Hello!
I recently flashed the latest nightly of cm12.1 (2015.11.16). Wiped all the partitions needed in TWRP since i wanted a clean install. Flashed the ROM latest openGapps and tangerine kernel 11.3 and when i pressed reboot it hanged on a black screen. So after a few moments i pressed the off button on the back seeing that it got stuck and now the device wont turn on. When i press the power button i get the usual vibrate that signals the phone for turning it on but the screen remains off, LED notification bar won't turn on nothing happens, and when i press the off button on the back it vibrates 3 times for turning it off and that's about it, same thing if i try again.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Flush any cm12.1 kernel with fastboot from your pc

Hello,
I have a rooted One with PA on it. Tried to update to the last version of PA and the phone kept restarting (entered the ROM, and restarted after 30sec of so). Flashed gapps, boot.img, wiped cache still the same. After this i flashed [Kernel](002) One-M7 (UV/Intelliplug/dfsync/FauxSound/s2w/Hybrid Linux 3.4+) even though i did not knew what I was doing and now, the phone is stuck at Quietly Brilliant....I cannot do anything to it, and pressing POW+VOL DOWN does nothing...Is there anything else I can do?
Sigh...just sigh

On the quietly brilliant screen keep the power button pressed ... the buttons light will start to flash, that is normal, keep the power button pressed till screen goes off and immediately press and hold the vol down button ... this should bring you back to Bootloader, flash another proper ROM and Kernel from recovery now

It was dark in the room I tried to boot in recovery -> I put the phone under a light bulb and it worked
here's what happened. i was running cm10.2 before. i was trying to clear some files thru cwm. i rebooted the phone then after that it won't power on. i already charged it overnight but it still won't power on. i already try pressing all button combinations but nothing. i also tried to flash a fresh ftf file but it isn't detecting my phone. when i charge it the red led light would stay on for maybe 5 minutes. and then it'll be off for also around 5 minutes then it will turn on again. also when i hold the power button the red led light blinks twice. i hope someone can help me with this..
I have the same problem with my xperia T, i rebooted it from cwm(philz touch recovery) and now it doesn't work.
(bootloader is unlocked and im on stock JB 4.3).
Bro this helped me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170 maybe it will help you too.
Hey!
I successfully flashed the debload zip from here, then i tried to restore some apps i need and went for a reboot as required.
Now im stuck into a bootloop and cant get access to the recovery.
I tried to press vol up or vol down several times after the led started glow green (in all tutorials it says it has to be violet?!)
How can i fix this now?
When led turns green and phone vibrate then press and hold vol up or down till recovery starts. If not i think u have to flash tft and do the whole root, recovery process
Hey there,
I followed the guide on XDA to root my Xperia SP with the Towelroot app. The guide is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783885
I then rebooted my phone into recovery, and flashed the latest build.
I rebooted the phone and downloaded the latest Cynagonenmod 12.1 nightly build for the Xperia SP. Once downloaded I wiped my phone and installed the ROM using the TWRP recovery that I'd installed before. At that point I powered off the phone whilst I downloaded the Gapps package on my PC.
When I returned to my phone to try and turn it on nothing happens. It won't turn on or even load the splash screen when I press the power button.
When I hold the power button , the phone vibrates and nothing more! The reset button on the back of the phone does nothing either unless the phone is plugged into a PC. Even then, the phone vibrates 3 times but still won't turn on properly.
I have gone through the Flashroot tutorials over the last 3 hours trying to solve this problem but I've had no success.
I have found that if I hold the volume key down and connect the phone to the PC then the green light appears on the bottom bar of the phone for a period of about 40 seconds before turning off again. It then turns back on and repeats the process.
I am unsure what to do next. Sorry for the long post.
Any help is much appreciated!!
Flashtool progresss
Sorry for the bump but if this helps anyone that could potentially help me. Here is what happens when I try to use Flashtools to flash a stock ROM onto the Xperia SP.
EDIT: Don't worry I solved the problem. I instead used the PC Companion tool to recover my phone and it worked a charm!
I realised the mistake I made. I tried to install Cyanogen Mod 12.1 without an unlocked bootloader which is what likely caused the brick.
Hello,
this is my first post on here and I am sorry for it being a "Help me" one.
So yesterday I found my S4 Active again and I remembered it having problems booting up and being stuck in a boot loop. So I powered it on and it worked fine (exept for the lower halve of the touch screen not working, but I think that's another Problem). So I took out the battery. A couple of hours later I tried turning it on again, but this time I had the same Boot loop. When I insert the battery nothing happens (so no stuck Power Button). If I then press the power button it turns on. After the Samsung Logo it goes black for a while but the Backlight is on. After this it shuts down then turns on again but only for a short Moment (no Samsung Logo visible but it vibrates). Then it turns off again and turns on again and flashes the Samsung logo and so on. If I try to Boot into Recovery mode, sometimes it enters Recovery for a second and then turns off and on again but most of the time it just turns of after the Samsung logo and shows the same behaviour as described above.
I am able to enter Download Mode though. If I go into it and press down (to Abort Download Mode) it goes into Boot loop. If I press volume up I am able to flash through Odin ( I did this to flash the stock Rom 5.0.1 again, but it did not help at all). I also noticed that if I attach the phone via usb to the computer but no battery is inserted, the Backlight flashes every 2 seconds or so.
So does this look like a Hardware defect or is there any hope for me.
Thanks
