You need to update the firmware first that should solve the 155 error.

use the all in one toolkit
Enter the following command - fastboot getvar version-main, which will tell you which ruu or nandroid version you will need.

I'm trying to get back to stock rom, i've watched many videos on this today alone and here's what i think i know...
i need to download the relevant RUU to force back into stock, the RUU i need is only in OTA.ZIP format which the All In One tool (that was so kindly pressented to me on a silver platter ) doesnt like. I am an expert in unlocking / locking the bootloader though...

Not to worry. When we have S-OFF you can flash any RUU you like. So it will be back to stock. The only bad thing is if you REALLY want to have all the Vodafone bloatware back that came from your original ROM. But there are other vodafone RUUs I think, but just not from your region.

Okay, so I have hboot 1.55, now I noticed on rummrunner website, there is a now a universal rumrunner installer on there. I tried to run that, it can run all the way to the end, but it just keeps pouring 8 times and then fails. I dont get any errors other than error: rumrunner again. I am puzzled. I should note that I had s-off on the same hboot before, but I needed to take it in to sprint, so yeah I changed it to s-on. Now is it possible that I can't s-off again? I am currently using this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2508907, it is the rooted odexed version. I have updated both supersu and the binary. What am I doing wrong?
Have you taken any OTA updates past 3.04.651.2? I don't think it will work on 3.05.651.5 or 3.05.651.6

Well actually I noticed a cmd prompt window does popup during the pouring process and says "adbd cannot run as root in production.." something lilke that, I feel like that might be an issue. I updated the device, but not through the OTA, I ran the RUU.

What error message did you get running the RUU?
And which RUU are you running?
Good question what the error message was. I don't know. I have to try it again to tell you what was the error.
I used the ruu from the link above.

Looking at your hboot it's likely that the RUU won't work because you would be downgrading the software using that RUU, which you cannot do as you are s on

You can downgrade your hboot to 1.44 but the touch screen won't work with your current Rom. You can supercid though and run any RUU if you are s off
Hi, I tried to ruu my Sprint HTC One with this RUU and my device is now in bootloop. I have tried running the RUU more than twice today which were successful but the device is not booting. Device was on 4.4.2 with no issue apart from wifi not turning on, this was before running the RUU. Could this be a hardware issue. Any help please?
Any help please.
You might need to update your firmware.
The last few updates require the hboots on your device and RUU need to match or you get a bootloop.
Flash the matching Full Firmware to the RUU you are trying to run.
I will try this and report back. Thanks
I flashed the 1.01.20.1225_6.16.651.2_radio firmware which is the same with the RUU I have and my HTC One booted. The only issue now is that my device keeps rebooting and I can't turn on WiFi, it's gray scale. Do you think this is a hardware problem?
