So I just got a note 5 because I was tired did the horrible battery life of the s6. Was going to take a snapchat and noticed a purple tint. Anyone else has this issue? Doesn't bother me much dbut if I'm going to keep this phone until the note 6, it may just get a little too annoying for Me thus I may end up sending it back and getting a replacement. It doesn't happen in every lighting condition. Just some
Here's a comparison between my note 5 and my s6

Mine does not suffer from this behavior. I'd suggest you to RMA it if this bothers you.

I think it's the screen itself that's gone - it's a big white tint on the screen. It came this morning, and a soft reset got rid of it initially, but it came back later and now won't go away. I've only added the Touch action screen (For the Kaiser) in the last couple of days, and I haven't dropped it recently.

If the pic was in focus it would be easier to see, but it really looks like your screen is cracked. Crushed in the pocket?
Possibly - no real idea! Looks like I need to speak to T-Mob to see if I can get a replacement..
Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:

Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?
I'm getting black stripes on any white background in my note. Here is a image of the same;

Noticed it after upgrading to ICS. Actually, I can see such stripes everywhere on light backgrounds.
Bump.
Easy way: bring back for warranty,
Uneasy way: reflash same stock rom with pc odin. Mind your cscs thought. If effects reproducable with same rom, then also warranty.
All at own risk.
Had something similar and that worked. For me

which Note you planning to send back
Seems like the left one is having issues...
I think one of them is amoled and the other lcd screen
Edit :
The difference in settings.. display...screen mode
Yeah, one is standard screen mode and the other one may be movie, dynamic or natural .
Thats the way used by lg g2 mob. to get more saturated colours
The mine is on the left side the green and all the settings are the same!
So, after the recall I was able to get my replacement Note 7 on 9/22. However, I noticed over the weekend a weird dot on my screen that will not go away!
It's a discolored pixel that looks light blue-ish/white and can be seen on all screens and pages. I know dead pixels are usually black so i'm wondering if anyone could help me with what this is? Maybe a hot pixel since it's almost a white color?
I've already called T-Mobile and requested a replacement so I should be getting a new one soon. I was just curious as I have not seen this before.
I've attached a picture of the screen but it's difficult to see. In person, it's very noticeable.
Thanks ahead of time,
