Lewa translated from Chinese means "Funny (or Happy, or Merry) Frog"
It is fast, smooth, functional, beautifully framed. It stands out from rest of the customized firmwares.
The LeWa ROM creates a team of developers who listened to the comments of users and releasing updates every week. This is based on CM 7.2 by mebitek. It's made by chinese dev team, so it include ONLY China and English language
I will be updating every Friday afternoon 4:00pm as the Lewa Team updates on that day.

1. Installation Steps
Put zip in sd-card and boot into recovery
wipe data and cache
install zip from sd-card
again wipe data and cache
wipe dalvik cache
reboot

Q) can I use a custom Kernel with this Rom ?
A) Yes you can, but it is not recommended. Lewa update each week and with each update they MAY update the Kernel.
Q) Can i install extra scripts like Adrenaline and Pimp My Rom ?
A) Again, yes you can but it is not recommended or necessary. Lewa has built in power management, battery management, cpu control and memory clearing, so any scripts are largely redundant and you will not benefit from updates to the inbuilt Lewa modules.
Q) Can i use link2sd type apps with this rom ?
A) Yes, both link2sd and s2e have been found to work well with this rom.

Nice one, but not really resized even after applying a theme. And also can't add g account. Can't establish reliable data connection to server. Gapps GB flashed.

well all themes are MDPI so not everything is perfect..apply ldpi compatible ones..
dont know about gapps bcoz i dont have active data connection on my mini..so maybe u can wait for some more users views..

cm7 mebitek kernel..u can also cyanmobile or mr.android kernel if u want..

someday will you port this for android 4.x.x???

use ldpi themes maybe..actually the system resizes the png's according to the resolution..dont know y its happening..but i dint test by applying themes since i tested only basic functions like call, msg, root and any other forcecloses..

when other people call u, can u answer it ? for me, i can't answer it thanks again for ur effort

in their website they post that developer version is experimental and problems might occur...

don't worry its very stable and fast..but superuser binary isn't working well, it reboot to recovery but doesn't give root permission.. u need to update manually.. the zip is at the Downloads section..

It seems like you didn't download the rom well.. you need to download the rom again make sure the file size is the same size of the one from the download link..

It depends on use and brightness.. it could stay up to 12 hours with minimum brightness surfing web..
and up to 4 hours in max with multi tasking

Iwould love to try this out, but i am away on business this week.
I hope some other members who have flashed this can give a review.
Either way, thanks for the effort dev.

Multirom is unique Russian project which main focus is quality and stability.
Main goal of this project - Their new translation system and patching firmware "B.A.R.S."/Methic
They do not use jBart! (combine that uses apktool and smali/baksmali which used by others/xiaomi.eu etc). Mainly because of this, the quality is much higher than others analog firmware. Apktool hopelessly outdated and it's time to the dustbin of history.
They used about 40 patches to make firmware great. In addition to well-known patches and patch T9 paid to those present:
Patch Anti-spam, calendar (Russian and Ukrainian holidays), camera, wedge-master, e-mail, gallery, a compass, a framework, Mui keyguard, framework, weather, SMS, yellow pages, security center, videos, contacts, and so on. In general, patches adapted typical Chinese setting and services to European.
They do not include third-party firmware hacked software. Only Open-Source. All apk during the translation are subject to optimization. The greater the amount of free RAM - a side effect of the procedure​

MultiROM have official emmc_appsboot.mbn and other firmware-update files! If your bootloader is locked (It may occur after 6.11.24 after xiaomi update) you can easyly unlock again from off site. It needed it only once.
If you withdraw the right to unlock (xiaomi fault) you can unofficialy unlock bootloader:​
If your phone not boot after flashing, and logo blinks "mi", and you can't to access to recovery.
0. Download the necessary files
1. First install MiFlashSetup.msi (If you have not installed)
2. Reboot phone to Fastboot (Volume down and Power).
3. Go to fastboot_edl and run edl.cmd, phone reboot to EDL mode.
4. In MiFlash choose path to dir Firmware, and run flash.
5. Ready! Your phone is unofficialy unlocked now.

Just flash to official miui rom 1st using mi flash. Then instal multirom. Its easy. :laugh:

can i flash that unlock zip if my bootloader is unofficially unlocked?

just flashed stable MR got 1.3GB free RAM on 2GB model. It did relock BL...
also first I tried MiUi 7 and also relocked BL, after unlocking it stuck on Mi logo...
but there is really seen quality in MR releqse

Yup. It's safe. After flashing rom; flash that unlock.zip then reboot your phone.

One question does this rom support OTA Updates? And if so if i flash the rom now when a new build is available can i dirty flash or everytime i have to wipe first and make a clean install? Cause i am looking for a daily drive nougat ROM and i want to avoid reflashing the ROM all over again.

Yes it does have ota update and when new update comes no need to wipe but you should have the latest TWRP for the ota to work

Edit: I Flashed the ROM and i can say they have made a realy good job. I think this ROM is a natural for our S3.

Hey there, it seems that this rom isn't rooted or am I missing something? I tried rooting with twrps inbuilt rooting system and that didn't work either. What do I have to do?

I tried that, it doesnt work. The ZIP fails in execution. I am on twrp 2.7. Is that the issue? I dont have a way updating it ATM...

its normal to fail , just go now to developer options,root access and you will find the option app and adb , choose it and it will work

stock , i stopped using any custom kernels with roms because it will slow the device . just use stock the rom is really fast smooth

Basically now we have an unofficial build and an official build. Well, cool!

Add this line at the bottom of the build.prop (u can download from store build.prop editor)
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Don't forget to save it and reboot the phone !

Instructions:
1. Install latest T.W.R.P recovery.
2. Download the rom.
3. Move rom to your SD card.
4. Backup your stuff.
5. Enter recovery.
6. Wipe: System/Data/Cache/Dalvik/Internal Storage(Optional).
7. Flash the rom.
8. Reboot and wait for 5-15 minutes.
9. Enjoy the rom.

1. Pure Stock Odexed rom
2. Deodexed and modded rom

Stock oreo seems to have bugs on, mp3 files not playing and low wifi signal

Samsung gear confirmed fixed by installing gear s plugin from apkmirror!

Before you question him about listing bugs. Read the other post. That user says to thank this user as he is the provider of this rom xD..

Can't wait for a custom kernel thanks for the source mate. For those asking about bugs. This is not AOSP/Lineage based. This is official. Shouldnt be any bugs!
