Hello guys,
I've been using the google cardboard with my moto X for some time without any issue but after switching to CM I can't get it working properly anymore.
The problem comes from the images displayed on screen, they should be pretty similar to let your brain merge them but as we can clearly see on the screenshot (linked below) there is a huge difference of image.
Do you have any idea how could I fix that ?

Recently i noticed problem with my moto X,
When i use touchless controll with ok google now, whats the weather, i dont have any feedback
do i need jacket - no feedback just search
do i need umbrella - same
and when i say show me the weather it gives me wrong weather location
even my location settings are on to highest accuracy and i also set up my home and work location
that all seems to be working fine when i swipe home button to google now, i get cards with right weather on my current location
i tryed to delete chache and uninstall and install updates and still not working, i flashed to stock before but it thinks i am in portland,me
Only thing which works is when i say whats the weather in eg. Belegrade, it will give me right info
and one more thing - my wife is using moto G and with ok google everywhere she also get same problem with voice command.
her phone was brought new, for europe never been to america before and mine moto x was 2nd hand from verizon.
both phones have latest 4.4.4 and latest app updates.

I have to use facebook for my job. When i go through my newsfeeds, pictures that are posted by friends or followers are very small on the moblie site... About the size of profile pics. If i click on the pic, it will open the post and it's still just as small. I can click view full size to actually see the picture. Unless i go through this process i can't really see the pic. The rest of the site looks normal. It is happening with all browsers. This didnt happen with my droid x, droid razr max hd or droid x 1st gen. If i go to the desktop site, pictures are normal size. Any help would be great! I attached a pic to show you what i'm talking about. Thanks.

Use FB app or a different browser. Works fine for me on Chrome and in FB app. Possibly a browser setting to conserve data?
I think it might have something to do with Facebook mistaking the new 1080p Moto X for the old 720p Moto X and delivering smaller images. I've reported it to them with some screenshots, but don't expect it to get fixed.
Posted about this a week or so ago. The error happens in Chrome but not Firefox on Lollipop, but not KitKat. One suggestion that was given & actually works is to go to the facebook mobile site & then choose the option to request the desktop site. It'll refresh the mobile site & show the bigger images.
I doubt it's something with facebook itself because it works normally in Chrome on KitKat & only started happening when I upgraded to Lollipop.

The fact they are Moto updates means everything should be working Otherwise they probably wouldn't be released
So yes, clearly they are working. And working great. UI changes are meh though. And you can ALWAYS downgrade if the updates don't work
i upgraded camera - nothing seems new, new icon
then upgraded gallery - 5.0 icon, highlight reel added like on 2014 moto x
The camera and gallery work the rest do not work at all and break touchless for me

update: motorola mobility llc. decided to remove all .apks from website, so who downloaded and installed enjoy new updates and everyone else, wait for OTA which will be coming soon

Many thanks…I download the service,but it failed to install…Mine is droid razr maxx,i think it is the question…The moto assist ported in my phone works fine, just the home mode could not work, i think it belongs to the moto contextual service issue.so i want to the new version

Thanks, I couldn't get them to download properly but I'll try again from my desktop. Maybe mediafire isn't liking the mobile download right now.
I got all working from my phone thanks! I had to remove assist and reboot before the new moto apk would install. Thanks for posting! All worked for me.
Update. Moto app installs but says it is not for this device.
My touch less display still works fine also.

Made a back up with titanium back up and uninstalled it after. Rebooted, then installed moto.apk however when launching moto it says its not compatible with device. So I deleted moto and restored assist. So all worked for me except the moto.apk no issues with them yet as well.
yes... moto app is not working but it will be in future, i think that is one of main reason why they removed all apks (who apply for soak testing probably know what am i talking) and the other reason is when ppl install context and update services it mess up their statistic...

Context installed for me and I see no issues. Everything is working fine here.

I was just exploring random things on the M Preview and found an app called "com.motorola.triggerenroll" I downloaded QuickShortcutMaker on the Play Store and attempted to open it, but I got the error in the screen shot below. Has anyone else seen this? Also, is there a way to get this working? And, more importantly, is this actually a sign Moto Actions is coming to the Nexus 6? Or, is it the more likely scenario of wishful thinking on my part?

I posted this on Reddit and somebody pointed out an AOSP commit that says this is for the OK Google everywhere command. Although I disabled this app and was able to set it up just fine, so it seems pretty pointless.

its for ok google to work, when the screens off and not plugged in. its part of how we got it to work on all roms, back in december. since it wasnt included in aosp for some odd reason.
I need the moto g7 weather widget to install it in other Device ?

Updated: I also came across these, though I haven't installed them myself, given that I'm using a G7 Power. The former is for Z3 and seems to replace the transparent background with one reflecting current conditions. The latter indicates it's for a E5 Cruise but looks pretty identical. Good luck.

Hey! Is there anyone who could share the apk of the Time & Weather moto app/widget? I know that various versions of the app can be found on XDA and on the internet in general, but I'm looking for the Android 9 Pie version, not any older ones, and unfortunately I can't find it anywhere. My phone runs Pie, and I've had some minor issues with the Oreo apk, so I'd love to be able to get the latest version to give it a try, because I really do like the app. I'd be very grateful if someone could help me in any way! I've just tried installing the app, and it can't be done, unfortunately. It might be because my phone is not a Moto, but I've been able to install other Time & Weather apk files, so I don't really know. If you, or anyone else, know what can be done to install the app, I'll be glad to read about it, but I still really do appreciate your help, so thanks anyway :angel:
Can I change the battery percentage color?
It works a little, thw problem is when you try to add your city, it force closes.
