Reactivation Lock! - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone is stuck on a black screen with a yellow 'caution(?)" sign and it says "Custom Binary blocked by Reactivation Lock - SECURE FAIL: RECOVERY"
I tried these steps from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486564&page=12#post63798831 but I have a problem where Odin isn't reading my ID:COM. I feel like these steps are the only one that will help me get my phone back, but I need Odin to read my phone. How can I fix this???
Note: I can't turn on the phone at all. If I try, it automatically assumes I'm trying to go into recovery and it just goes back to this black screen.

Can you get into download mode? That shouldn't have been damaged by anything you've done. If you can then that's a good sign.
Now here's the annoying part, I've noticed (personally) that Odin is a finicky beast. So what I recommend is you re-download odin from the N910T thread, unzip it into a folder with a similar name, and now that's the ODIN that will (again from my experience) will only work with the N910T. I also recommend for good measure reinstalling the Samsung Drivers. The phone should also have 80% battery life or 3hrs of charge in it to be sure. In odin, load up the image first before connecting your phone, and only connect the phone when the image is fully loaded. That should help.

This procedure will get you back to stock JPU ROM via Odin and Download Mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10449932&postcount=7
Then once your phone is working again you can go ahead and flash to a custom ROM which I'm guessing you know how to do. Let me know!
Ok dude I`m doing it now, fingers kriss crossed!!!
Ok this happened....
I took usb out, restarted pc, then phone went into recovery mode, I did a factory/data wipe, same with cache, was about to restart phone, now there`s a white box with an orange arrow comming out of it and a little green android man?
I pressed menu button, it brought up recovery, I restarted, went passed the white logo screen to swirling S logo screen, also played music, now at black screen....
Still in black screen but every 20 or so seconds it vibrates once then 3 quick times???
After sometimes it is required to do a factory reset to get it working. If your flash was succesfull try to factory reset it in recovery mode.
Tried Odin again and got the same error, so when I get into recovery mode I should factory reset everything?
Tried to get back into recovery from download mode and got the bricked screen!!! Its hopeless now is`nt it
I can still get into download mode.....
I dont really get what you are trying to do.
Can you get in recovery mode and do a factory reset???
I was in recovery and did that and it got to the swirling S logo screen then screen went black, vibrated once then 3 short ones every 30 or so seconds and thats it, it did`nt go any further.....
I keep getting a FAIL when I try to flash using Odin
I notice when I`m putting in the info in to PDA PHONE CSC areas, I dont see where I`m supposed to use this..
MODEM_I9000XXJPU.tar.md5
I followed it all step by step, or i dont see it in the steps
Hmm i had that screen many times but always able to flash with Odin. Are you sure you got the drivers on your pc?Make sure that you havent Kies running,on try or in backround,or any other program that is used to connect your phone. Also its always good to use a free USB port on your pc,and by saying free i also mean that it not one of the front panel USB cuz those ones sometimes are shared.

Repartition was checked, should I put the modem one in the phone section?
2. Open Odin AS the Man said .
Download here: http://db.tt/QuA1G6s
That is a sure working Odin. The one I use. Extract that and run Odin3 v1.3.exe
3. In Odin:
check Re-Partition
Click PIT and select s1_odin_20100512.pit
Check and click PDA and select I9000XXJPU-REV03-PDA-low-CL747761.tar.md5
Check and click PHONE and select I9000XXJPU-REV03-PDA-low-CL747761.tar.md5
Check and click CSC and select GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJPU.tar.md5
Do not touch any of the other options. Leave them the way they are.
3. Exit Kies (make sure it is not running AT ALL).
4. Put your phone into DOWNLOAD mode (volume down + power + home) and plug into your computer
5. Click START in Odin... if Odin gets stuck for a LONG time (progress bar isn't moving at all in both phone and Odin).. unplug phone, pull battery, restart computer and repeat from step 2.
6. Once Odin says it succeeded wait for phone to reboot.
I`m still getting a FAIL on it.
I download that Odin, reinstalled the Samsung drivers and disabled anything related to the phone.
I tried it even without the sim car and sd card in cause I read one post that had tried it and it worked.
From the instructions it looks like I`m using 3 of the 4 files download, remember that modem one.
I definitely have to use that same file twice for PDA and phone?
I followed these instructions to the letter...
file:///C:/Users/Colm/Desktop/xda-developers%20-%20View%20Single%20Post%20-%20[Q]%20i9000%20can%20not%20boot.htm
I`m not sure which one is the right Odin to use, but I tried the both of them and still the same results.
There both v1.30, the gt-p1000 is the one from the previous post..
I`m even trying different USB ports...
Ya fuppin BEAUTY, I did it, I put into the phone section in Odin that modem file and here`s what I got...
NoW I have fireware 2.2.1

[Q] Not another PHONE! PC brick!!

Two weeks ago I tried to make a flash with ODIN (did everything by the book), but the flashing process stuck on a blue screen (probably the reason was my PC USB connection).
After that I couldn't get into recovery mode , the phone screen displaying every time "PHONE! PC. "
All my attempts to re-flash failed.
Phone can still be placed in the "Download Mode", ODIN recognize it, but can not make the saving flash.
I read all previous threads and I haven't found a solution or a single unified approach to recovery.
Now the phone is in service. The question is: if they fail to fix it (or refuse to cover the warranty), can I make it reusable by any method?
Thanks for your answers.
Any information would be helpful.

Use the original Samsung USB-cable, flash a Gingerbread firmware for your region from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881
Use 512.pit and re-partition, you should be able to enter recovery mode after that. To make sure that your device is clean after the flash, try to do a wipe/factory reset from recovery.
Good luck

[Q] Help! May have bricked phone, coming up with PIT error in Odin

Hi guys,
I have spent a few hours reading a lot of stuff on here only to (most likely) stuff my phone more.
First problem I had was it just stopped working for no reason (phone has never been rooted or played around with in regards to flashing or recoveries). It just loaded to load screen (with samsung logo) and got stuck there. I stupidly entered download mode (without knowing what I was doing) and then turned phone off when it said 'downloading'. Then when I tried to go into recovery it just gave me a lot of red writing with a lot of fails.
I then tried using Odin, with a bit of success at first, I put on CWM Recovery and was able to boot into that. Then I tried to flash Root_SuperSU onto it (don't know why, was just trying to get it to boot up past the load screen). After this, every time it loads it goes to a fail screen (white and black lines all over the screen).
I can still get to the download mode but at first I was getting a "no pit partition" fail then tried to use Odin to put a PIT file on it "m3xx_i9305.pit" and now I get the fail message "There is no pit partition" in Odin...
Have I completely stuffed it or can it be rescued?
Thanks for your help, your forum was great when I rooted and put custom roms on my old Galaxy Ace.

When you turned the phone off while in download mode was it connected to Odin? Can you take a picture of the red writing? It sounds kind of like the eMMC chip might have been dead from the beginning of your story before you even did anything.
No it wasn't connected to anything and I can not take a screenshot of the red writing as I can't even get to the recovery mode any more, sorry... thanks for looking in to this.

I was asking whether you could take a physical picture of it using a camera. Is it the one that says "failed to mount.." and then lists basically every partition?
No I can't take a photo of it at all as I can't get back to that screen, it was in recovery mode, but I can't enter recovery mode any more, only download mode.
Yes the text was saying "Failed to mount" and listing multiple directories/partitions.

That's usually a sign of a dead eMMC chip. What error message do you get when you put in a PIT file + stock ROM in Odin with repartition checked?

Attempted to Root, stuck in bootloop

I followed this thread, but now I am stuck in a bootloop
Easy Steps for Note 4 N910T
Recently upgraded phone to Lollipop as well, 5.0.1 I believe. Is there a stock ROM somewhere I can flash back to?
This is what I posted in that thread:
--------
Alright... stuck in a boot loop.
0. Samsung drivers, CF-Auto-Root-trltetmo-trltetmo-smn910t, COD6-COG2_SD_Write_Fix_Mod_TEKHD, openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.1-trltetmo.img.tar, and twrp-2.8.7.0 downloaded
1. Samsung drivers installed
2. Open Odin as admin
3. Phone in download mode (reactivation disabled) > plugged in via USB
4. Selected CF-Auto-Root-trltetmo-trltetmo-smn910t.tar.md5 in Odin, clicked start; phone automatically reboots and continues to reboot--yes, I saw the red android
5. Pull battery for hard-reset; turn back on in download mode
6. Phone put back in to download mode
7. Selected openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.1-trltetmo.img.tar in Odin, clicked start; phone automatically reboots and continues to reboot
8. Unable to copy the COD6-COG2_SD_Write_Fix_Mod_TEKHD.zip on to internal SD; error on computer pops up and says it cannot be done.
I am able to boot in to recovery mode and see the TWRP menu, but since the write fix.zip isn't on the phone anywhere I can't do anything.
Help?

Yea that's what I was thinking; just need to find the correct files now.
Just tried, Odin failed. Downloaded N910TUVU1COG2_N910TTMB1COG2_TMB-v5.0.1
[edit]
Downloaded N910TUVU2DOK2_N910TTMB2DOK2_TMB-v5.1.1 and it got me back to stock, but having issues with getting past the lock screen.

I'm able to see the lock screen with the pattern, but after unlocking it goes blank. I'm able to bring up the menu by tapping the left button and picking an app that way, but I'm unable to get to the actual home screen. Able to pull the notification panel down, but anything I click on from in there will automatically stop running and error out. Back button doesn't seem to work.
OK, so after I used Odin + N910TUVU2DOK2_N910TTMB2DOK2_N910TUVU2DOK2_HOME.tar.md5, I was unable to get past the lock screen (pattern for security).
Managed to get in to Settings on the phone and just formatted the bastard.
I still want to root my phone dang-it
OK, second time around I managed to get the phone rooted all the way. Not sure what stopped it the first time, but I was able to root the phone. Hooray.
The only difference between the first and second attempt to root was that the phone was put back to factory on the second attempt.

soft-bricked odin passes same result

so i recently got a note 3 from a friend to fix for her. it boots to the samsung logo then vibrates and reboots over and over, recovery just says "booting recovery" then it goes blank and reboots to the same booting recovery screen, shes doesnt know what version it had prior to bricking. she said one day it was working then turned off and never back on again, the odin mode screen had a2, a3 on it ill post a pic later anyway i can get into download mode so i figured id just flash with odin and be good, i tried to narrow down the proper firmware with the a3, but after flashing nc2, nl1, oc1, im still stuck odin says everything passed, i tried flashing the big main file, tried flashing them in each box at the same time, even tried it with the pit file, tried flashing with odin 3.9 and 3.10.7. same result odin says passed still cant access recovery or os. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Open Odin, uncheck everything except f reset time, flash rom. When you see reset on the statutes window, remove USB cable from the phone, remove battery, wait 5 seconds, replace battery, boot directly into recovery, perform a factory wipe, reboot.
does it matter what version i flash? since im not really sure what version it had prior?
I can't figure out how to upload a photo I have xda 4.0, and can't post outside links yet. Anyway
It says
Product name:N900A
Current binary: Samsung official
System status official
Knox void status 0x0
Qualcomm Secureboot enabled(csb)
Ap swrev s2 t2 a2 a3 p2
Secure download enable
Udc start
Hope that helps
Ran Odin again with the settings you said, after the battery pull the phone says recovery booting, then turned off vibrated twice then same screen again and again. Thanks for the suggestion though any our ideas? I was searching and thought I seen somewhere that to unbrick it it needs to be the same firmware it had before, but I don't know what that was.

You should probably ask her if she had Lollipop. If she did then that narrows it down to OC1 or OC2.
She doesn't know, not very phone literate as far as software, any ideas? I read in another thread to flash a modified version of nc2 but can't seem to find that version, this is the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703006
Don't know if I can't find it, kinda confusing as far as what I need, like I said I've tried everything except oc2 cant find a link I've tried googling, and that thread says Odin files but can't find a full one for oc2, there's ones for safestrap but can't find Odin
