How to deodex my lollipop rom on a Mac? - Xposed General

I'm trying to get Xposed on my Galaxy S5 5.0 Stock Rom and to download arter97's Unofficial Xposed, I need a deodexed rom. However to deodex all the programs I could find were .exe files so basically only for Windows and my only computer is a 2013 Macbook Pro 13 inch Retina Display. Do you guys have any idea on what to do?

xposed on pre-rooted 5.1.1

Hi all
im trying to install xposed framework on a pre-rooted lollipop 5.1.1
after installing it throw recovery xposed still not active
Which exact file did you flash and which APK did you install?
The stable Xposed version does not work on Lollipop, you have to use the alpha/beta version specifically for the new OS.
Use the unofficial for 5.1

No Xposed for Samsung devices, or no Xposed for TouchWiz devices?

I'm a bit confused and couldn't find an answer - does Xposed work on Samsung devices with AOSP lollipop roms?
let's say I install CM12.1 on Samsung tab 3, will I be able to install Xposed on it?
Thanks,
it will work as long as its deodexed, i have it working on my tab4 and s5, both stock firmware that I deodexed.
For CM 12.1, just use the official Xposed v75 by rovo89. It's not mandatory that the CM ROM is deodexed, that's just the case for Samsung stock ROMs.

If you use the Framework Wanam built for Samsung Devices you do not need to deodex.

You need to use the SDK 22- arm version. Since the Tab S2 is 32 bit and Lollipop.
If you are on 5.0.2 you may need this one with SDK 21

I guess you are out of luck then. Wanam does not require that but his only supports 5.1.1 and not 5.0.2.

Samsung Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T713) Running on Nougat 7.0 downgrade to Marshmallow 6.0.1

Hi guys! Newbie here.
Just want to ask if it is possible to downgrade my tablet that is running on OS 7.0 to Stock rom or on atleast OS 6.0?
The OS 7.0 was updated using OTA and it really drains my battery just want to roll back again on the stock or on the previous version.
Please help.
Thank you so much
Yes -- but it's not for the faint of heart. You can download the stock ROMs (as well as a range of others) from this link:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/general/index-samsung-tab-s2-one-index-t3544310
To flash the stock ROM, you will need to run ODIN on your PC. I would suggest doing a Google search for ODIN and read the many articles on how to use it.
