know how to use this phone should have it lol...
Like others have said, try ebay or craigslist. Then have it shipped to a stateside residence that you will be at, maybe a relative or good friend. Just brainstorming....GL

Got one a week ago from B&N's own site. Looked perfect, couldn't find a scratch on it. Working ok so far.

Both mine are refurbs and I can't tell the difference. I wonder whether they are true refurbs or if B&N is flooding the market before Amazon releases a tablet....

I'm going to make it happen... $169 is a crazy low price for an awesome tablet from what everyone here says. I borrowed a Xoom from a buddy of mine for the last week or so, and I can't imagine spending that much for what it is. $169 is the winner.

I got 2. One was new and one was a refurb. I couldn't tell the difference between them. Both work great.

Just ordered mine. The buyNow deal comes from B&N with a full year warranty so I am feeling confident. My wife loves hers (running CM7) and I just couldn't pass up an option to buy at $169. Actually $185 for me because I had to pay TAX in AZ

I picked up a refurbished from e-bay for $189.00 iirc about a month ago for my wife. It was perfect. It was indishtingushable from the NC I purchased new several months earlier. I have some doubts that it was ever really pre-owned by someone else, although there's hardly a mark on my original nook and it's about 5 months old. They're just a pretty durable piece of hardware I guess.

I'm also looking for these things. The dell streak is great. But there is no reason a person can't find very lightly used or even new (overstocked) accessories. This device was worldwide, right? I'm thinking there should be all sorts of gear floating around for cheap...just above the price of what it would cost to remanufacture the parts for the Galaxy Note series.

Looks like I took to long to pick up a 32GB Could White Nexus 6 for the reduced $299 price.
Is that deal still around anywhere ? I can't seem to find a "brand new" Cloud White for $299 anywhere in the U.S.

it will pop up again like he said mate, at first i was going to fetch it off eBay for 299$ it was a white one, but i wanted the midnight blue, and i didnt want to wait until they have the Midnight version back in stock again and i had thoughts that they could sell me a refurbished one,
so i just went on ahead and bought my midnight blue off amazon for 349$, and my bad luck i am now dealing with a defected screen , its not that bad , but it is annoying.

If you don't want to wait Amazon has 32GB for $349 and 64GB for $399. That's where I got mine.
If 64GB interests you, they have the warehouse deal for $339 again, which is how I got mine. The one I received was an open box, but the device was mint condition. Sprint had some trouble activating it so Amazon swapped it for a new one at the same price, no hassles.

they are usually open box, thats what i originally ordered but the one i got was missing the original motorola charger and was clearly used
the 2nd one i bought was from ebay

Just got a 32 gb off of eBay when Android police posted the deal alert I was contemplating a nexus 5x bit I couldn't pass up on the deal and I'm very happy with my nexus 6 from what I can tell it's way more premium feeling then the 5x I can live without a fingerprint scanner I just got rid of my 6 plus.

These are brand-new (at least mine was), in an unopened box.
Edit: Expansys is an outfit in Bloomington, IN. I didn't really have any issues with them, but I had ordered the Nexus 6 along with a turbo car charger and a Poetic case which were not immediately available. So they hung on to the Nexus 6 (which was available) for a whole week in order to be able to complete-ship the order. For part-shipments they are asking for $5. I got on the phone with them and read them the riot act about delaying the Nexus 6 shipment for $5. So they waived the $5 and shipped the Nexus 6 and I received the case and the car charger two weeks later. It's all good. Love the N6.
